Went here on Monday 4/30/18 for the very first time. Today is Friday 5/4/18 (so it’s been 4 days) and my nails already look like they need to be filled. My sister and I walked in and were seated right away, I thought “well that’s great, no wait” the lady started tossing sample colors at us to look at while starting on our nails. The tech didn’t speak the whole time but to ask what color I wanted. She rushed filing and filling (took a total of maybe 15 mins) then I was asked to wait for someone else to apply color. After waiting an additional 15 mins another tech came over to polish and asked me what color and the color I chose was unavailable. I opted for a similar color instead. Went to pay and I was told $36 for a fill. I have never paid that much for just a fill, that’s what I usually pay for a new set at my regular salon for the same thing. My sister got a manicure and was also charged $36 and the color she originally chose was also unavailable. Never again!!! I do not recommend this salon, they aren’t very friendly, they are over priced, and don’t have the colors available that you’re offered to chose from, and in the end you’ll need a fill less than a week later 🙄 Read Less

Went in with a ripped pointer fingernail wanting a mani pedi and my manicure on the nail she fixed was a bulge, and the design wasn't what I wanted but it came our okay, the woman couldn't understand much English. Would go again for pedi but if for mani I would ask for a different girl. Called ahead to check availability, went in within minutes because a tech was free. The tech didn’t talk to me, but was being directed on what to do by other staff. When I went back in that afternoon because the nails were a little longer than I wanted (my mistake), a different tech rounded the nails out quickly and unevenly, then told the original tech to repaint the tips. All of the tips are uneven and sloppily done. I had to dry my nails with a fan during the first experience and then under the drying bar the second time. I'll never ever go anywhere else for my nails.. even when we move the drive is way worth it. My nails ALWAYS look good and when i can't decide what to do with them i let them pick and i always love them. The wait was ridiculous when I was there. I got coffin shaped acrylics and the ends are all different widths. Very inconsistent. The thickness is pretty even and good. If they spend more time shaping it would be perfect! I got holo on 4 nails and it is beautiful! but the holo does not cover all of the nail. There is black showing. I LOVE this place. I drive from downtown Tacoma every two weeks to get my nails done. Quality and the price is too good to beat. I've tried multiple salon in Tacoma to achieve the "Pinterest nails" I wanted and no one could do it and they would try them charge me 50*+ for a gel manicure. My husband and I occasionally go to Lacey Nails to get Mani/Pedis and sometimes I'll get gel nails. Today I had a limited amount of time when I stopped by to get a Mani/Pedi. When I entered I noticed there were a lot of people, so I asked if it would be a long wait and was told no. Someone went over and got the footbath ready for me and I sat down. I waited and waited, but after 35 minutes passed, no one had even come over to talk to me. I got out, found a towel, dried my feet off and got ready to leave. There was a man that was as annoyed as I was because he came in at the same time I did and no one had talked to him either. As I was leaving I didn't even know who to address because you don't know who is in charge. I turned and made a blanket statement to many employees and said "I have waited 35 minutes and no one has even talked to me. This is unacceptable." I just went there for the first time because of a co-workers recommendation and im making this my new place. All of the employees were friendly and attentive. They listened to what I wanted but were not afraid to make recommendations. I walked away with a gorgeous faded French set with the perfect shape and thickness. I would highly recommend them. I got my nails done here 5 months in a row now. Mia is amazing she has only been doing this for 1 year but she is so good.She love the seahawks which is great for conversation during a long nail apt.The place has good prices , good customer service. I usually only get manicures like once every other month, and I go to Lacey Nails because it's within walking distance to my home. I'm not very specific for taking care of my nails. As long as they're cut and filed, I'm happy. But it's difficult to also trim my cuticles because of my disability, so that's why I go to Lacey Nails. Whenever I stop in, the nail techs greet me and always ask if I brought my dogs(I walk my dogs in the area and they see me doing that very often). I noticed that the shop has been renovated to look a bit more classy. It's been pretty busy probably because of the renovation. There's wait times to where I'd have to wait 20+ minutes, or I could come in and it'd be nearly empty on certain days. What I do like is their skill. Since I'm disabled, the nail techs would accommodate me and provide a great manicure. Overall, I'll continue with them because of the close proximity and the talented staff. SHELLAC NAILS HERE ARE HORRIBLE!!!!! I am a shellac nail addict who recently moved to the area from up North. This place seemed super busy so figured it must be good! First time here, my gel nails ALL 10 fingers lifted in one week - in the same exact spot, at the bottom. Figured there are a lot of staff members and maybe I got a newbie, so got another gel manicure with another lady, and again..one week later, ALL NAILS LIFTED AT THE BOTTOM ‍‍‍. Waste of money!! I guess I was naive to think I could go anywhere and get an awesome gel mani that would last 2-3 weeks if not more. There may be some employees here that know what they're doing, but I'm not going to keep throwing money at this place in hopes that I find that person. My search continues for my new nail "home". Recently went to this salon and got a manicure & pedicure. Manicure was just ok. Pedicure was sloppy looking and they didn't use callus softener on my heals. Also, I just got a regular manicure with no nail polish and they charged me the same price as if I got polish. Most places charge less for no polish. Will not return to this salon. Read Less

I just can't with this place. It's nice that they're one of the few nail places open on a Sunday but I think they're overpriced, especially for the lack of quality. I got a shellac manicure done and not even three days later, it started to lift! After one week, I had to get them removed because my hair was getting caught in it. Paying $25 (plus tip) for shellac should at least last me two solid weeks! Not to mention, the overwhelming feeling I get when I walk in and you know it's a straight-up business in there! It's obvious they are mainly interested in getting as many people as they can in-and-out and as quickly as possible. Not the relaxing experience I look forward to when getting my nails done. I'm visiting Olympia right now and my poor acrylic nails were in need of some attention. I was pretty much ready to rip them off myself but decided to splurge and get a manicure to ease the pain. From the moment I walked through the door, the employee I was handed off to was impatient and seemed less than pleased. We were making good small talk until things took a turn for the worst...I wanted a regular manicure, not a gel manicure, yikes! When she heard that, she demanded I pay her before she continued on any longer. I got a quick slab of lotion and a rough 30-second massage. Once the quick paint job was done, I was instructed to prop my hands in front of two mini fans. In my head I thought, "hopefully my nails will dry within the next hour". My lucky day, she returned five quick minutes later, ran her hand across my nails and said I was good to go. Who knew miniature turbo fans were so effective. I walked out the door and looked down at her masterpiece to find her "dry test" had made a mess of my still wet nail polish. I debated on whether I wanted to go back in, or just call it quits and start over at home. I put on a brave face and tried to prepare myself for another pleasant encounter. I found my gal amidst the posse of chattering employees and presented the evidence. One employee chimed in saying, "You did that when you got in your car." Wrong answer, never made it to my car. Another assured me it was my fault because I didn't opt for the gel option. All in all, after a terrible touch up, leaving me with clear coat covered fingers, I stood my ground in front of those tiny, turbo fans way past my welcome. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I went there for SNS and they said they would do it then complained the whole time, over charged me and ripped apart my nails. 4 days later and all my nails are breaking down the middle or sides. Never have I been so externely disappointed in a nail salon, wasn't impressed before with how long there shellac lasted but what a poor and sloppy job, I've never felt more rushed. She couldn't even take the time to get the edge at the top of my nail. Somehow managed to do a good flower but I think I could do a better job. This salon was recommended by friends, and I can say I have been absolutely satisfied each time I have been there. My long time spa sold and left me without someone I trusted. I made first appointment at Lacey Nails with name recommended on yelp, not everyone there does both mani/pedis, how I met Nancy. There are so many talented design artists here, Nancy is definitely one of them. I never have to wait, even when I am early, but make appointment anyway.  Always clean, busy pretty steadily, friendly, courteous and from what I see a supportive team of each other. Loved this place when I lived in Lacey! My sister used this place when she lived in Lacey too! Very nice ladies, and they do great work too. There was one specific lady who was fantastic with my younger daughter. They were always great about walkins too. Very clean environment too, and believe me, I looked for things to be wrong! Not sure about the customer who was pissed off about her eyebrows, mine always looked fantastic. I still own my house in Lacey, if I ever move back I will definitely return as a customer. Read Less

My daughter and I enjoy coming here. She talks the technicians ear off and they are always sweet to her. We had a bit of a wait today because we wanted to sit together but they kept us informed the whole time on how long. I haven't been in this place in over 3 1/2 years. I hope their service has improved since then. I would never recommend this place.I've only been in twice for fill-ins. And like I said, it was a few years back. But on my first visit, the acrylic was a little thick. I didn't complain and I even left a $5 tip. The man didn't even thank me, nobody said goodbye, or anything! A couple of weeks went by and I decided to give them one more shot. It was a Saturday and they  had a seat open, they told me to pick a color and sit down. Well, long story short, three different people worked on my nails. The girl who started me saw a (I guess regular) customer of hers and in the middle of filing my nails, just jumps up and starts working on this other lady.
