I went in for a fill when my regular place was closed for the day. I went in with perfectly shaped, smooth nails... left with oddly shaped lumpy nails. This was done by the Owner (man). Hideous! Unfortunately I didnt have my readers with me so didnt realize how ugly they were until too late!!! Do NOT recommend for acrylics. No no no, they do not seem to have a clean process! I came here to have shellac removed thinking it was goof proof... wrong! There were 4 pedi chairs open and 3 out of 4 mani stations open, not busy at all and plenty of staff. I'm told where to sit and I wait and wait. Finally a gal come over and starts using a clearly very well used nail file on top of the shellac. Gross but I tell myself it's not my actual nail so maybe (?) it's ok? As she is doing this she attempts to rip the shellac off... umm I can rip it off at home! She gets 4 fingernails "removed" with this cutting edge technique then does the other nails the correct way. Cotton, acetone, and time. So much time! She left me for almost 20 minutes. No one would make eye contact with me. FINALLY one of the does and I hold up my hands saying "I think it's done?" She looks away and ignores me. As other reviews say, at no point in time do any staff try to chat with me. They are speaking in Vietnamese the whole time contentedly ignoring the few customers in the shop. No music, just listening to them and assuming they are complaining about the customers. She finally comes back and removed the cotton and nearly every nail had the polish almost off. Typically they need to scrape but the acetone was on so long it cane sliding off and the first layers of my nail likely went with it. Then she quickly buffs them using a very clearly well used buffer. There is quite a bit of shellac polish remaining on the edges and ends but I am so frustrated and grossed out I yell "thank you I'm going to wash my hands" and the scrub them like there is no tomorrow praying I don't get a fungus. $10 later and the first time in my LIFE I didn't tip, I go home and scrape the rest off myself. I will not be back. I hope it was just an off day, they have many positive reviews. These ladies do an awesome job! The few times I've been there I was able to schedule an appointment with ease and they took me right in. It's a clean, professional business and the technicians there are very nice. I've had my dipped powder manicure on for a week now and it still looks like I just got them done! The only constructive feedback I have is that the smell on nail products is a bit overwhelming when you walk in. But I'll definitely make this my home nail salon! Read Less

This place is amazing. The owners are so nice and they always do a great job. Sometimes there's quite a wait, but it's so so worth it (can also be avoided by making an appointment). My mom, my 2 sisters and I won't go anywhere else. They also have competitive pricing. They charge around what other places do in the area but they are so much better. I highly recommend! Read Less

Been going to here for a while with my daughter to get our nails done, recently the service is getting worse as my nails are chipped within 24hours and it is shellac. The focus is more on making money than customer satisfaction. Kim overcharged me recently and when I enquired why she said that was the price. Yes. Classy Nails is my new favorite spot! My friend recommended I go here, specifically for the manicure and massage from technician, Moon. I was very hesitant to leave my usual nail salon but I was tired and sore and willing to try something new. I am so happy I did. Moon truly is wonderful, my nails look great but she also rubbed my neck and back with great attention to my knots and rough spots and truly relaxed me. I got a pedicure too and didn't catch the technician's name but she also was amazing, in fact, when I looked down at my toes pre-polish I remember thinking that they have really never looked that good! Again a wonderful massage and perfect polish application. Kim did my eyebrow wax and also was great! This spot is easy to get to and I actually love the inside too, the big skylight and nature light makes it feel classier (see what I did there?) than most nail salons and it was very clean. Every single person working was so kind to me! I will be back! I noticed other reviewers mentioning they speak in another language to each other but....that's pretty par for most nail salons not to mention I don't go there to converse with anyone while I'm relaxing anyway so it doesn't bother me at all, I'm just so grateful to them all for how they made me feel! Came in for a full set and the same day all my nails began cracking and breaking. It was disappointing I had a wedding to go to and had a chipped nail the whole time. First experience of my acrylic nails breaking so quick. I loved the shape and the end result I liked but they did not last me more than a day. Read Less

This location is not hygienic, I saw them use dirty scrapers (which aren't allowed in Washington) and old/ used foot brushes (which looked like they came from the dollar store). My feet itched and burned after getting a pedicure here.Also I received a shellac manicure at the same time, when I asked for a bond (typical first step in shellac or gel manicure) as a first coat I was yelled at by the owner. Surprise surprise my shellac manicure and my friend's shellac manicure have chipped after two days, since they didn't put a bond on and didn't add a liberal top coat.To top off the experience, she over charged us on purpose, $70 for a mani-pedi and a foot rash? Very rude ppl they do a very good job but are rude to u. I brought my 10 year old daughter n to get her nails painted n she's never had her nails painted and a nail salon before and when they told her where to sit and she handed in their nail polish she handed it to the wrong person and they started talking in their language laughing and did not talk to her the rest of the time we were there they did not talk to me they are very rude they do a good job on your nails though but not a family-friendly Place definitely not good with children Read Less

I have been coming here off and on for many years (I grew up in the area, moved away for college, then moved back to my hometown) always great service. The 4 stars is because they do like to speak in their foreign language a lot and it can be uncomfortable. Overall, I really like their attention to detail. I typically get a shellac manicure. The reason why I gave them 2 stars is because of the service . Now I know going to a salon where the technicians don't speak English can be a bit tricky not to mention that you're also putting yourself in an uncomfortable situation since all they do is speak in their native language and you sit there wondering what the hell they're saying and if they're talking about you. But the lady who did my nails did indeed speak english, yet the whole 1.5-ish hrs that I was there, she never once tried to engage in conversation. Didn't ask how I was doing, nothing of the sort. She and the other technicians just spoke amongst themselves the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. which was why I felt compelled to write a review. I just thought "how rude." I know most salons are the same situation, but the few that I've been to, they try to chat with their cilents even a little.. But to not be acknowledged at all? How rude. definitely robotic-like service. Also, their massages are painful. They call that a massage? Thought she was taking her anger out on me the way she was beating on my legs and feet. Great place close to home. I had a full set of acrylics white tip yesterday and they are beautiful. I have not had them in awhile so my nails are a little sore. The tech was great, good conversation but knew when to let me relax. Everyone was busy but I  did not have to wait long. They changed their hours to accommodate clients. I had been going to this salon for about a year. The last visit was not so pleasant. I went in for a gel mani/pedi. While in the middle of my pedicure a young gal came up and started in on the mani, it felt like a production line....not relaxing at all. She was super quick, and did a really shotty job. For instance while pushing back the cuticles she barely even touched some of the nails. Then when it came time to shaping I asked for square, but a little rounded at the edges...what I ended up with was really weird looking, one of the nails was lopsided but they were done so short that there was no saving them. Then came time for the gel. She did one coat of the white, and numerous times bumped them having to redo them. Then she didn't let them cure long enough, only one round in the light...she said that was enough. At the end she massaged one hand, then when the other one was done she booted me out the door because another customer walked in. Needless to say the cure time was not enough and they promptly started cracking and looking like crap. When it came to the point that I couldn't take it anymore, I went down to the Splash Nail Bar and found myself a new place to get nails done. One where they actually take the time to do a good job...and they were even cheaper than this place! While the sanitation process here seems good, the service has gone down in my book and I will not be going back, which makes me sad because I like the convenience...but I'll drive the extra 3 min to get to the SNB. I absolutely LOVE this place!! I go there every month. I always ask Kim to do the most detailed designs on my nails for the theme of the month, (halloween, christmas).. They have a small selection of nail polish to choose from, but otherwise no complaints here! The pedicure massage chairs look brand new and are the best I've come across in ANY nail salon both in the greater Seattle area and in New York. Most  pedicure massage chairs only have massaging features for your back. These ones actually manage to massage your legs too! It feels great on my IT bands. The place itself is not fancy and a little cluttered, but it's clean (or maybe having lived in NY for 3 years, my standard for "clean" has been lowered... eeek! No, I don't think that's the case). I come here for the pedicure. They do a great job and the pedicure comes with an awesomely long and relaxing massage... *sigh* paradise. My sister comes here all the time, so we always get great service and we never have to wait because we usually come during the day. They do accept credit cards, but they charge 50 (or 75) cents. I have been going to Classy Nails for several years now.  At first I loved it.  The spa like chairs are comfortable and the service was excellent.  They added some new chairs and even though they are busy, I have never had to wait. Last year I would have given them 4 stars.  The service has changed and they have added new staff.  I have a pedicure monthly.   In the past 3-4 months the service has been iffy at best.  One time I felt like I was on an assembly line.  One person seated me and set me up in the chair.  Then after-a-while a very young woman - teenager maybe - took off my nail polish.  Then after awhile another person did the manicure, then the owner put on the nail polish.  Twice I had a older woman - sorry she's not that old - just most of the women who work there are very young - do my pedicure.  She was fine - very very slow and methodical.  Then the last time I had another very young woman do my pedicure.  My guess is she was just licensed.  I have seen her hanging around and talking on her cell phone in the past.  She's very cutesie and maybe in her late teens.  It was an awful experience.  My pedicure was actually painful.  I am on Yelp now looking for another place to get my monthly pedicure.  I hate to leave them because it is around the block from my house, but the service is not dependable. I've been coming here for almost three years. The owners are lovely, their staff is friendly, and the place is clean. They know me, they always ask me how my son is doing, and I appreciate the fact that every time someone comes through the door, they greet them with a friendly smile and a greeting.My ONLY gripe is that they don't use a new nail file and buffer block for every customer. They do sanitize the metal tools, which is reassuring, but I don't like the idea that a nail file that was used on someone that might have a fungus was then used on me. There's no way to sanitize those things, but nail files and buffer blocks are cheap, and their prices aren't exactly the lowest in the area, so I'm not sure why they don't do a little extra for their clients. I'm going to start bringing my own, but it would be nice if they started doing that. Also, I wish that they had a better selection of more "classic" colors- pale pinks, true reds, etc. There is a large selection of polishes, but it's a lot of crazy colors that I'm just not into. ok I just got a fill  ($18) and 4 nails fixed ($8) with gel ($3) and it was $29 and I leave a $5 tip. I'm happy with how they look---Also I called this morning at 9:30AM and she squeezed me in so that I could be on the freeway by 11:30. Actually I left her shop at 11:15.I got my full set here over 2 weeks ago (hence the 4 nails I had to have fixed) and I had a pedicure too. I have NOTHING negative to pick at or report. The pedi was great, I showed up at 7pm and they had me mani'ed and pedi'ed by 8PM. There were two HS age girls there when I got there getting glittery tips put on and an older woman (even older than me!) having her LOOONG natural nails done. I just had a full set with white tips done very short for work. I think he did a great job, not freakin' PERFECT ok, but totally an improvement over my own nasty nails and I did a little of my own shaping the next day cause I'm a freak like that....I went to a nail salon( that I'm not going to name) and they gave me a counterfit $5 bill from a special envelope. I had been going there for a long time. THAT disappointed me--I went to another one and they cut my nail to the quick with that dremel drill. That hurt...This one is close to where I live and so far is good. They are careful with my inferior paper thin nails and they are skillful. I found their tools to be clean--they have an autoclave, so I don't understand the other people who have objected to this shop.We have so many in our area, that you should find one that you like and stick with it, unless they pull the crap that those other two pulled on me. BTW, when the salon that cut me found out about it, they offered me a free mani. The other shop, that passed me the fake $5 will get caught at some point and I hope it's soon.Most small shops can't handle 3 people coming in at once for the same service. For those of you going out to get a pedi in big groups, you will sacrifice the cheaper price a small, family run place like this has to offer. Read Less
