I live in Seattle but was traveling to see family down south. My fiancé was getting his phone upgraded and I had time to kill so I looked around the area and found AM Nails right across the street. Having never been there before, I was just going to get a gel manicure and call it a day. I saw a display they had that had an amazing 3-D flower design on it with ombré color I just had to have! Tony, my nail technician, absolutely did the best job I've ever had in my whole life!!! I can't say enough good things about him. He was friendly, took his time and I could really tell he cared about making my nails look their best. I HIGHLY recommend him! Even if you don't live close, make the trip! You will not regret it! I never get my nails done, but on a whim I went to Am Nails and showed the gentlemen a picture and got exactly what I wanted!!! I was a little surprised on the price but I definitely got what I paid for, and he told me about the price before he started! I will continue to go to Am Nails whenever I need any nail services. Nice and clean atmosphere, very professional. The staff are skillful artists who really care about the quality of product they create. I've gotten acrylic nails many times and always had the same couple issues: 1. I have a crooked finger and was never able to find someone who could shape my nail without accentuating it more. The woman who shaped my nails noticed it right away and paid extra attention to the shape of my fingers, and they're PERFECTION!2. I cannot grow out my natural nails. I have a genetic type of nails that are naturally thin and brittle, and they always crack/break off. I've always disliked how thick acrylic nails can be, it feels very unnatural. She understood my needs and designed my nails to be thin. They're feel like natural strong nails and I'm in love! Hands down this place is my new favorite nail salon! Read Less

Got a deluxe Pedicure today. It was very relaxing, involved and soothing. The polish looks great as well! Only $35 for a foot soak, leg/foot scrub, foot wax, leg/foot lotion massage, hot stone rub & probably some other stuff I don't remember during the relaxing process! I highly recommend. Read Less

I got my nails done tonight at AM Nails. I'd never been there before and there were next to no places open after 5. I arrived only minutes from closing and they had helped me within ten mins even though they were closing soon. The girls there are so nice and very knowledgeable. I got a full set of French tip acrylics. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and gave me the look I was going for. I got them thin and she said no problem. Most places I've been tell me they can't. The thing that really sold me was watching the staff put their nail tools in an autoclave right in front of me. Went in tonight for a acrylic nail take off and a shellac mani and pedi.  Pedicure went "ok".  She messed up painting my nails, but it wasn't that bad so I didn't say anything.  Then, when she was taking my nails off, she didn't soak them off like I asked her to.  She peeled them off and in the process, broke on of my nails down soo low, it stared bleeding.  There wasn't really any point getting a manicure now.  And when I mentioned that, they argued with me saying that I should have waited longer for the acrylic to grow out.  It had already been 3 weeks!  I will most definitely not be going back!  Overpriced for the quality of work done here too. Came here for a pedicure with my girlfriend and was greeted with warm smiles and happy tones. They made sure the water was absolutely perfect before starting. They were detail oriented and took their time. We have gone to other places and it felt like they were trying to get us out as fast as possible. These people seemed like they enjoyed having us and kept a pleasant conversation going the whole time. The music was nice as well. The massage chairs were strong too. They seemed to knead my sore muscles better than most other chairs too. It could just be that I am more sore today than usual though. We will be coming back. Read Less

I am obsessed with this place! I've been here twice already and each time my acrylic nails looks perfect. I like them short and "natural" and they have done a great job both times. This place let me tell you this place! The first time I tried it I wasn't sure but I have gone back and love th nail service!! They take great care of you and do what they can to stay on trend and offer the best styles out there. They have different versions of pedicures you can choose from. Wow!  Just... great experience all around. The shop is tiny and only has 2 parking spaces but you can park in the Safeway parking lot and walk. It is right next to the Safeway gas.  Tony was my technician and he did a great job. He was thorough, took his time, and explained to me up front that my holo nail was going to be a bit more expensive. I stumbled upon this by chance it was Memorial Day and later in the evening so I yelped around and found one that had good ratings and still open. I decided to venture away from my usual nail place, I feel in the last year my old nail place has been lacking in their services and I've notice my Gel Nail polish starts peeling within a week and a half of wearing it. I do try and take care so that they don't peel like using gloves when washing dishes and such.       Well it's been 14 days since getting my nails done here at AM and although my nails have grown out a little my polish hasn't peeled so I'm very happy about this and will return the nail tech told me If it chipped or peeled within 5 days to come back and they will fix it for free. I went to AM Nails back in April. Right before moving to Anchorage. All I have to say is WOW! I stopped going to my regular nail salon and started coming here. The staff is very friendly and professional. My chrome nails were absolutely beautiful. I constantly got compliments on them. Since moving to Anchorage, I have yet to find a nail salon that can do Chrome Nails the way AM Nails can. Read Less

I drive nearly an hour every 2-3 weeks to get my nails done with Kayla. I am a busy wife and mom who works full-time, but Kayla is so good at her job that I find it's worth my while to make the trek. I've tried salons closer to home and I end up with uneven nails that lift and/or break. I live about an hour away and fight I-5 traffic every two weeks to drive to this nail salon in Lacey because Kayla is the very best nail tech who has ever lived. I first started going to her 4 years ago at a salon in Bonney Lake. When I moved to Gig Harbor from Bonney Lake, I made the trek to continue with her. I've tried other people closer to home and there is just no comparison. My nails are perfect EVERY TIME! They never lift, they never chip. Came here for the first time ever, last week. They were pretty close to my job and i figured why not. It wasn't very busy, so i got right in. The guy who did my nails (i can't remember his name, i think it started with a T) was extremely detailed and he was very patient with me when i had to take a phone call from work that was important. I love my nails. Only gave 4 stars because when i sat down, i noticed nail clippings all over the work space and i feel they probably should have cleaned them up or swept them off before bringing another customer to that particular station. Love it!!!I've been sharing pictures of my polish for a couple of months now on their Facebook page. I have never been as happy with a nail salon as I am with AM Nails!  I'm a girl that certainly loves her polish and I pay close attention to detail!  All of the photos that I have shared have been hand painted by Annie on my natural nails.  The only thing that ever ruins my polish is my own nail growth and I am exceptionally hard on them!  I can't rave enough about this place and I hope that by sharing my words and continuing to share my pictures with everyone that their business will continue to grow and do well!  They all deserve it!
