I got the signature pedicure with Liz and it was wonderful! Greeted with a glass of wine, then whisked away to the lovely pedicure station. For $45 you get ~45-50 minute pedicure that was absolutely lovely. Friendly service and beautiful results, will be back! Read Less

Very nice salon! Clean and professional- the first thing I noticed about Liz station was all the goodies she had for nail art! I got my make up and hair done for the Submarine Birthday Ball and I can't say enough good things about this place! They use Bare Minerals which made my face feel great! I've been a regular at A Luxe Salon for about a year or so and have always left feeling happy and beautiful! The salon itself is well decorated, clean, and has a fun vibe. All the gals there are great -- super nice, welcoming and accommodating. I was a regular client of Liz (nails) and Kriztina (lashes), and am so happy to have found them. Liz is a great nail artist/manicurist. Every time she filled my nails (I got acrylics), they'd last a really long time between 3-4 weeks. She's really sanitary and is detail oriented at every step of the process. She's super talented and creative, and always knew about the cute nail trends going on (e.g. Chrome nails). Plus, she was always patient with me when I had trouble deciding what nail color/design I wanted, which I really appreciated. Kriztina is a great lash artist. She cared about the looks of my lashes, but more so cared about the health of my lashes, which I really appreciated. I got  the volume lash extensions done and I really loved them since my natural lashes are stubby and stick straight. I always felt glamorous leaving with my full, fluffy lashes! And they last a good amount of time, again, 3-4 weeks until I went in for about her fill. She's also great at makeup and helped me match my foundation, etc. and I love whatever she recommended. Only reason why I'm leaving the salon is because I'm moving down to San Francisco...it was hard to say goodbye to the team. Liz Vargas -- If you need anyone to do your nails...it must be Liz! She is the most creative nail artist I have ever met. I have been getting my nails done by liz since before she was working at A Luxe and I will follow her wherever she goes, no questions asked. Liz is friendly and personable and will provide an incredible service from greeting me with wine (if I have an appointment after 5), to remembering details we spoke about the previous time and asking about them.Liz always knows exactly what to do with my nails and most times all I have to do is say one word like "fall," "Disney," or "wedding." Liz did both my sister's wedding nails and mine most recently on December 1st. I would not trust anyone else with special occasion nails. I receive so many compliments on my nails, both for their design as well as the shaping that I feel obligated at this point to write this review. (Even though if she ever got too busy to do my nails I would probably cry.) Liz always does a shellac manicure for me and I am honestly not kidding when I write this, but my nails will last almost three months if I don't remove the polish. The only reason for removing the polish is because my nails simply get too long and I can't type, but the polish is perfect and has never once chipped.The price is usually around $50 plus tip (depending on how much nail art I get) and worth every dollar! I recently have moved back to Seattle from the eastside and wanted to find a new place to get my nails done in my new neighborhood. Luxe Nails has amazing reviews and I didn't think twice about making an appt and waiting two days to get in. The lady who did my nails was beyond nice. However, the experience and outcome were terrible. I have started getting shellac on my toes and it took several times as the light was not working. The paint is uneven and lumpy. Along with the paint on my toes, I still have dry blood from my skin being cut (as you can see from pictures). It has been 6 days. Along with getting shellac on my toes. I get shellac on my nails because it lasts forever. My thumb chipped one hour later and now is half off (as you can see in the pictures). After two hours I paid $100!! That was after my discount for my birthday and patience. The lady said I could come back if anything happened within 7 days and even though it all happened within 1 hour, I am unwilling to return. My gel/shellac pedicure cost me about $65 including the cost for removal... Yes this was only for a single pedicure. I looked up prices online and the removal for previous polish cost way less than what she charged me at the salon. That is the most damn expensive pedicure ever and my toe nails didn't even look that great afterwards. I usually pay around $50 for a gel mani-pedi including tip. Some of the polish didn't even reach the bottom of the toe nail where it meets the cuticle.As for the service, the lady who helped me was really nice and got me water. The ambiance of this place is more upscale and nice than your typical nail salons. She talked to me, in which it's different from the full-on Vietnamese nail salons I usually go to. However, I usually prefer the silence of my nail technicians (since most of them haven't been able to speak English with me) so I can be at peace.Even though the environment is less ghetto and probably use better polish- in the end you can't really tell the difference of the quality of polish on your toes. I'll stick to typical type nail salons as they got their ish down. Read Less
