Made a 5pm appointment for 2 pedicures, I arrived on time and my roommate who was coming from work and was running late. They asked me incessantly if my friend was coming, more than 5 times. It was unnecessary and really rubbed me the wrong way, she showed up not even ten minutes late and they rushed through both of our services. I didn't want polish and the young woman didn't even try with my massage or anything. I actually went home and cleaned under my nails better and reshaped them as well. Tried this place about a year ago and had a similarly unpleasant experience. Won't be back. Prices are expensive for what you get. This place is just down the street from me and super convenient to get to. I have been here a couple times now and have always had a good experience. They have a few parking spots that you can park at. I usually just get a pedicure which is $25. The staff have always been super friendly. One of the times I went, I had to wait a while even though I had an appt, and they gave me a discount on my pedi cuz I waited so long. This place gets busy on the weekends! Everyone at Princess Nails is very friendly. I found princess nails on a whim looking for a gel manicure that I could afford. Let me tell you, $25 gel mani is UNHEARD OF. Not only do they do an incredible job but the quality is awesome! I've now had my nails done there twice and I highly recommend it. My nails always look like a million bucks when I leave the salon! I always feel comfortable and the nail technicians never over talk or pressure me to have a conversation, which is what my experience is in many other salons. I love this place! Everyone is so friendly and they always accommodate to my schedule. They do it all.. from nails.. nail art to waxing and I have to say Thuy is the best at Brazilian waxing and does an amazing brow arch. This place is great. They worked me in last minute on a Sunday and the service was wonderful. Yen (my nail technician) did an amazing job on my pedicure and my gel manicure. She was very precise and my nails look fantastic! She even gave me a little shoulder massage while we were waiting for my final coat to dry. It was heavenly. The price for it all was a steal. This spot is my go-to in Seattle! At this point I won't take a chance anywhere else. The staff is always super friendly and the place is spotless. I've never questioned the cleanliness of their tools or equipment. Anytime anyone walks in the owners most of the time know their customer's names already. I've gone several times now that there are a few manicurists who I prefer over others but I've never left feeling dissatisfied with the job they did. The only thing that has ever bothered me after going here for around two years was that one of the gals who did my pedicure saw a few long black hairs in the cap of the sugar scrub and instead of throwing it away, she put the strands on the side of the tub. I was a bit grossed out being forced to look at someone else's hair but not a deal breaker. I recommend making an appointment. Holy cow! It's really hard to find a good nail shop especially in around the city. I tend to go all the way down to Renton to get my nails did because let's be honest, technicians do it better in the hood. Let me start by saying, this place is probably the most cleanest nail salons I've ever seen. They actually use very obviously clean tools and new scrubber and files for each client. (I've been to one in Queen Anne where it looks like I'm the 30th client she has used the same gloves on. Have been here twice, once recently this week.  We do the regular manicure ($15/each).  They do a great job ---- base coat, then dry.  Color coat, then dry.  Color coat, then dry.  Top coat, then dry.  People are friendly enough and it's clean, too.  I think this is my favorite place in Seattle now (for value, and quality of service).  On top of it, both times, we did a drop in appointment, for two, and they were still able to accommodate us. Not coming back. My shellac manicure appointment took about 30 minutes. Which would be good if it wasn't the cost of quality. The lady seemed to be in a hurry. Didn't do a good job cleaning my cuticles leaving obvious parts of nail area uncleaned. When she was done with filing I had to ask her to correct almost all nails as they were uneven and not thoroughly cleaned after filing. It turned out she also cut me, so that there was some blood on the nail. She didn't seem to bother much about it and I had to ask for a disinfectant. I do my nails at home most of the time and just wanted to have it done professionally. Unfortunately I didn't get it here. I would have a better result just doing it myself. Read Less

This nail salon location is in Interbay between Ballard and Queen Anne. They have free parking but not the most conveniently located salon. They have great prices for great work! They are neat and clean and seem to be quite busy despite the location. My nail technician took her time and was very detailed with her work.  To her credit she even tried something that she had not done before because I had to show her a photo of what I was looking for ans she did a great job! Genuinely friendly staff, prompt service even without an appointment (though you can always call even just a few minutes ahead and guarantee your spot), and they always remember me when I come back, even if it's been a while. We've lived near princess nails for 10 years and I had never got around to trying it. My daughter and I went there a few weeks ago for pedicures and I've been kicking myself ever since for not going there sooner. The salon is very clean, the prices are great, they have a very friendly staff and the pedicure lasted longer than any that I've had in the past. We're going back today for mani-pedis, can't wait! Princess Nails is not in my neighborhood but I travel from First Hill to get my nails done there because of the high quality of service. I am always extremely satisified with my manis, pedis and waxing. Also important to me is the cleanliness of the salon. I know that the equipment is properly sanitized. This is a great great great nail salon! Staff is wonderful and friendly. They were meticulous and really made you feel pampered. We were 20 minutes late and they didn't make us feel bad or wait. This is not an ordinary nail salon?it's the best nail salon in Seattle. On the rare occasions that I've gone to a different salon I always regret it?my pedicures last longer, my nails are always perfect, and I love everyone who works there. You will too. While she is not very graceful in her waxing, she does go behond the average bikini wax. I suggest wearing a thong, and she'll ""clean up"" any hair that is visable. The staff is really limited, so you might have to wait. The atmosphere is not fancy, but it's pretty cheap. And Glynn is a sweetheart. Read Less
