Usually I love this place. Went in yesterday and asked for a full set with grey fading to black..the lady did absolutely terrible, didnt look anything like the picture I showed her. The black and grey don't fade into eachother what so ever, like 4 of my nails are way crooked and she threw some glitter on top (that I didn't even want) to try to fix it and it looked even worse. I had wanted to get both a manicure and a pedicure, but I came in half an hour before closing, so I only asked to do a manicure. They greeted me promptly and warmly, and when they realized I wanted both my nails and toes done, Theary (sorry if I butchered your name...) was so kind and said that she’d be glad to stay to do both services for me. Originally got here at three they ask me to come back at four they didn't start my nails till 440 and I just got done they were super busy and yet when they got to me they still didn't rush me. This place does an AMAZING job, better than any other salon in the area. I have bitten nails and they are very short, so I have been trying to find a place that can do acrylics for me so I can break the habit. Other places either caused me to bleed, fell off in a few days and were very rude. But this place took care of me! They put lots of time and care into my nails, and on occasion asked if I was okay or if I was in any pain. Terry, the one who did my nails, was so gentle and sweet, and talked to me! Most places ignore you or chat with co-workers, but she actually talked with me . Not only that, the nails they did lasted! Even with my short nails, her craftsmanship was long lasting. When I had one fall off because I work with my hands a lot, she did a complimentary fix that day. They guarantee their work and are more than willing to fix them! This is my go-to place for getting my nails done. I can't honestly say I've ever experienced truly exceptional service at any nail salon so this is about as good as it gets in this particular industry, I think. A regular pedicure with none of the add ons is $18. She spent a good long time massaging my feet and lower legs which was much needed. The place is pretty small and can feel crowded when it's full but I think those who come here are regulars so we are all used to it. Theary is my favorite and I try to get her to my nails whenever I come in but she's always in high demand. All the other girls have been fine though. They don't try to make much conversation with me which I actually appreciate a lot because I am not a fan of making awkward small talk while someone is doing something for me and I'm stuck without being able to leave to escape the conversation. They have a giant selection of gel colors and a decent sized selection of regular polish as well. I keep coming because there really is nothing to complain about here. Read Less

I want to give absolute props to this salon. I had such an amazing experience the staff was super friendly. T did an amazing job fixing what another salon had messed up on my nails.  My nails were done perfectly. My moms pedicure was on point too. $38 for a full pedicure with gel is a great price! I have been to California Nails for almost 10 yrs. the staff is friendly remembers people's names and likes. And gets to work upon your requests immediately.I am picky, asked recently if I am their worst customer. Phon, who manages, trains, guides staff said "not bad you want what you like and we try to give you what you like. Phon is the best professional nail, cosmetician maybe ever. Her work is perfect.
