While nail specialists in this establishment are awesome because they don't gossip in different languages about you, they did miss a small portion of my toe nail when painting it. They also commented on the amount of cuticles they had to cut out (which didn't make me feel that great).We walked in to the establishment and asked for 3 mani's and pedi's which they could not accommodate. Average service. Pricing was pretty good, $25 for a pedicure with a leg scrub and lotion, and hot stone massage. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years And I can honestly say this is the worst nail place I have ever been too and I have been to a lot of places. I called to make an appointment for a fill and a pedicure. The guy who answered on the phone said he only had time for a pedicure but I could come tomorrow for both. and I said I will find another place because I more so needed my nails done and to have them done that night. And he insisted that I come in and he will do ...both for me. I started with a pedicure first which was decent but not very good. The paint was messy and didn't come to edge of my nails. Then I went to get my nails done and the guy noticed i had some nails coming up and said I needed to have them all redone. So he starts making phone calls and acting very rude and frusterated with me now that he had to stay longer to do a full set and to remove my nails. He didn't even remove them the proper way with acetone; he just started ripping them off with clippers and it hurt really bad. I told him I wanted my nails long just as they were before when i came in and thought he understood exactly what I wanted but when he was finished they were so short like as short as my finger tip and the polish was messy and didn't go to the edge of my nail. He didn't match me with the correct nail size and he filed them crooked. $70 later and It was already late and they were closed, so I said nothing and went home and showed my husband. Even he said they looked awful. I called in the morning and complained to a lady who said I could come in and get them redone so I thanked them and came in to have redone. And the man who did my nails was there again and he rudley glared at me and told me I would have to pay and extra $10 to have them done long the way I wanted? What? I told him no way will I pay an extra $10 it was a matter of filing them no doing anything special. He was rude and shouting at me and rolling his eyes at me and not making any sense and walked away from me to another customer and it was silent and awkward the whole time. Luckily another girl did my nails who was much sweeter. I was so unsatisfied with my nails and the customer service I recieved I will never go there again or recommend anyone go there. Had shellac manicure and showed them color I wanted but they didn't understand me. Went home and within 3 hours my nails were chipping. Shellac nails should last about 2 weeks but it only lasted 3 hours. It's so inconvenient that I have to go back and redo. Waste time and gas. Won't go back. Their website advertises 25% off of waxing services on Wed and Thursday, specifically on two pages of their website. I had to argue with the owner and show him the website on my phone and he grudgingly gave me the discount. Also beware, they claim the prices posted on their website are "start at" prices and can go up from there without them telling you first. Not only are they the most professional and gracious nail salon in the Mukilteo area, the staff is so kind! Tom, the owner is a great guy. Went in there late in the day yesterday and they got me in and did a beautiful job. I then left my brand new MK wallet stuffed with cash and credit cards there and did not know it at the time. They move you out so fast there's no time to relax. So if you're in a rush it's perfect. I like to relax a bit. I hate having a manicure on the arm of the pedicure station chair. Awkward. I am disappointed in a business that has a discrepancy in prices between their website and in person. They would not grant me the price I verified over the internet when I booked the appointment over a month ago. They argued saying the web host hasn't updated their prices, but a 20.00 difference in price is alot in this time. I said I have no problems paying the increase if that was in fact the price that was reflected on their website as well - I confirmed as of yesterday the price and it was still 125.00. I only made a point they need to update prices in the website, but instead said there is nothing they can do and left it at that. They did not offer another solution or even say that they will fix the issue, they made me feel like an idiot as a consumer and i could have gone to any other salon but I picked them. I would like to file a complaint of bad advertising which cost the consumer more money than they expected and poor customer service. Attached is there website advertising for the Prom package for 125.00 when in their shop is 145.00. This situation makes me feel unhappy on a day for my daughters prom day. It is out right disrespectful and horrible to the consumer to take their money and not offer any solutions. I paid them their money and I actually left a 20.00 tip for the people who did my daughters whole package, but to feel like I spent 170.00 on something that they didn't see my point was heartless and bad business.....05/13/12 checked their website- they updated their price on senior prom- a day too late!!!!!
