I had really high hopes after reading reviews. Everyone was very pleasant... at first. It seemed to go down hill once I had to request and insist on a new nail file. Shortly after my nail tech (the owner) completely gashed and cut under my nail separating it from the skin (ouch). When I made her aware of how badly she had cut me, she essentially told me it was because I moved. The cherry on top was her not properly running my first 2 credit cards insisting they were declined, to find out on the 3rd card she was trying to bypass my pin security. This place did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. They had a good amount of color selection but not so many that I was overwhelmed. This place is horrible. Why bother making an appointment. They run 90min late anyhow. Then when they do finally get to you it's a huge rush job! I'm paying $72 for a shellac fill and shellac pedicure. I expect it to be done well, not rushed because they over booked themselves. Never again. Always enjoy my experience with the lovely nails team. I've referred a few family members and friends to this place because of the care that they put into their work. Previous nail places felt more rushed to get out rather than feeling welcomed and relax- and when they rush they do an awful job!I love Ann! I usually request for her and are able to catch up on the kids and since I had my kiddo in October she's been so sweet to check up on how she's doing too. She gives me recommendations for new nail colors or a color scheme I'm looking for, love it!If you let them know you're crunched for time they will get you in and out- BUT! Ugh will never go back here! When I first got there the lady I was greeted by was really rude! Then the lady who did my nails was doing them way too fast all of my nails are not the same length and ones feels like it's going to come off! All of my nails look different, they have zero attention to detail and was just trying to get me in and out there was no one waiting so I have no clue why she was rushing! Should have never gave her a tip! This is not quality service at all! If you want good nails go to Oasis Nail and Spa. I have finally found my new home! Since my old salon changed owners and went downhill (I was there regularly for 8 years), I have been searching for a new place with attention to detail, good service and good prices. I went in tonight and got a mani pedi. I told them I was a new customer trying out places and they treated me perfectly! Just the right amount of polite conversation and a mani and pedi with excellent attention to detail but also efficiency. My nails turned out absolutely perfect and the girls were so nice! Even though they were all busy and one woman in front of me I was able to walk in to get my eyebrows waxed in about 15 minutes. Not super fancy but for $10 clean, sterile, and exactly what I wanted. This is one of my favorite places to get a pedicure and brow wax. The three nail technicians, who are regular employees (who commute really far to their jobs) have always been professional, friendly, and done high quality work. The ambiance is clean, sunny with natural light coming through windows, and most importantly, ventilated with rare occasions fumes from the acrylics. I'm pretty sensitive to fumes so I'm very selective about where I get this work done. I also like that there are massage chairs (that function properly) and someone there has a penchant for playing the food network on the flatscreens. :-) Parking can be found on the sidestreets or underground in the Array Building. I won't go anywhere else to get my nails done. These ladies are friendly, kind, and do a beautiful job. I take my two young daughters with me, and they treat them so kindly, and let them have fun color combos plus glitter, and have great nail art ideas to make them happy (last time it was hello kitty for one and watermelons for the other). Had the best mani pedi ever here. Prices are a little on the higher side, with $14 for a mani and $25 for a spa pedi (regular pedi $20) and $36 for a regular mani pedi (I think she mentioned shellac was $45). Extra 10min foot massage was $10 and definitely a nice add on!I went in around 2pm on a Wednesday and there was only one other customer. Though by the time I left at 3:30pm, there were three other women there. I had Lien for the mani pedi and she was great. My nails are in perfect condition. She mentioned they used to be located at Lake City and 115th (for 13 years!) and they relocated here. I recall that address having near five stars and over 50 reviews!
