Katie Matai does an excellent wax. My eyebrows come up without looking pencil thin, and I do not walk around looking super shocked. She makes the bikini wax super comfortable. Prices are on par for other salons, but the "vibe" here is better. For hair, Leah does a great curly hair cut and style. She is a magician with color. It is easy to make an appt on their website. As a side note, if you like a calm relaxing atmosphere for taking care of your self care needs--be warned-when the salon is full-I find it a bit chaotic. I would not call it a relaxing atmosphere at all. This is especially true when some of the other stylist like to turn the music up, which seems to ramp up the talking volume of the patrons and in a pretty tight space with low ceilings it can be a little much for those looking to unwind. Ok. I really had to hold back after my first visit because I was so excited.I made an appointment with Katie a month out, arrived at my appointment and she consulted me to grow my eyebrows out (no tweezing) for 3 weeks and come back.So already I was thrilled that she didn't just wax my brows to get some money (although I had another service done that day). So fast forward 3 weeks and I returned, bushy brows and all, and Katie waxed them. And when I said she waxed them, I mean, she made them into a work of art. I have never been so happy with my eyebrows before. So I made another appointment for just yesterday and my second waxing was just as wonderful as the first. I am not super girly, so it takes a lot for me to convince myself to spend money on beautifying. Today, I am SO GLAD that I did. I sent Stefanie a few pictures of what I wanted and I was admittedly nervous because she's never touched my hair before. Not only did she spend time going over what I wanted in great detail before she began, she took the time to stop and check in with me and make sure she was doing what I wanted her to do. The end result: my hair looks better than the picture I sent her thanks to her attention to detail and meticulous coloring process! You guys let me tell you something this place is an absolute 5 stars if there would be 10 I would give 10!  This salon has the most amazing atmosphere, all the girls here are pure heart of gold! I have been getting my hair done with Jacque for 4+ years, she is the most amazing hair stylist ever. She always knows exactly what I want and nails it every single time!! 2-3 hours can go by so fast having amazing conversations and catching up on life and end result I feel amazing leaving and my hair looks gorgeous! The owner Katie is a beautiful soul, very loving and amazing person that will greet you with so much love that it makes your heart happy! I'm so saddened I have to move 3 hours away and find a new hairstylist and I hope the salon I find and everyone that works there will be as amazing as Vibe Wax Bar & Salon. You girls are amazing! First impressions are kind of a big deal.. my first impression of Katie is great! She is beautiful and bubbly and quite personable. She made me feel fully relaxed during my waxing session with her and even made me laugh a few times. After a horrible experience at another waxing boutique in Bonney Lake I am so glad to have found this little gem! It is a little further away but so worth it to me! It's hard to find someone you trust when it comes to waxing and it's even harder to find someone who is as experienced and fun as Katie is. Stephanie at Vibe is pure magic!  It takes serious talent to deal with Hawaiian/Native American hair.  It's LONG THICK and takes 3-4 times longer for anything than your average person.  So to say it's difficult to find a hair chemist with the patience and skill to fix whatever damage (in my case seriously bleached out) you or others have done is the understatement of the century.  It took Stephanie 5 1/2 hours and I walked out runway ready!  It would have taken most hair stylists 2 or 3 visits for what Stephanie did in one.  Can't recommend this lady enough!  The salon is fun, relaxing and full of talented ladies.  Do yourself a favor ladies and book your next hair fix with them! Let me tell ya... Waxing terrified me. I had never wanted to get waxed for dread of passing out. However, my husband is coming home from deployment and I decided to take things up a notch. I chose to go into Vibe and scheduled with Katie. She was absolutely awesome! She was able to calm me down while getting the job done. Even if you've never been waxed and feel like you may die in the process, Katie will ease your fears. I was in and out in 20 mins. No passing out!
