By far the worst place to go for a spa day in Olympia. This place is horrible and should be shutdown. They charged my debit card two times for one pedicure $47 twice went to explain the situation and they made excuses and did nothing about it. Absolutely horrible service... The woman who initially did my nails put the acrylic on so thin, within two days two of my nails split my nail beds and another nail broke at the tip... I thought to myself no big deal, I'll just go back so they can fix them... I walk in the door, explain the situation and they took absolutely no accountability and attempted to blame me for their bad job... THEN, instead of actually forcing my nails, a different woman just put nail glue in the two split nails and added acrylic to the broken tip nail (making it half as long as the rest) and repainted them!!! I had to go to a different shop to have them fixed correctly, therefore forcing me to spend twice as much than I should have had to... NEVER AGAIN!!! Read Less

I've been coming here for a couple of years now. Today was my most frustrating experience. I scheduled my appointments, as I always do. The place was very full and busy. Way more people than the staff could manage. I sat over 40 minutes in cold water waiting. I don't expect to be tended to immediately, but this was pushing up against an hour. People were walking in with unscheduled appointments and being attended to. This was even more frustrating! I'm noticing how busy you all are and keeping this in mind. This is a business and you clearly strive to serve everyone. However, striving to serve everyone comes at a cost. This is the 3rd time I've had services that wasn't quality due to the pressure of the workers to get to everyone! My toe nails are clipped all crooked, they weren't filed and or buffed. My big toes weren't thoroughly cleaned out and are still sore and uncomfortable. Though my appointment was scheduled the worker was telling me they were to busy for me to have the deluxe pedi. What's the point in scheduling ahead if the services you schedule for are attempted to be pushed off because you're filling up with walk ins? I did get the deluxe, that I've had several times, but this was by far the least quality one I've ever had. I felt rushed out. We were told we were all done, but both mine and my daughter's toes were still wet with fresh polish. Sadly my daughter's polish got all scuffed and messed up. Yes I know you were busy and I get that, but cutting corners is not maintaining quality service. It's really disappointing as I loved coming here, but I've given it 3 chances now. I have recommended this place to several people. I feel embarrassed if anyone I have recommended is experiencing this type of service also. I had two previous experiences that were also not that great. People have off days and I don't like to just give up on places. No one can do everything and I feel you strive to hard to serve everyone that you're losing the quality of service you one encompassed. Maybe think about what's realistic to manage. Keep your regular customers and this way they rave about you and refer others to your place of business. Autumn is by far the best worker you have. I have been coming here for nearly two years and after my experience last Wednesday I will not be back. I had already made the decision to stop getting my nails done here (If I'm paying 36 dollars for a fill they should NOT chip after a few days). But they were usually good with waxes, so Wesnesday morning I went in for a brow and lip wax. It was the WORST one I have ever received. The lady was very rough and kept jabbing me in the eyes with her knuckle and when I flinched she said "Oh, sorry my hands are cold." How do you not know you are improperly handling a client? Anyways, as if thats not bad enough, she didnt tweeze excess hairs, trim the length, wipe away excess wax or apply anything like oil or gel afterwards. These are all standard things with an eyebrow wax, and particularly at this salon!! BUT, the main reason I will not be back? Went here 2 weeks ago and even though I made an appt for a time that was 'good for them' we still had to wait 25 minutes to be helped. Went again yesterday with only 1 of my daughters instead of 4 and we were in and out in no time! Hana was amazing and our nails look perfect!Read Less

I saw the great reviews so decided to try this place. I made an appointment for a pedicure but had to wait 15 minutes for a chair. Finally the owner takes me to a chair with an empty soaking bowl. He tells me to put me feet in the tub then starts the water. He asks how it is and I say cold. He adjusts it and says "how now". I lift both feet into the water coming out of the faucet and am scalded. I jerk my feet out and yelled "that's scalding!" He just smirked at me, adjusted it again and said "try again." I let it run a minute then tested it with my hand and it was cold again. After being scalded the cold was all I could take. Then he just walked away. He never even apologized. The girl who did my pedicure - Na - did a very nice job even though my toes were in terrible pain. It's 4 hours after the incident and my toes are still red and throbbing. Although Na did a nice job, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're looking to file a personal injury lawsuit. Read Less

Ive gone here for years and usually love the service. Today's was good but was overcharged, IMHO, inconsistent pricing is very frustrating. Phi, sp could be wrong, is best nail designer for sure. If you want something unique ask for her. I'm going to try another salon, $38 for a basic pedicure and one design on a toe, with gel, seems too much. Last time it was $31. Read Less

I stopped in on a Thursday morning after being recommended by a friend and actually just wanted a manicure but the man suggested I get gel put on instead and so I agreed and then he suggested a color and so I went with a very light color but was very dissatisfied because after three days the gel started peeling and since I was leaving town for a week I actually ended up going somewhere else to be fixed. I used to love this salon and would only go here because they took their time ECT.. Today I went, pretty busy when I showed up but not crazy. The girl that did my nails, started off doing a great job until it got really busy and people were waiting to be helped. She still had to paint my nails, it took her about 5 minutes to do gel on both of my hands and be "done". Pictures of what I showed them I wanted, and pictures of what I actually got will be in the comments of my review. I want to point out I have been here numerous times. I don't live in Olympia, but come regularly. And if I have extra time, I'll stop and get my nails done instead of getting an appt at my normal place. Well yesterday I went into luxury nails. I showed them pictures of what I wanted. I explained no pink, I want them to look natural. During the course of my visit ...I had 3 different technicians. All of which I showed the pictures and explained that I wanted natural, no pink, to. They said no problem. The guy who started my nails was great. Then the girl who came over was rude. She put PINK acrylic on my nails. I stopped her after the first nail and re explained no pink. She got mad and pretty much said "well this is what you are getting". I start getting upset at this point, because obviously I was told they could do what I was wanting, but they were not doing what I wanted. A third girl comes over, I explain to her. She says there is nothing they can do about the pink because that is the color of the acrylic the First Lady put on my nails. I ask them to fix it. They flat out said no. I will never be going back to this place. 45$ wasted and I ended up with disgusting baby doll pink nails (I hate pink and explained this to them before they even touched my nails). Had they just said they couldn't do what I wanted, I would have picked something else. Which is also something I said BEFORE anyone touched my nails. They swore they could do it though. When you walk in the place is beautiful and everyone is welcoming. I was impressed with how many color changing gels there were to choose from. Also one of the best foot messages anywhere with hot stones. I was able to to have my gel manicure done while getting my deluxe pedicure to save time. I have been going here for about 8 years and they are amazing ....They have fully remodeled and it is refreshing to see the new shop you can tell a lot of thought was put into it and the staff here are so friendly. I'm giving 4 start b/c the staff there are so very hard working and very nice. This was my first ever mani/pedi. My daughter took me in to fulfill an old xmas gift of this for me. However, a couple of things ... I have to say that the place is too bright and a bit loud (children crying). I've walked by other salons where the lights are nice and low and comforting. And it was somewhat messy. I had let my nails grow long and they were cut too short. Why? We were offered to upgr...ade to the gel treatment manicure and the colors they chose to match my pedicure were not quite right and did not match my chosen color. When she asked me how it was, I said I thought they should be much blacker but it was okay. I had chosen and VERY dark red, almost black/red with barely a hint of glitter. However, the gels chosen were black and then a bright red glitter over the black and after leaving, the glitter is MULTIPLE colors and I'm not happy at all with the outcome. my family has come here for years and have always felt pampered with professional service. this is not the case for some time. I came in to have acrylic nails removed and the woman who has been there forever tried to rip it off with nippers! I had to raise my voice twice to instruct her to stop and soak, which should have been the first and only way to do this.i was met with hostility and given to someone else. I tried again recently and the same technique was attempted to remove gel from toes, resulting in a brittle ruined toenail. not sure what is going on but they are now hurried and using questionable techniques. with much sadness I am not going back unless it changes Read Less

My daughter and I decided to try a new nail salon in Olympia. I have a very hard time trying to find a place because I seem to always pick very difficult designs. First of all, the staff was amazing! They were VERY interactive and talked to us the whole time. Second, the man who filled my nails was very gentle and did a wonderful job pushing back my cuticles so that the acrylic went all the way to the back of my nail. Last, the lady, PHI, who designed my nails did a wonderful job. I just showed her the picture of what I wanted and she made it look better then the picture. Great great spot good parking and they open early 9:30! I had one of the best foot messages ever including hot stone and Paraffin wax. They removed my old gel then a Gel manicure with design and pedi with amazing message only $53. It's a drive to get here from my home but well worth it and it close to the mall. Love love this spot. The start of the pedicure was quite nice until the woman clipped my big toe and it began to bleed. After multiple attempts of using the blue liquid to stop the bleeding, she tried the glue used for acrylic nails. After twenty minutes and my toe still bleeding I asked for a bandaid so I could be on my way with only nine painted toes.I was charged full price with no hint of an apology. Service here was disappointing! Despite having an appointment, I still waited 40 min for a manicure. Why bother accepting appointments if you don't honor it simply because you're busy? Was happy to receive the owner as my technician thinking she would be one of the more experienced technician. However, she was more concerned with the traffic of people coming in and out than giving me a manicure. She placed a dirty towel in front of me that had someone else's blue nail clippings! When I pointed that out to her, she muttered something under her breath and changed it for a clean towel. She did a sloppy job applying my gel polish. She didn't thoroughly remove my old polish so you can still see the dark pink polish around the new light pink polish. She didn't allow enough time for it soak off so instead she used her cuticle scissors and ripped off the old polish. She cut my cuticle and made me bleed on two fingers! Her sloppy polish application touched the cuticle so now that it's growing out, it's lifting and getting caught in my hair. Will never come back to this salon! First time to this salon and I was pretty impressed. Everyone was friendly and even though I didn't get the exact polish design I wanted (or even close to it) my nails still turned out nice. My daughter got hers done and was really happy with them and my husband said is spa pedicure was better than most he's gotten in the past.
