I have been going to Kim at LA nails for several years.  Never have a problem with my gel nails, stay on, color lasts and lasts.  Love her pedicure's! massage is awesome and she is really good with cleaning around cuticles. Never have a problem getting in as long as I have made appointment. Can say the pedicure chairs not the most comfortable and would like a salon that makes you feel pampered unfortunately no style to this place just very nice ladies that work long hours. Read Less

Worst. Experience. Ever. First off, I grew out my nails for about 3 weeks so I could get a nice manicure, because I absolutely hate acrylics. I showed her a picture of the nail shape I want, because I've have problems communicating that in the past. Then I explained that I wanted it straight on the sides, squared top slightly rounded (like in the picture). She filed them SO short, then filed the sides slanted inward. I had to stop her and tell her I wanted them straight. Another woman came over to help her and she cut the sides into a slant! Then a 3rd woman had to come over and fix it. The 3rd woman explained that they were now too short for what I wanted and said I would have to get acrylics. I told her didn't want acrylics and they weren't short when I walked in. The first woman filed them all the way down to the skin! The first woman came back (which I was not to pleased with) to do my French tip gel. Throughout the manicure she kept swiping the polish off, she even got some in her hair, then she would just paint over it. Which caused thickness and bubbling. Finally, time to pay. The woman informs me that I owe $30. Confused I reread the sign and it states 'Gel polish French tip: $20' So I say "$30? Your sign says $20." The woman takes about a full 30 seconds to reread the sign and asks me to point it out. I do and she goes "oh. Just the polish is $20, the manicure is $12," then she points to the part of the sign where it says 'basic manicure: $12', "so $20 + $12, you actually owe $32" My friend who was with me got a chrome gel polish manicure with acrylics, and hers came out to $40, but they expected me to pay only $8 less for nonacrylics and no chrome. So I tell the woman "under the manicure section it says 'basic manicure: $12' and at the bottom of the list it says 'gel polish French tip: $20' nowhere does it say 'manicure not included' ...what?" Another woman came over to try to "explain" to me why I was wrong; I wasn't. She told me it was $25 plus tip, $30. So I say, "okay. So she said $30, then changed her mind to $32, then you said it's $25, but your sign says $20... which is it?" After calling over several other employees to argue with me and trying to involve another customer to back them up she finally said she'd give it to me for $20. I had been to this location a few months ago and got a $25 pedicure and French gel polish for $20 and I paid $55. Not $55 plus $12. Yasssss! I'm looking for a nail home and I think this is it! Initially, I ended up with a stylist who didn't speak English and I like to talk to the lady who hooking up my set. I'm very specific and I need my nails done right. I guess the manager, Phoun, could see we might have been having a communication issue so she took me on and told me to make appointments with her from now on. I have been looking for a good nail salon. I have tried several. They all lack something. This one is a tie for last along with T Spa Nails.  About half way into the pedi I felt that they were going to skip the parfin wax step, so I reminded them which package I wanted. They seemed annoyed that I had questioned them. I do not speak vietnamese but i could tell they were talking about people and giggling. They were probably even saying snide remarks about me. My nails had gel when I arrived so they tried to pressure me into getting gel even though I had said no several times. While in the middle of putting on my polish, she stopped to go great and convers with some people she knew and then decided to get back to my nails. They didn't even remove all of the gel from my nails, instead they decided to paint over it. I will never find a decent place with a decent price. I will not go back to this place. Read Less

Not great.  Tried LA Nails because my usual place was closed.  Paid $30 for the Deluxe spa package.  I could have saved the money.  The entire service was rushed and not spa like. The massage consisted of poking the tendon on the bottoms of my feet and scratching the back of my calf.  Save your money and go to Fancy Nails! Read Less

I have been going here for over 12 years. Both my daughter and I, at one time would tell you this was the best nail place in town. Not anymore.There was a gal there many years, Nangy that I love she never messed up and if a nail broke within a few days she redid it for free. It was a sad day when I found out she was no longer there. Tried some of the other gals and they talk to each other and nails never come out straight or stay on.Phong  started to do our nails about 4 years ago. I was pretty happy about two years ago  nails weren't staying on well and was having to go back about every 10 days. My daughter wanted to find a new place but I kept saying they will do better boy am I wrong!!!!I went back on 3/8/2016 it was a new set. I get the white nails and still do color. Well this gal did the white tips, but they were not put on straight. she didn't do the filing like the others do and never had me go wash my hands to get them clean, the Acrylic  on the nail is not smooth  then she said  a price but if she did gel a different price. i agreed to the gel but she did a clear coat no color. at that point I was so done. while I was there for 42 min One person came in because she had her nails less than a week and they were coming off. my nails were not cut and trimmed right and not painted. Then when I went to pay they were not able to come up with the change do to me. So she got  way to a big of a tip.That day I came home about 6 hours after I got home. I washed my hands and one of the nails  got caught on the towel ripped in up and tore tone of my skin now its all red and sore.The next morning as I'm washing my hair two more nails started lifting when they got caught in the hair, I am not happy that on the third day I have to go find another shop to get my nails done again. The best place in town.  Been coming here on and off for 15 years now, since I was pregnant with my oldest . They now do her nails too. I love it!!!!!  They always make time for u and never make u feel forgotten about,  last time I went in without an appointment as always lol, I had to wait a little longer than normal so they did a design on my nails to say thank you for being patient which was totally unnecessary, but very appreciated! I don't understand why this place has 5-star reviews. I'm sorry but this place has got to be one of the worst experiences I've had with getting a manicure. First, most of the ladies that work there do not speak good English (if any at all) - which is fine but if you work at a service business, it'd be great if I could at least communicate with you. I asked the lady at the counter why there was no air coming out of at the nail drying station and she simply did not understand me. I have never been to a nail salon where I was told to put my nails under a normal white room light (I didn't even get gel nails...) without a fan attached to it. Needless to say, it did nothing to dry my nails. Second, the moment the lady that was doing my nails took out the tools from what looks to be a sterilizing machine, I regretted even coming into this place. The tools were RUSTY. Two days later, one of my fingers got swollen and I had to put medicine on it. Third, I specifically said that I wanted round nails. She gave me square nails. Then I asked her to fix it. It was still square. Somehow she managed to make my fingers look stubby and chunky.Fourth, they barely have any nail polish color selection. I had to really choose the best of the best in the color range that I wanted. ALSO, the lady did NOT even put a base coat on before putting on the color. The 'top coat' she used on me didn't even have a proper label. My nails literally CHIPPED THE DAY OF my manicure. Should I go further? Don't waste your money. Go elsewhere. Read Less

This place is the best. The women here do such a great job. They take time to clip your nails perfectly and the polish is always on point. I come once a month for pedicures and my polish is only grown out, never chipped and I don't get gel pedis. Cindy and V are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get your nails done here. Read Less

This is my many and pedi place. The girls that work here are super nice and friendly. The owner is always there on top of the business and making sure everything runs smoothly. I have never waited longer than 10-15 min to get a seat. I do gel and regular polish, and they are great at both. Would totally recommend it. Read Less

Went here a couple years back with a friend to get our nails done for the holiday (Halloween) and we told them the designs we wanted but I got something totally different and had to pay $25?! I wanted French manicure but in orange and yellow and some little Halloween designs. The girl just have me some spiders and ghosts on my nails! Never coming back again. Read Less

If you don't mind three of your ten nails looking terrible, go here! If they would slow down and care, they would do good work! Unfortunately that isn't the case! The woman that did my nails was too lazy to take the polish remover to two of my nails so I have glitter polish showing. She didn't have a problem removing the polish from the other eight nails? Then when I pointed out that a tip was crooked, she blamed my nail??? What really happened is that she put the tip on terribly bad but didn't want to fix it. I have been to a few other nail salons and I will have to say this has been the best!  I am hard on my nails and haven't had any lifting. Such a plus! The ladies there are very personable and the other customers were just as friendly. The massage chairs at their pedicure stations were relaxing as well. My first time here I received a fill and they did a excellent job, however I came back for a Pedicure, and I didn't like it. The lady who did it, didn't really give me a full pedicure as far as the massaging. She was very bland. I guess you can say she was "being shy" with my feet and not really putting her all in it. First time in the door. Nail lady who did my new set was very nice and cared what I wanted. She also talked me into waxing my brows. I had not planned on getting a pedicure but she talked me into it. I thought she was going to do it and it was someone else. I was disappointed but did not say anything. The lady that did my feet was not very good at all, I had to ask her to file my toe nails down. When she was done, she did not separate my toes with tissue and the paint job was horrible.
