Went here because of the glowing Yelp reviews... meh. It's not bad, but it's not good. It's a very standard Vietnamese nail salon with some techs that are obviously more skilled than others. Note that other reviews mostly praise Abby and Julie-- unfortunately, neither worked on my nails. When I first walked through the doors, it was very "norm". Greeted with, "Hi, how may I help you?" followed by, "Pick a color".The woman next to me was balancing a UV nail lamp in her lap while one tech worked on her pedicure and another worked on her manicure. They were chattering to each other in Vietnamese and randomly acknowledging the woman with a few English words here and there.I hate getting manicures done in the pedicure chair, and it wasn't even crowded. To top it off, the tech working on my manicure accidentally cut me. HARD. I understand we make mistakes, so I brushed it off and assured her I wasn't mad. At first. She cut me so bad that blood was literally pooling up in my nail bed and covering the whole thing. She kept dabbing at it with a paper towel and applying a blue liquid on the wound. Not only did it burn like crazy (To be expected), but there was so much blood she was getting it on the brush and consequently dipping my blood back into the bottle. Hahahaha, so gross!!!This blood/blue liquid dipping went on for a while, when I finally asked her to leave it alone and please just give me a bandaid. She said "Okay, I'll help you" and proceeded to put nail polish (A clear top coat, specifically) on the cut. This is when I finally got mad-- clearly, putting more and more junk on the cut was not helping. Not only was it painful, but I cringed at the thought of other people's blood possibly mixed in their polishes.Anyway, when she finally got me a band aid, instead of covering the cut with the gauze portion, she covered it with the sticky part!! Oh my goodness... I re-applied the bandaid myself and she continued with my manicure. She insisted on putting polish on my abused nail so I finally just let her.You guessed it, she made sure to put extra nail polish on the cut, and did not offer any sort of apologetic discount. I didn't bother asking for one, and didn't want to waste my energy having to negotiate some sort of compensation. I just wanted out of there, ASAP!Long story short, I would have rated this place a 3 for being a very standard nail salon. I dropped it to a 1 due to literally seeing my blood get mixed into one of the nail polish bottles. Accidents happen, but being insanitary with shared products is not acceptable. Read Less
