I was super excited to go to this place but was highly disappoint after paying nearly $50 and after only 2 days my gel nails peeled right off and lef my nails so thin and horribly ruined! Not only did they leave my natural nails shredded the presicion of the application of the gel was awfully done. I saw Heather for a cut and partial balyage, and she brought my Pinterest vision of an asymmetrical long bob with teal ombré perfectly to life. I've been keeping up with my lash extensions for months with my lash technician in California. I'm in Seattle this summer and visited the beauty bar for a refill. Sigh. Angelina worked on me. Lashes were clumped and by day two more than half had fallen off. By day 4, you would have NEVER guessed I had refills. Super disappointed. Will be searching for a licensed lash extension technician and will never visit this place again. Read Less

Definitely a cute salon, and friendly staff - but that said - one of the worse blowouts I have had.  It is something I could have done at home and would have been better.  I asked for volume and just brushed curls - something I have been able to get in the past - instead what I got was flat hair that was still frizzy and wet.  For $36, I didn't think the end results were worth the price - considering I walked out with still went hair in some parts.  Very disappointed!!! My previous gel was stubborn to come off and now running out of time Angel asked another girl to come over to work on my other hand. What a lovely place! From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and welcome, even though I had never been there before.  Erin gave me the best pedicure I've ever had. Such a delicate touch scraping my heels that it never hurt, unlike every other place I've been, yet my feet came out smooth and pretty. The marvelous exfoliating product was the best ever. I have lived in numerous cities and states and this is one of my favorite nail salons. New, super clean, convenient but quiet, and friendly staff. I like that they use individual bowls, freshly sanitized for each client. Super easy to book on line with automated reminders. I have been to several technicians at the beauty bar and they are all consistent and I have had excellent experiences. They are are very concerned that you have an enjoyable experience. So....Found myself in need of a mani/pedi. I'm a welder on my feet all day and my nails are always dirty. I had been told about this place, so I set my appt. with Erin. I showed up and was greeted by Stephanie, Erin popped up from the back, took me to the very comfortable chair I would be in for the service, offered me a complimentary mimosa and began. I have also been seeing Angelina whose pedicures last forever.  Full service salon with hair, lashes, facials, etc. Easy parking, on-line scheduling, and complementary wine, champagne, and beer. I've been a client of Angelina's for my lashes for the past ~ 3 months. I came to her after going to different lash boutique for my initial appointment... and I was needing a rescue job. My co-worker had referred me to her to 'fix' all the wrongs to right -- and she was definitely right! I work ~ 60 hrs/week so the time spent NOT needing to put ANY make up on because of my lashes has saved me hours and tubes of mascara. From the ambiance I get to walk into after a long work day to closing my eyes for what feels like 5 seconds to an amazing lash fill! She's meticulous, gentle, & open to suggestions and questions. I also saw Candace for a fill when I needed to head out-of-town last minute and she did an amazing job as well! So both artists truly know and care about their clients, they are the BEST kind of perfectionists :) One of the best parts is that they do the fills by the amount of time so you get exactly what you want in the exact time frame! There's always parking out front and the front desk staff is always super kind too, I'm always offered water, tea, coffee, or wine when I come in and given a reminder phone call the day prior -- the little things! :) I'm super thankful for the ladies at The Beauty Bar! About The Beauty Bar:::::I've been to this establishment twice now. Both times I was called one day prior to my service and given a polite reminder of my appointment time. Upon entry I was greeted with a warm welcome, offered a beverage and was asked to take a seat while the stylist was notified of my arrival. Right on time, not a minute later I was welcomed by my stylist and brought further back into The Beauty Bar. The decor, welcoming procedure, timing, all of it... felt very comfortable and fluent. About My Stylist:::::I know exactly what I want in a haircut, and I'm pretty particular. Only a handful of people are able to master it, that's why I've stuck with Angel regardless of where she is working. She was kind enough to tip me off when she left her old employment and ventured on this new journey. Her skill, attention to detail, and understanding of hair is very impressive. I cannot attest to the other stylists as I only see Angel. I'll be a life long customer of hers (and now The Beauty Bar's) and couldn't be happy she chose a place where I can feel comfortable and relaxed while my hair is cut & styled. Read Less

This salon is so cute and I had a great time getting a gel manicure with a friend while we enjoyed a glass of wine. Although the price was definitely on the high side, I was okay with it. Unfortunately, 2 days later, the gel had chipped/peeled on 3 nails, making it a complete waste of money. I probably won't be back. Read Less

I usually wait a bit before reviewing a new salon (I went for nail service) to see how the polish holds up. I went for a signature mani pedi with my man and it was so good! A week later and not a single chip on REGULAR polish (not gel). The owner was super easy to talk to and the free mimosa was the cherry on top. Definitely returning here for my next mani pedi! I just had a pedicure at The Beauty Bar and thought it was great! The decor is really nice with pretty chandeliers and soft lighting. Everyone was friendly and cheerful (especially my pedicurist, who happens to be the owner), and the treatment was lovely and relaxing. Such a lovely new salon! The decor is so fresh and glamorous with a beautiful decorative concept. I especially love the pedicure chairs and will have to get a pedicure next time I visit :)I have also been following Heather for years (since high school!) She is so sweet and always does a fabulous job with my hair.
