They are charging less than  the previous nail salons I went to but surprisingly I receive the BEST results from this Spa! This is truly the best place to get your nails done! I came in here and they are sooo so kind, they have the greatest customer service, they care about you & your nails! The entire process of me getting a fill was amazing, I have been to many different nail salons and they do it simple & fast as if they are in a hurry... at this salon, they take their time, really making your nails very neat! Only good things to say about Q Spa & Nails.The nails are always on point. All staff are very well trained and very friendly. Oh my...this is my fav nail salon up here. My bf told me about this place, he said this place was awesome and they did a good job. Of course, I really didn't believe him until I read the reviews. So, one day I was like I'm going to check them out. I made an appt with Vanessa but spoke with Ivy cuz I had lots of questions and she answered them all and was very nice and helpful. I got there and got a new set with the unicorn chrome nails. Vanessa was super sweet and accommodating. She's helpful as well and gave me options to save money. Awesome girls! When I got done I was so amazed on how perfect my nails were. The shape was perfect, Polish was perfect...loved it! Then everyone was so nice...Vanessa, Ivy and Amy were all so funny. Made apt. on Saturday March 3, 2018 3pm was there until 5:15pm.Best nail salon in all of SoCal and Mill Creek, Wa & it's surrounding areas! The lady's name that did my nails is Anna and/or Ann. She was so nice, by making sure I understood the entire cost involved for a full set plus 4 nails designed. The shape looks very natural and feminine. I brought in my own color changing nail polish, Lacquer Lust, purchased at livelovepolish.com. so the color looks really puzzle but it darkens to a purple in the cold.I will be back every month for my nails. Anna doesn't believe me but even when I move to Lacey, Wa., I will still come up to get my nails done by her! The whole shop was outstanding! The chemical smell was much lighter in here than in most shops. The guy working the front desk offered me and brought a a diet coke right off the bat. He brought a comfortable chair for my mother to sit in - even though she wasn't having any services done! Most of the time in LA that make you wait at the front.Their color collection is extensive! They also have their own color changing polish. I went to this place based on reviews, but I was really disappointed! I am still finishing cleaning my fingers from product (it is all over). The tip size is so big, it cuts into my skin! And my nails look... durable. Like you can cut woods, clean fish, probably even kill the bear with this kind of nails. They are super thick. The best part-they are pricey! So, will I go there again? I came here on a whim and this is my new holy grail salon! My technician was Vanessa. I showed her a picture and she copied it exactly!! I didn't even have to tell her if a nail was crooked or lumpy or anything. She was a perfectionist with every nail! I was watching the other techs in there and they were just as customer service oriented, attentive, and giving their absolute best to make their clients nails perfect to their liking. Amazing! I am so incredibly picky with my nails, so I will absolutely pay more than the standard nail shop. With that being said they are only ever so slightly more expensive than the usual. As soon as i walked in, I was immediately welcomed and offered a beverage by the owner (I think) and by my nail tech. They are just so welcoming and the environment is great. I will be back for my next set & setting up an appointment for my pedicure. I wish I got the nail techs name! She was great and super friendly. I saw all the great reviews and art they perform on nails. I was super happy to find that they could accommodate my specific design. Ivy did a beautiful job! I had my first FILL & PEDICURE here at Q Spa and nails and I am beyond pleased with my experience. The salon itself is very clean, organized, with a great atmosphere, good music playing, great décor and a TON of color options! The nail technicians are all so sweet, I’m pretty sure every one of them at one point or another introduced themselves to me while I was there. The technicians seemed to communicate proficiently with one another, never leaving anyone standing around at the front door for any period of time, never letting a call not get answered etc. They all seem to genuinely enjoy themselves at Q Spa & Nails. It’s really hard to find a nail salon with such a great uplifting atmosphere. I called about a week ahead to book an appointment. When I walked in there was absolutely no wait. I was greeted with smiles and HI HOW ARE YOU the moment I walked through the door. *PEDICURE: The pedicure was average. It was enjoyable but there were no pedicure packaged to choose from nor was there a price list that I seen while I was in there. **FILL: My fill was AMAZING! I never knew that a nail tech could actually get the shape I’ve been wanting for years now. The design is OUTSTANDING! Made an appointment for me and my daughter two days earlier. I let them know I needed an appoint to do manicure for both and a pedicure for one of us. My daughter decided last minute to get acrylics and when I told the lady she made a huge scene in front of the salon about how they couldn't do that and I would need to come back. She even read my personal phone number off in front of everyone. I was mortified and my daughter was so embarrassed and let down as she had been looking forward to this for a couple days. They called the next appointment and asked them to come in half an hour late and did everything that our appointment was for. They were courteous, polite, friendly and professional. I made an appt being the reviews sounded good, and who ever said average time is 15 minutes needs a new watch. I made 10am appt( that's when they open) the fill took an hour, then was $25 for the basic fill, then had me put hands in a gel dryer with regular polish which blistered, marks the polish, then put a top gel on, and again baked for 5 minutes. Took 1hr 45 minutes for full. Looked horrible, drove straight to another salon. Never recommend or return. Read Less

I came in here a couple days before leaving town for my wedding to get some french tips put on and a pedicure. I showed the gal, Han (I think), a picture of what I wanted and initially she told me that she could do it. After she put the french tips on, she told me that she could not do the flower because the person's nails in the photo were bigger then mine. She suggested a sticker instead, which I told her that I did  not want. She brought stickers out anyway and I reluctantly picked one out because I didn't want to cause a scene or be difficult. After I went home and the more I wore them, the more I didn't like them so I actually had them fixed at a different salon in the town we were getting married in. It also didn't help that my fiance's initial reaction to the nails was "They look ghetto"....after that, there was no way I was going to keep them. Oh, she also told me that it would be an additional $5 for her to push my cuticles back and clean them up. You would think that at least pushing back the cuticles would be standard!! For a while I have been exploring for nearby nail salons that do a good job consistently and found Q Spa & Nails I found out about not too long ago. It's a little less than a five minute drive from my home and it is the best nail salon I've been to in years so brownie points for distance and jobs well done. The interior is tidy and clean and the employees are all warm and friendly. There has been one instance when I got a full set of acrylics and they turned out crooked and oddly bent but aside from that one time (because that always happens with different people doing them), it's always been a rewarding experience. I always just get a full set of acrylics and they have an extensive selection of nail polishes. I do have a nail biting problem, it isn't dramatic or extensively bad, but it's been something I've had since childhood that I've intermittently broken here and there and acrylics help a bunch with that problem so usually my nails are pretty short. I have gotten a few comments about it from the person doing my nails here and there and I just have to cringe and nod my way through awkwardly by their comment. I'm the type of person to sit in silence and let them work, so I enjoy that the employees don't go out of their way to really squeeze information from me but are okay with sitting in silence too. I think it just depends on the person. I do know that they recently changed their prices up a notch and I love this salon but the prices are just ridiculous for nails and I think from all the traffic they get, it was a smart business move but it's not really the smartest investment for the customer but I guess that depends on you. Pretty disappointed that my pedicure only lasted about 15 minutes. :( I've been here a few times and I appreciate that they're clean. Before this experience, everything was great. I liked that they honored appointment times (and normally service durations as well.) I've been sitting and waiting for my nails to dry for about as long as my pedicure lasted. She disappeared to the back and hasn't returned to check me out for about 20 minutes. She also cut my nail as short as possible without asking what length I prefer, I'm hoping it doesn't cause issues like ingrown nails. Bummer, probably won't be back. Read Less

You're greeted with a friendly smile and asked if you would like a beverage. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for your appointment, but it's totally worth it. I got my first set of acrylics done here about two weeks ago. I had been searching for a good salon and decided to try out Q Spa and Nails. There was a small miscommunication at first, but it was all cleared up. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. They were able to give me the exact design I wanted. Just make sure when you call to make an appointment, that you specify if you want a specific nail design done. I love it here! They do the best shellac and pedicures. Their regular pedicures have a sugar scrub. My favorite is their attention to cuticles. I'm very particular about getting them trimmed well, and not cutting them. They always do the best job and are SO friendly. Their color selection is huge! The best nail salon I've ever been to! I found them on yelp and decided to drive from the U District to give them a try. I made my appointment around 11am and I was able to book one for 2:30. Upon walking in, the salon is clean and bright, and they have a HUGEEEEE selection of nail polishes (much more than the average nail salon). Got simple shellac and regular pedicure for my wedding - total $50I made an appointment and had to change the original as something came up. They were very courteous and changed it with no problem/questions..that's always a plus in my books!Q Spa and Nails is a little out of the way and in a somewhat sparse plaza, but there are defo tons of parking spots (another plus).Upon entering, they greeted me and told me to take a seat. They placed the shellac options in my lap while they got started. The place was clean and decently big, didn't feel stuffy at all. A lot of regular polish to choose from as well, many of which were OPI, Essie, etc. The nail technicians did a great job at shaping my nails. The girl who worked on my feet took her time and massaged my legs for quite awhile, so that is another plus! It has been exactly a week and my shellac is still intacted with the usual of my natural nails growing; but no chips/shrinkage.My toes are also still very vibrant with no chips!
