I used to go here years ago. Quit as life demanded more than treating myself well. I occasionally went to other places, and they were subpar, didn't fulfill expectations. I went here today, for my birthday. I was treated very well, my nails and toes are stupendous, and a nice wax shaped up my brows. Outstanding! A friend of mine recommended T&T to me last week so I thought I would check it out over the weekend. Her recommendation came with a couple of warnings: 1. having an appointment doesn't mean anything. She called ahead and was told they could take her right away (which they did) but then as she was having her nails done others came in that had appointments but were turned away and told to come back at a later time (kinda strange). I decided to hedge my bets and showed up at opening on Saturday morning. I was the only one in there for a good 20 mins and by then I was almost done with my shellac manicure and pedicure. 2. great prices but you get what you pay for. can't beat a $20 shellac manicure but it's also not the best I've ever had. the pedicure was good and comes with wax paraffin. The ladies are all very friendly, too!I'll definitely be going back to T&T, they're nice and cheap so as long as you're not super picky it's a great spot for a cheap mani! Read Less

I'm very impressed. My toes have some problems & my provider took the time to earn an extra tip and I didn't have to ask. Others were getting the same detailed care and everyone was well greeted. Next time, I'm paying an extra $25 for an hour long pedicure with massage! Thank you!! Now, a couple weeks later, I've returned and discovered just how seriously these people take their business and their customers' well-being. Tools are clean here. They use an autoclave tip clean their huge collection of precise tools. They took care of my toes and relieved my plantar fasciitis. In business 20 years, I'm told and they know what they're doing! ALWAYS the BEST service and best results for manicure, pedicure, acrylic nails, gel, shellac, etc. They also know how to properly deal with ingrown toenails, foot fungus, etc... pretty much anything you can throw at em. They do it all. I've been going there about 13 years. Same owners, family owned, mostly same staff the whole time. Very fast. Excellent quality work. CLEAN. They make you feel welcome, remember you and your name, your stories, your prefs. They're always busy. They will accommodate walk-ins, but I highly recommend making an appointment anyway. It's my all-time FAV place for a pedi. The massage chairs for pedis are marvelous! They'll offer to finish your pedi with Tiger Balm. If you've never tried it... do it! It makes happy feet! I used to get acrylic nails there when I was a waitress. (No more cuz I went into healthcare- where acrylics are a no-no.) They were the ONLY ones who could make my nails good and strong enough to withstand most daily abuse. Prices are about the same- maybe a tad higher- than other nail salons, but they are WELL worth it. I went through many different nail salons before I found TT Nails. I've stuck with them ever since. The nail artists were nice and all but as soon as the lady started cutting my cuticles almost every one of my fingers were bleeding and she still made me pay full price... $30 for some shiny nail polish and bloody fingers that were still stinging for the past 2 days. Never going back. Read Less

I've been getting my nails done for 20 years now. I've written many reviews about various shops I've tried and I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. This was one of the bad. The people working there are nice enough but the lady who did my fill BUTCHERED my fingers. Out of 10,5 of them were bloody by the end of it thanks to her overzealous filing. My mom had a similar experience so this place has been taken off the list of places we'll go. Read Less

I will give credit for the end result of my mani-pedi, but I wasn't so pleased with the rushed service. My first time in using my Christmas gift certificate. I was tag teamed. The manicurist kept having me cross my hand over to her. File shavings all over my black pants. I had shellac done, and had to do the cross over for every layer and dryer rounds. She never spoke to me, except to instruct my hand position in the dryer. The pedicurist was definitely more personable. She used my name as she directed me. But the service was still very rushed and not very relaxing. At one point she turned on the massage chair. 2 minutes later the manicurist has me turn it off, leaving it mid massage and most uncomfortable for continuing to do the cross over thing. The only good thing is that my nails look very nice. I will probably use the remainder of my Christmas gift and not return after that. Read Less

The customer service at this salon is impeccable! Came in for a manicure and Judy took care of me. When they heard I was waiting on my fiance to finish at the texting center next door, they put me in a massage chair and told me to relax for as long as I wanted. So kind and welcoming! I've honestly been getting my nails done in the Lynnwood/North Seattle are since I was 16 years old. I've tried many shitty places & only a few were good enough quality to come back. I am pleasantly surprised by T T Nails. They're EXTREMELY sweet and genuine, I've never been to a nail salon that was so sweet. I had a couple left over nails I tried taking off but couldn't because they were done so shitty from my ex regular salon. My nails were badly damaged and EXTREMELY thin. I warned her and she was very sweet and gentle. She was also very fast and efficient. Not to mention me & my gf were both like 15-25 min late (we drove separately) and when I called to say I was in traffic they were thankful for the heads up. And they were very fast but didn't rush and still did a great job which I totally appreciate because I hate when it takes a nail salon 3 hours to give me a fill. Afterwards the owner of manager came up to me & my gf and talked to us and welcomed us back. I think I'm definitely going to come back and might have found my new favorite nail salon !! Read Less

My friend and I get our nails done together all the time and this is typically where we have to go because it's closest. I'm so sick of them putting horrible designs on my hands and when I ask them to clean up or just paint over it they treat me like a horrible person and ask me to pay a ridiculous amount of money. If you can't do designs don't try. It would save me and the nail tech the headache of arguing. Offering a half ass service is not the way to have a good business. Plus every time they cut my nails and cuticles they rub my finger tips raw and cut my hands up. I'd say 50% of the time we go here I have a horrible experience. Don't treat me like a criminal when I ask you to do YOUR JOB the way it should be done. I work at a financial institution and this would be like me depositing someones money to someone else's account just because I don't care and then when being called on it argue and fight saying it's the customers fault. I have a gift certificate, anyone interested in buying it off me? I don't even want to spend gift money here anymore. They are out of chances with me. NEVER GO HERE! Read Less

I've been going here for a few years. They are so sweet and impressively know pretty much everyone's name when they walk thru the door. I see Nini for my nails and she does a great job on my gel fill. Every once in a while I get a pedicure and I love the tiger balm rub they do!! Heaven! (As someone else mentioned yes, they do ask first) All the ladies are nice and welcoming. They will talk to you as much as you like, or let you sit and relax. Went here with a girlfriend for manicures. She got that gal who seemed to be in charge who was very nice and communicative asking how she wanted things done and did a great job. My manicure started 20 minutes later when my gfs was almost done,  even though we booked appts. My girl never have me her name.  It was THE WORST manicure I've ever had in my life. I got a full set of acrylic gels which I've had several times in my life previously. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain and the gal was so rough when pushing back my cuticles I was forcing back tears. She made almost every single one of my cuticles bleed! Then she put some sort of chemical on that made my fresh cuticle cuts sting so bad that I actually cried out "ow!".The rest of the manicure was equally painful. She was so aggressive and then had the nerve to keep telling me to relax my hands while I was clearly wincing in discomfort.On top of this,  a couple nails were put on crooked and it was fairly expensive compared to other places I've been, even in downtown Seattle!The damage she did on my cuticles actually CAUSED me to have a series of hang nails and ripped cuticle skin tears over the following 2 weeks!  It was pure torture.  Please don't go here unless you want to take your chances on getting this girl and a similar experience. I started going to TT many many years ago, then moved across the country and have found myself back with TT again!  They are so friendly and I love how they remember your name!   I mean seriously.. they remembered me after almost 7 years!  They do great charity work as well.  Every time I have a great experience.  I have tried other places, but TT really is the best.  Very CLEAN too!  The owner does a great job at managing her store and it really does show. I went in there for acrylic nail tips with a gel coat for $37. The price was not bad considering, but the service was sub par. I had Nini do my nails, and she was as rough on them as they come. She did them without much care and treated my nails as though she just wanted to get them over with. She actually cut my pinky finger while filing my nails, and when I told her I was bleeding she put nail glue on them to "fix" the cut. I asked for round nails and she made them uneven, which she did not even notice until I asked her to fix them. After the manicure my nails hurt all around and were very sensitive, and I know it's not normal because I've had them done elsewhere for less with a better result. I would not recommend this place. Top service here!  Couldn't be happier!I'll start by saying I was completely desperate one Sunday (they are closed Sundays!) because I was relatively new to the area and had basically been using all the wrong nail salons!  I have had acrylics and gel nails for years but the local salons had truly damaged my nail beds by all the drilling.  Well, one of the gals welcomed me in and gave my nails some TLC to where 6 months later, there was absolutely NO damage to my nails!!  Yes I know nails grow out.  But I'm saying the processes are much more friendly and I've never been happier!!The girls are always so friendly and love to show you all the options.  They really do pull no stops.  I drive all over and so eventually I found another salon I liked.  Well, the polish from there didn't last nearly as long but I loved the colors they had so I kept going back intermittently.  Well I mentioned this to the girls at TT because I was just being honest that their shellac colors, while very high quality, were on the boring side with the color options.  I came back a month later and they added more colors!!  I love it when a business listens to their customers.  That kind of improvement will be competitive for a gal who drives all over greater seattle and, while loyal, will do business based on many different factors.  This very well impressed me and I've been totally convinced that I'm going to the right place!  It's not a full-blown spa experience.  But you do get very friendly ladies, other nice patrons (I've even done business with other gals who sat next to me getting our nails done at some point!), fantastic quality of work, and all the options for nail color you could ask for!  I highly recommend.
