Just got my nails done here a few hours ago and I already have bubbles in my nails from them not waiting long enough in between layers of polish. I'm pretty disappointed since I paid almost $60 for a manicure and pedicure and a have bubbles in my nails and for my nails to not be evenly cut. Some of my nails are longer than others which is annoying. I have my maternity pictures tomorrow ( which is why I got my toes and fingernails done in the first place) and I don't have time for me to go get them redone. I thought the service was very nice and I enjoyed being pampered but I'm disappointed in the actual results of my manicure/pedicure. Read Less

I mostly go here to get my eyebrows done. I get them dyed and waxed and it's a great deal. The woman I go to is fantastic. I've had a pedicure and had a good experience. I do however have a friend who went there to get her nails done the other day and said that the woman talk on the phone the entire time and it was not a good experience for her. Read Less

I have found my new go-to nail and waxing salon in Seattle! I've always walked by Apollo Nail Salon and was blown away by their ambiance and how many customers they consistently had. I finished up my first shellac mani/eyebrow waxing appointment there today and now I can say, "I totally get it" This salon is incredibly sanitary and workers seem to love being here. I appreciated my technician's attention to detail and how she did my eyebrow waxing. They even have organic offerings for environmentally friendly options.No wonder it was named the best nail salon in Western Washington 2017. Read Less

Good location but that's about it. I've been looking for a new nail salon since moving to Capitol Hill but this one isn't great. I got a mani, pedi and Brazilian.The Brazilian was one of the most painful with hairs still remaining afterwards. The woman was plucking them with tweezers for 20 mind after waxing! The manicure was okay but the lady was rushing and the paint job was sloppy. The pedicure chipped within a week.Such a disappointment :( Read Less

Today was my first visit to Apollo Nails, I had the shellac polish manicure in #095 (which was the perfect baby/dusty pink color I've been into recently) and my appointment started right on time. Apollos was prefect in every way. We called the day of an they were able to get us a seat with in the hour. There is a  ton of street parking right by. The massage chairs are so dreamy. Lots of different options to choose from (deep tissue, upper/ lower back) The nail technicians were also very friendly and would check in to make sure everything was good. Based on the reviews I decided to check it out ! I had a Champagne Pedicure - done by Angie and It was amazing. The exfoliation/massage was way beyond what I would have imagined based on my experience with nail salons. The atmosphere is very relaxing and modern - I even got right in without an appointment. What I appreciated most about my recent visit to Apollo Spa was that you can make an appointment online, and they actually stay true to your scheduled appointment time.  They do charge extra for shellac removal (just something to be aware of), but overall, they did a great job and I will definitely be back. Oh, Apollo! What a great nail salon. I've grown up around my family's salons and all my aunties being nail technicians, so it was hard to get a mani/pedi that serves as good practice for them, too. Now that I live in Seattle, it's a bit hard to take advantage of these perks. Sad, I know. A friend recommended that we come in for a bit! I got a manicure while my friend got a pedicure. The receptionist sat us both in the big massage/pedicure bath chairs so that we could be seated together which was much appreciated. It was comforting to see so many Vietnamese nail techs who were not only good at what they do, but seemed to be enjoying their jobs, too! It was nice to strike up a mini-conversation with the both of them and they were super cute when they realized my friend and I were Vietnamese, too. After all the small talk and catching up with juicy gossip, we were both finished in roughly 30 minutes! We were offered to come back to try out the champagne mani/pedis and I'll have to say, I'm definitely intrigued! It's no wonder this place is ranked #1 by Evening Magazine....Just be prepared to look for a little bit of parking. I think we ended up parking on the street, so it was only a few bucks to validiate anyways. The scented candles are AWFUL! I only schedule a waxing ahead of time so that I can show up, get waxed and run! They are great at waxing. Great at everything, really but I can't get manicures & pedicures anymore. The people who work there are sweet but for those of us with multiple chemical sensitivities, it is BRUTAL. Read Less

I really enjoy this Apollo location. Come here regularly with two friends every month or so, and they always seem to be able to fit us in. The ambience is modern and fun, and the ladies are always nice.Tons of polish and shellac choices. The massage chairs for the pedicures are lovely. The scrub and massage you get with the pedicures is just wonderful, especially to help unwind. I look forward to many more return trips. Read Less

This is a great place to get your nails done. Your feet as well. Apollo takes a great deal of pride in their nail shop. They offer waxing as well and I think possibly facials. Not sure on that so do not quote me. Customer service is amazing. Read Less

We moved to Seattle 3 weeks ago and started looking for a good nail salon. All places in downtown have negative reviews and more important for me even positive reviews have pictures of really bad work. Appolo Nails&SPA didn't have best reviews either but at least all pictures of work were decent. So I decided to give it a try. I invited my friend and we had both mani and pedi. I did regular polish, she did gel. Both results were really great. We left this place happy.The only one advice I would give to this place manager is to expand the gel brand selection. Currently Appolo is working only with CND and it's not the best product that exists on the market. OPI and ORLY produce really high quality gels. And their color selection is more interesting. Otherwise everything was great. Massaging chairs, scrab, hand massage etc. I will definitely come back and will recommend this place. Read Less

Was on vacation this past week and popped into this salon for a little pampering. Paid $70 for a regular pedicure and gel manicure, and although it's pricier than what I'm used to in California, I think it was worth it. The shop is big, clean, and modern and run very well. Everyone is organized and professional -- they actually honor your appointment (I make appointments in San Diego and still wait an hour lol) and the technician communicates often to make sure the water isn't too hot, they're not hurting you, and let you know if they have to get up and do another quick task. I also like that you bring a ticket up to the front when paying -- it's a tiny detail but it's nice to not have techs shouting across the salon telling the cashier how much to charge you.There were 3 receptionists (2 girls, 1 guy), and Victoria was my tech. I had pleasant interactions with all. Extra kudos to Victoria for the best massage everrr. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Seattle! Read Less

This place is large, updated, clean, and modern. It's quite a bit nicer than most pedi / mani places! It's on 15th in the heart of cap hill. They serve wine and do a fantastic job. I saw Vanessa, I never remember anyone's name.. but this lady was meticulous . Even the littlest spot as she was working on my gel mani, she made sure it was absolutely perfect. She cared more than I did, love that. It's a great place to do a girls day, they allow you to bring in your own mimosas, snacks, etc. as well. Definitely call ahead and book an appointment. I've been to this Capitol Hill location and the site in Queen Anne. Both times, they did a fine job with my mani/pedi. The shellac lasted about the same as other places I've been to. The women working were very nice and I didn't have any problems with my appointments.I just don't think it's worth the money. $90 for a shellac mani/pedi is just too much when I could go lots of other places and spend $55 for the same quality. I love my manicure! I don't get my nails done very often so this was definitely a treat. I had Tina and though she was quiet, I didn't mind at all. She was VERY focused and I could tell she was experienced. My nails came out perfect- they were gel so if there was any accidental paint somewhere it shouldn't be you'd be able to tell. I think I read a previous review that said there weren't many gel colors to choose from? That has definitely been corrected as I was handed a key ring of all their sample colors and it seemed like plenty to choose from to me. I'm pretty rough with my hands and as a result I often have broken nails. For some reason both my middle fingers were broken, but I asked her for an oval shape on the other nails and just to clean up the middles the best she could. She did a wonderful job and I am quite pleased! The shop is very clean and organized. My appointment was at 1:15, I came in at 1:11 and was seated/started at around 1:15. Didn't wait long at all, but I do love the waiting area so I wouldn't have minded a few minutes longer. Additionally it was really easy for me to call ahead and make an appointment same day. It lasted roughly 45 minutes  which I think was a great time considering I watched her working/using the entire time. The only downside I have is that it is kind of expensive. I also noticed that they have a written schedule they go off of so when I read in earlier reviews that there was a discrepancy between online/actual appointments that's probably why. I would probably suggest calling if you're trying to make a day of appointment.Overall I think I'll be returning! Read Less

This place is awesome! They have a nice big clean space with plenty of pedicure chairs. Although I got a manicure this time I'll be back for a pedicure! I have long natural nails and usually other salons will file them short and I hate it. But I was with Dana and she listened to exactly what I said. I've never had that happen at a nail salon. I'm very pleased! I like that everything is clean and sterilized as well. My only complaint is that the online booking does not refresh if there are cancellations so sometimes it's best to just call if your on a short time limit. Read Less

A little bit pricey but well worth your while. Apollo Nails & Spa did such a great job with my mani/pedi - I know I'll be back multiple times this year!Located on 15th, I liked that this was a little bit out of the way but still close enough to grab a quick brunch at the Wandering Goose or a coffee at Cafe Ladro or Victrola before heading in. They have a huge space with upwards of 12 chairs for pedicures and numerous stations of manicures. Not one corner of the space looked dirty, so I felt very comfortable throughout the experience. The ladies that worked on both my friend and I took their time on our pedicures, but I came out feeling great. Both were very friendly, and also worked on our hands for our shellac manicures. My shellac shape turned out great, and has lasted nearly 3 weeks without a single chip so far. I also loved that they had an online booking system - it made making a reservation, reminders, etc. so much easier than most other nail salons I've been to. Place was clean and friendly. Massage and offerings were standard quality. The technician made sure the polish was done very well. $55 for a shellac pedicure $5 to remove shellac (I thought should have been included for such a price). I brought in my own shellac because they only have standard colors, nothing fancy- there wasn't a discount. So Clean HUGE place with lots of chairs but it is always super busy and IMO overpriced. Kim Manucure est assurément le meilleur endroit pour les manucures et pédicures. Ils sont minutieux et soucieux d'un bon service. De plus, ils utilisent les meilleurs produits, comparativement à ceux utilisés dans les centres commerciaux. Il n'y a pas de comparaison possible. En prenant un rendez-vous à l'avance, il n'y a aucun problème d'horaire. Pour de la qualité, ça vaut le coup. Je suis cliente depuis l'ouverture et je ne peux m'imaginer aller`à un autre endroit. Cette semaine j'ai voulu retenir les services d'une employée laquelle a l'habitude de me faire un pédicure spa. Le propriétaire m'a dit que ce n'était pas possible au moment où j'en aurais eu besoin. Pour des raisons de santé je me devais de faire enlever le vernis-gel pour un examen imprévu. À l'heure que l'on m'a proposé c'était impossible de m'y rendre. J'ai laissé 2 messages sur le répondeur pour les aviser que j'irais aux Galeries. Après mon examen jeudi pm, j'ai demand...é un rendez-vous pour recevoir le pédicure. Quelques minutes après le propriétaire m'a téléphoné pour me dire que son employée était insulté que je sois allée aux Galeries et que ce n'était pas la seule fois. C'est vrai, à une ou deux fois depuis 4 ans que je fréquente le salon à tous les mois, il m'est arrivée d'être obligée d'aller ailleurs pour des conflits d'horaire. À chaque fois, j'avisais. Et l'inverse est arrivé aussi. À quelques reprises, le propriétaire me demandait de changer d'heure, de jour, faute d'employés. Je ne me suis pas sentie respectée comme cliente assidue.
