Today was my first time visiting and I immediately loved it! Not only was the place calming, but I became very educated on their color that has no harmful chemicals in it. The ingredients are all organic and plant based. It doesn't burn like the color we might be used to, and there's no strong smell. This is one of the best nail places that I have ever visited. Their atmosphere gives a calm feeling as their soothing beach music is played in the background. I have been to see Bella four times, now. The first time, I went with my mom-in-law, around 2 years ago. I don't get a pedicure often enough, but when I do, I love coming here! Bella is so sweet and personable, and she takes her time. She has never cut me or made a single mistake, and my toenails always look terrific. Plus, she does everything right so that they last. She also gives you a wonderful foot and leg massage. But best of all, she is fun to talk to and takes the time to be friendly and chat with you, even while she is focused on her work. Other salons may do good nails, but Bella makes you feel pampered. The only possible down side is that it's just her, so you need an appointment. I've been having Ginny cut my hair since this past December. I'm one of those people who constantly want to try a new hair style. All I do is find a style in a magazine that I like - I bring it in to show her - we throw around some ideas about it - and I walk out of her shop every time with a hair cut that is gorgeous and easy to style. People are always asking me who cuts your hair? I'm in my late 50's and have always been a blonde. Over the years, the blonde has turned... mousey and a few grays have popped up. I told Ginny I was going to put her to the test and have her color my hair - not a trashy blonde - but a blonde that turns heads. Again, she did a fantastic job. No matter if I'm looking in my bathroom mirror, my car mirror or a dressing room mirror.....it always looks soft and natural. She's a real pro and her shop is small and relaxing. I went to Bella Nails and Spa to get my eyebrows waxed. Now, I understand that this is not a place that specializes in eyebrow waxing, but I did not expect to come out with butchered eyebrows. I specifically communicated that I did not want my eyebrows thin and when I walked out of that waxing room, I came out with blatantly asymmetrical eyebrows that were pencil thin.On the same day, I made my boyfriend get his first pedicure. Bella is amazing! She's super friendly and sweet. She's been doing nails for 20 years, and she will spend as much time as necessary to make your nails look perfect. Bella Nails is probably one of the most relaxing pedicures I've ever received.  The shop is clean, inviting and they have always accepted me on a walk-in basis.  You never feel rushed.  I've always wanted to get a facial here as I've heard they are really great.There is plenty of parking in the lot and the shop is very easy to find.  I'd go here more if I was still working in the Everett/Mukilteo area.My mom loves this shop so I always make sure to get her a gift certificate for Mother's day or for Christmas.  Bella goes the extra mile to make sure the gift certificate is packaged to look like an actual gift instead of your standard "card".
