I have tried a few different shops in the area, and they have been, at the very best, disappointing. The shops in this area are less than impressive so far my experience. I stopped by Southhill nails on my way home and I am so happy I did! I first looked at the reviews, and 4 and a-half stars is never a bad thing. The pictures I was a little torn on, but every reviewer was so happy with their nails, it seemed worth it to give this shop a try. The set of nails I came in to get a fill on were uneven, chunky and just mediocre (from the previous shop I went to). I saw Kim and am so happy I did!She changed my shape from Almond to coffin. As I said, the set I came in with was pretty terrible, but Kim took her time evening out the tips and sides. She thinned the acrylic down a lot (I like mine thin and narrow), and she went back several times with a file to make sure every nail was even. The polish job was beautiful, and I didn't feel rushed out when it was time to leave. I sat for a good ten minutes under the dryer. All the employees were nice and accommodating. The shop was slow, but had a steady flow of regulars (which is a great sign!).Overall, I am so so happy! This is the first time, since I left Seattle, that I have walked out of a shop and been in love with my nails! THANK YOU!! I will certainly be back! Read Less
