Best place I've been to for nails by far. Staff is always really friendly and talkative. I have gone to get my nails done for 14 years. I have never had an issue with the quality of my nails, as well as I like everyone that works there. From the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out, I'm satisfied with my service. From the time I've been here, I've seen and heard some customers walking in complaining and wanting discounts on their nails or even sometimes their money back. I went into get my nails done and the guy did them they looked half way decent until I got home and really started looking at them. They had dips and bumps all over them the polish was messed up on a few fingers. They were suppose to be cat eye and you can even see them eye on my nails. They also had hunks oh acrylic underneath my nails that things kept catching on. I called the owner and she very rudely told me that there would be no refunds and she was not going to fix them either and then told me if I didn’t like I could go somewhere else. Well that’s exactly what I’m going to do because this place really did my nails horribly and wouldn’t even correct their mistakes. I feel that is done horrible customer service. I would not recommend this place for my dogs let alone another human. I would of been ok had she offered to re do them for me but she said she would not. If your smart and your a new customer then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE SO YOU DONT GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID. That was a complete waste of $35.00. The place had nails dust from the Dremal took everywhere. Looked like it had never been clean. My nail tech was on her phone the entire time while doing my nails. My nails were crooked and my polish is so uneven. I will never be going here again. if she was paying even a little attention she would have seen what a horrible nail job it was. Read Less

Great experience for me. I don't get my nails done often, so I look for quality more than convenience. $22 for shellac nails is a reasonable price for me. Staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I was told it'd be a 20 minute wait, and that was about how long I waited. The manicure itself was done quickly but well. I liked the hand/arm massage was after the nails were done and not before. The salon was super busy, but the manager did good with cycling everyone through so no one was skipped or waited too long. This was hands down the best nail salon experience I have ever had. My toes look fantastic, they shaped and deep cleaned my nails to look pristine. And on top of it all, the people working were such a joy to be around. I spent half my time relaxing in the message chairs and then laughing from our friendly and enjoyable conversation. Worst place to get nails done. Please save your time and money and find a better place!!! I took my daughter get her gel nails done here and they ended falling off five days later. I decided to take her back and get them fixed. The owner was really upset that I asked to get them fixed or to return my money. She yelled at me in front of many other customers including my daughter and other children as well as her own little girl. Her husband was upset when I approached my daughter as she was getting her nails done. He said it was his policy that I could not watch how she got her nails fixed. His wife then decided to scream at me and from what I could understand she was really upset at the fact that I had returned to get my daughters nails fixed. She said that gel nails only last one week and that they are not responsible for nails after one week. She yelled at me and said she was doing this job for 25 years and that she knew what she was doing. She said that they don't give refunds back and that next time I could not get the nails fixed. She can rest assure I'm not getting nowhere near that place ever again!! The place is extremely dirty from top to bottom. Dirty floors, walls, tables, etc. Trash everywhere. If you want to get your nails done in Monroe Washington I can tell you where NOT to go. I walked into Glamor nails off Old Owen Road and saw An old friend from middle school!! I was super excited to accidentally run into my friend and needed to get my nails done. So we were talking for a few minutes when Christie,who I assume is the owner, finished her phone call and greeted me and asked what I wanted. Almost as soon as I finished telling her what I wanted she was back on the phone. I tried to ask her to please hang up because I've had multiple surgeries on my hands and Every time I have someone new do my nails I need to warn them about my finger nails because some of them aren't connected to my fingers completely, some of them aren't even connected at the edges and it's important that the technician listen so that they don't accidentally rip off my finger nails.  Instead of hanging up she insisted that she could talk on the phone and listen to me simultaneously. I asked her again to please hang up the phone because I needed her attention and instead of hanging up she got offended and then apparently told her coworker in another language that I could wait for him and she more or less fired me as a client. He tried to tell me that she's a professional and could do my nails and talk on the phone at the same time and she's been doing this for 25 years.... IT ISN'T PROFESSIONAL TO HELP A CUSTOMER WITH ANYTHING WHILE YOU TALK ON THE PHONE and I'm sorry but you haven't been working on my nails for 25 years. I don't care what color you are or what language you speak, it's rude to talk on the phone when you are assisting a customer and it is rude to talk to your coworkers in another language about what you think of your customers and then just pass them off. I sat in the chair in complete disbelief as to what the hell just happened and I looked up at My friend and said "I think I just got fired," as she packed up her supplies  she just got offended and then told her coworker that she would no longer help me. That last part is a guess because she said it in another language!! That's the first time that's ever been fired as a customer before! I honestly cannot I got up and went to the Blue Ocean nail and spa salon and spent over $100 and tipped my nail tech $50. Have a great night Christie. I went there as I am newish to the area and tried another salon in town and was not very happy even after giving them a second chance. I needed a fill and a nail clip on one hand. I was not charged for the nail shortening. I ran into a friend there and made another. My friend has been going here since it opened and she has impeccable taste! So anyway back to my review. The ones were working and engaging us all in conversation I have never laughed so much getting my nails done! My nails turned out beautiful and they did the fill all the way to cuticle it was so thin that when it grew out you could not see a ridge from the acrylic! I have found my go to nail spa! I was in Monroe and had a couple hours to kill so decided to come here for a much needed full set. The nails are just like the 2 star rating, "Meh. I've experienced better." Pros first:- The workers there are really nice.- They have a lot of colorful shades.- No wait time. (Of course, this is Monroe... in the middle of nowhere)CONS!:- He cut the nails way too short- - My thumbs are uneven- They did not have any nude shades!! I do not want blue & green nails. I get it Seahawks... but they have every shade of orange, green, and blue but no nude shades because he said, "customers don't like it."- When he cut my nails and also when he shaped them, he never asked if I liked them or if they were ok. He just did what he thought was right.- A full set was $26. Heck, my full set in Seattle is less than this. & he had to run my card twice so I could tip him! (I just shouldn't have tipped -___-)- He was so slow at doing my nails. It took him over an hour and a half! I just got a full set & 1 color. No design or anything! This is probably due to him texting and talking on the phone while doing my nails.Needless to say, I will not be going back. This is my first time here because like I said I had some time to kill. Are you guys kidding? I admit I went to this place for a long time. I guess I just hate to change routines. But after the owner ran her wonderful sisters off- then I had to deal with just her, her husband and obnoxious kid. The last time I went there I was having a pedicure and the husband suddenly got up and left. Turns out he was going to school to pick up his kid (I was supposed to get my kid too and we had a half hour left!) No one told me he wasn't coming back and I sat in that chair for 20 minutes waiting for the wife to finish the work! (late to get my kid, thanks!) God forbid you have any concern about one of your nails and ask- Christie will shout you down and inform you "I know what I'm doing!" Hostile, rude and unprofessional. I get my nails done there every few weeks and have been for the last 5 years. Overall they are a good place to get your nails done. Sometimes though, they get rushed and mess up my nails or I have to sit there and wait for half an hour then have to take my own polish off while waiting. And they still charge me full price even if I do that. Sometimes Melissa will paint my white tips on lop sided or file my nails lop sided and I have to fix them when I get home, but most of the time they all turn out ok. I went there last sumer, and LOST A TOENAIL!!!! They are so unlean and didn't sanitize anything inbetween the service before me or after! They haul you in and out like your cattle!
