I have spent the last 15 years in a cycle of biting my nails and getting them drilled and filed to nothing at little shopping centre salons. I came to Glamour about 6 months ago with horribly short, sore and damaged nails. The care that these ladies take in the service they provide is better than any i have ever experienced. It’s my go to salon for not only nails but amazing customer service from the all the girls at the Subiaco salon. I had tried nail tech after nail tech after moving back up to Perth to be disappointed every single time. I booked my first appt and received a call from the Owner of the salon who assured me that my nails wouldn’t lift nor have any issues as I was going from hard gel back to acrylic. Well she was right.. I’ve loved every appt and the finished work I have had each time I couldn’t fault. Today I had the most stunning set of ombré french nails done by Kellyanne....THANK YOU!!!! Do not go here for bridal party nails!! Booked in advance for 7 girls to get nails done for a wedding. They told us they didn’t have time to do half my bridal party’s spa pedicure. So the same night, a day before my wedding we rushed across the road to Cockburn gate to the nail salons there to get our spa pedicures. Terrible experience and terrible customer service. I’m so so disappointed with my experience and I will never go back there ever again and I will never recommend them to anyone. One girl did my nails and honestly she needs a lot, a lot of training as my nails looked so ugly. The next girl did my nails and they looked nice, but just came off. After 8-10 days I had already 3 nails popped off, I didn’t even feel when I lost them. I contacted them and they promised to fix them and as they told me “look after me” and asked me to ...come in so they can take a look what’s wrong. I made appointment, went there but nobody apologised, no one checked the other nails if there is something wrong. No customer service what so ever. They just fixed the ones what were broken and still charged me for art?!?!? Are you kidding me? I found myself an awesome new nail technician and when she saw my nails she was in shock and couldn’t believe that it was glamour nail bar who did my nails as they used to have very good reputation. Honestly what bothers me the most is the attitude. It’s not a cheap place and if I’m paying almost $100 for just the refills, I do expect my nails to last and a good customer service. Danielle is amazing!! She’s been doing my nails since April and every single set has been f l a w l e s s and worth absolutely every cent. I’d rather pay for quality, and not only do I receive above and beyond every single time but i’m actually able to go as long as 6 weeks between fills when I need to and my nails are still in great condition! Danielle uses the highest quality products and educates her clients as she goes. I have learned so much for her including how to be an advocate for myself and my body when I get my nails done. So many shops in the area have ruined my nails or hurt me and she is the first person to explain how and why this happens. Gone are the days where someone only spends 20 minutes doing my nails for a quick buck. She takes her time and genuinely cares about the craft. As far as being a millionaire to get your nails done by Danielle, most things that cost money are done CORRECTLY. I have had the same set on for a year because none of my nails have lifted or broken. After a horrible and painful experience the first time I ever had my nails done at a different salon, I was reluctant to get them done again, until I visited Glamour Nail Bar in Cockburn. Tl;dr - LOVE my nails and Danielle! Definitely check her out. I have been looking for a solid nail artist in Seattle since I moved here from Las Vegas. I desperately needed my nails done while staying on Bainbridge for the week, so I thought I'd look for places on this side and found Danielle in Poulsbo through Yelp. I double checked her work on Instagram and was impressed! I texted her to make an appointment and she got back to me the same day for an appointment 2 days later. Danielle is SO nice and so fun. She genuinely enjoys doing nails and art and liked that I let her have fun with the design. I walked in with my nails a disaster. I love gel polish, but I wanted length while waiting for them to regrow. She gave me a couple options and we decided to use tips with hard gel for now. She asked about the shape and length at every step, and let me know any time they were sticky so I knew not to use them at that moment. She loved my nailspiration and put 2 of the ideas I liked together for hand painted art. I LOVE my nails!
