To start off when we got there the lady at the desk was very helpful then things started to go down hill I waited for my friend the get her pedicure so we could get our nails done together. When her pedicure was done we waited an additional 30 minuets just to be seated for our nails. When we were finally seated they sat us on opposite sides of the shop and left us waiting for another 30 min. This place used to be amazing. I was a regular for almost a year with them. The last few times I've tried to come get my nails done though they don't seem to care unless you have an appointment. Their new little receptionist is super rude too. It's been weeks and she still doesn't seem to know how to do her job. She always has to go and ask other people the question I asked her. If she doesn't know by now she shouldn't be doing the job. Today I even tried to make an appointment for later and they told me no, they were booked. At 1130am they told me a 20-30 minute wait. I went to go sit down and the girl who was already waiting said she had been there since 10. I took 10 minutes to look up other nail places before leaving. They won't get my business anymore. I have been going here for just over a year now. I love the whole staff. Always smiling and caring. I recently broke my foot and was apprehensive of getting a pedicure but needed one. I let them know what happened and asked if they could just change the color and cut my toes down that would be great. They were so unbelievably gentle and were able to do everything but massage it. They were so caring and even though I already knew it and loved the shop, this cemented it. I will continue to get my nails done there and continue to refer them. I decided to try out LaVish yesterday with my best friend because of all the great reviews. Little did I know, I would leave bleeding, in pain and with a horrible looking pedicure. The nail tech not only cut the entire length of my cuticle too short on my big toe that caused it to bleed, she also buffed the hell out of it, which caused me to instinctually pull my foot away from her. Later, a dose of alcohol really was the icing on the cake. I've since been doctoring it with Neosporin to prevent infection, but it's pretty sore. The nails themselves are a different issue entirely. I got the $45 Nu-Nails (I think that's what it was called) pedicure with Gel polish as an add-on. You will see in the picture that I have polish on my skin and partially on my toes. It looks terrible. The nail tech cured a bubble into one of my toes and used nail clippers to cut the polish off and repaint the messed up section instead of repainting the whole toe. I will say my nail tech was nice and seemed to feel bad for hurting me, but the paint job was just too bad not too discuss. My poor friend's male nail tech looked like he wanted to do anything other than paint her nails and had absolutely no bedside manner. My daughter and I have been coming here for a couple of years. Tomorrow is my daughter's 18th birthday so I sent her in to get a set of gel nails and her eyebrows done. My daughter suffers from (diagnosed) severe anxiety and depression and as a result, she chews her nails to little nubs. She is very self-conscious of how her nails look and I knew getting a set of acrylics would make her really happy.....and she was. But, when she got home she told me she is NEVER going ba...ck to this facility. Why? Because the employees were talking crap about her chewing her nails. They asked her why she does it and she explained in detail her years of anxiety. Sooooo....they continued to talk shit and make her feel bad about herself and they laughed and talked more shit. Very friendly and clean, you even get your own buffer and file so you do not have to share with all of the other hands that come in! I love coming to this salon and have been coming with my mom for a couple of years now for everything from pedicures to brow waxing. I have never found a more sanitary salon in the area.There is a liner in every spa, they open a new pack of tools in front of you every time, and you even get your own buffer/file when you go. They truly care about their customers as well. Any time I come in without my mom they ask where she is and the same when my mom is without me. They will even ask where I was the previous time if I wasn't there with her. Don't be so quick to judge an amazing salon based off of one customer that decided to confront the owners in front of other customers demanding a refund without proof that she got the infection at the salon. I was in Spanaway a few weeks ago for a wedding and stopped by this place for a mani and pedicure. The place was clean and so sanitized. Instead of using the same tools amongst customers, because of the sanitary purpose, they sell a package to you for a dirt cheap price and you could bring them to every visit. Seriously if they didn't care about sanitary, why would they thought of that idea???!!! Anything could happen. An example would be when you have a surgery done, day or... stay overnight, the medical staffs always warn you of the infection might cause. Lets face it, paper cut would give you a redness and bump, any contact with our skin could cause any problem. Today I had my 3rd visit with Lavish and every time I leave, I am happy and satisfied. They are very nice and patient, they're always making sure you are comfortable. They always offer water or coffee to me, and it's refreshing because everywhere else I've been to, I haven't gotten that hospitality I feel like I'm being pampered the way I should be when at a nail salon. I appreciate that they open new sets of tools when working on my feet, and making sure they throw away the liners in the pedicure tubs after each use. I will never come to this establishment after the video of the rude owners Tommy and Vee who would not refund this girls money after giving her a contagious staff infection on her feet from unsanitary and unsafe equipment. I hope she gets ahold of health inspector and attorney general to have this business looked at. You need to abide by health regulations. Totally disgusting! recently saw a video of a lady stating she got staph infection on her big toe from this place and wanted to write a supportive review because every single time i have gone to this salon it's been great customer service, I always walk out happy, and every single time they have been super sanitary! they always wear gloves and have plastic liners in the pedicure foot spas and you get your own buffer and file and they open the nail care tools from the sterile bags right in front of me.
