Fist time there and all I can say is, terrible, terrible, terrible service! The lady who did my nails was so rough and did such a poor job. I ended up with crooked, ugly, uneven nails. Her customer service was just as bad, not once did she ask me any questions on what I wanted or a simple how are you doing, but of course she still had to nerve to ask for a tip after still charging me $40 for full acrylic nail set that looks like a 3 year old did the job. I've been to sooo many nail salons in Puyallup but this one just about takes the cake. My mother recommended this place after going here for a couple months ( She gets gel manicures regularly ) but I was kind of iffy at first, with it being in a Walmart and all. The staff here is really lovely and kind and genuinely want to make your experience great. Kenny is really awesome, he always makes sure I love the way my acrylics are turning out throughout my appointment. I've been going here for a few months now and never had a bad experience! I was a bit skeptical about going to a nail salon in Walmart, but I was desperate since no other decent salon had any openings within the timeframe I needed. Based on other reviews, I chose to give it a shot. Don't let the location fool you. These individuals are so friendly and customer service oriented! My 6 year old was pampered like a princess (mani and massage chair pedi for only $20 total). I had a gel mani and pedi ($43 total). They didn't have the gel polish color that matched my toenail polish, but they were able to make it! A nail place that can turn polish into gel!? My nails turned out great. Three stars were given, however because the water I was asked to put my feet into was scalding hot--the nail tech didn't double check the temperature before hand, but this was easily corrected. Also, the corner of my toenail was trimmed too far back into my cuticle, which caused it to bleed a little. Following my pedicure, I couldn't help but notice that tools were placed back in the nail tech's cart drawer, rather than in barbicide for sterilization. I became a bit concerned that maybe the tools weren't sterile before they were used on me. Read Less

Place sucks first time I went there I asked for acrylics and ended up paying 40$ for a guy to wash my hands and paint my nails. While he did it he sat on his phone not even asking me what I wanted some to my nails. Absolutely NO respect for customers paying him money to do their nails. Wouldn't recommend. Read Less

I got a pedicure here a few months back and it was the worst I've ever gotten. It was done young boy who did it, he didn't get the callouses of my feet, didn't massage my legs, I had to tell him to cut my toenails. And the paint job was horrible. Got a pedicure that was $23 and a full set acrylic for $25. I liked how both came out and will be returning in 2 weeks for my fill. Staff here for me in at short notice but via appointment. I recommend! Read Less

I visited this nail salon not too long ago. I walked in and was greeted right away. The beauticians treated me in a cordial manner and were very friendly. I got a simple upper lip waxing done. I was taken to the back and the lady started a friendly conversation with me. She made sure I was comfortable and made sure I felt okay after each wax strip was pulled off. The wax was not too hot or cold when applied and the procedure was very fast and efficient. An oil was used before and after the treatment and the lady made sure that I was satisfied by providing me with a mirror to see the results. Overall I was very satisfied with the results and I even tipped the lady because it was the best upper lip waxing experience I had in the past 4 months! I definintely experienced some of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced as a paying customer. Basically, i had gone their 2 days prior to get my nails done and within those 2 days, one nail chipped and the polish was starting to come off (the clear nail polish layer was peeling). Mind you, I really don't do a lot of physical outdoorsy activities, and I work at a bank so really there is no logical reason as to why they would be doing that within 2 days. So I go in there and politely ask if they can fix the chip on my nail, they said yes and to pick out the color. Well i don't know what had happened to the color but it wasn't there anymore so I picked the closest I could find. The way that she "fixed" the chip though was just sanding down the nail, she didn't add any more acrylic to it to even it out or anything and then painted over it. I asked her if she could repaint my other nails since the polish had chipped off so easily. She said she would only do it if she could paint over the polish already there. I asked her if she could take off the polish and she told me i would have to pay 7$ if I wanted the polish off of the nails. I explained to her my frustration about how its literally only been 2 days, but she was insistent about the 7$ and said the only way she wouldn't charge is if it was the same color i previously had. Which didn't make sense to me because the color was missing, I found the closest one to it, not like I wanted a completely different color. Anyways, I work super near by and get my nails done every week... It would have been convenient to have a nail place so close to my work to go to regularly but if you can't do a courtesy nail polish change or if you only fix chips half-assed than I would rather just go somewhere else where they know how to treat paying customers.Read Less
