Not hi-tek nails anymore.. it’s now called HN nails & spa. However I’ve only been here one time and I wasn’t even getting my nails done.. (I just observed a friend getting her nails done) but I love the vibes at this place. They are super nice, take their time and don’t charge a lot for how WONDERFUL of a job they do on your nails. Ask for sparkly blue shellac and got a mint green with a single sparkly top coat... it literally didn't even last 4 days! The pedicure wasn't any better, they started to paint my toe an it was chunky, so they tired to fix it by adding what they called a flower.. never again! Read Less

New owners and horrible service. I usually go here to see "B" and she is great but, they just keep saying "she on vacation". I think she left. Went here a week ago and it was horrible. Some guy was in there and does not know what he is doing. Did not use the callus remover correctly, hubby said his pedicure was terrible, guy would not paint my toenails the way I wanted and did NOT know how to do a design. We mad an appointment a week in advance and tries to say they didn't have it in their books. They made us wait for an hour and tried to tell my daughter they couldn't do her nails they way she wanted. It's was not that difficult of a request. This place is affiliated with vs nails. There customer service is better her then vs nails. Vs nails told us they couldn't do any intricate designs and told us to go somewhere else. So we came to hi tek and they offered plenty of designs and were more inviting. We didn't know they were affiliated with Vs until a Vs nail employee showed up to help out since hi two was getting busy. The employee recognized us and asked to see the designs that were done. Horrible, aweful, terrible!!! Do not go here !! The lady who did my nails couldn't speak any English and tried to paint my nails a color I didn't even want. I told her I wanted a French shellac and she was bringing out a peach color. I'm like " No, that's not what I said I wanted" she just stared at me. Never going back here. The whole time I was there noone walked in. Should have taken that as a hint. I came last Monday and got a fill and wax. My eyebrows are messed up and she took off the ledge of my brow.My nails are uneven,shaped horribly, and are already lifting and some are breaking. Do not get your face done here or any type of waxing! I got burned on the face and when I explained how the wax was way too hot, she just shrugged her shoulders and told me that it was fine. I have gotten my face waxed many times and I understand that each place is different. I have never been treated this way. As a working woman myself, you have to show your customers you care but not at this place. They just want their money! I will never go back to this place and I suggest you don't either. Got a pedicure here recently will not return. They don't use clean tools for every customer and the foot soaking basins had rings around them . Toenails were cut crooked not shaped like most places.when I tipped her(not even sure why) she didn't even thank me. Read Less

Not deserving of even one star. The pedicure chair was broken, the foot bath came apart, and the nail tech argued with me when I asked her to remove my clear polish. She said I didn't have any on, which of course I knew I did. And she proceeded to remove it from my left toes but not my right. Need I say more? I have more to say because it continued to get worse. Just took my daughter for a pedicure. They placed her in a massage chair with rips in the upholstery that exposed the mechanics of the chair. Her hair was pulled inside and ripped out from the scalp! The staff refused to give me the owner's name and contact information (said they didn't know!), did not even apologize, but instead said that kids weren't allowed in the chairs. This could have happened to any person with long hair. They then proceeded to charge me more than the services we had requested because "she's older". Steer very clear. I had a deluxe pedicure, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  My feet were soft, polish looked nice, and I spent at least 20 minutes in a massage chair while I waited for my toes to dry.  My party of 4 didn't have appointments, but the ladies were able to accommodate us right away.  Prices were decent for the service. Came here with a friend on 5/8 bc my friend got a gift certificate.  The customer service was ok.  We both got manis and pedia but our polish is already peeling and chipping!! Typically when i get manis they last for at least a week or 2 and my pedis last 3 or 4 weeks....so this breaks an all time record for lasting a little over 24hrs.  Neither of us will ever go back to this place. I have never had such horrible service in my life. I walked in to Hi Tek Nails and asked how long the wait was for a fill. They said 20 min. I waited for 40 min and when I sit at the table to do my nails the lady says she doesn't have time to do what I want. I told her she should have told me that before I waited. Then I tell her to just paint the white tips on. She starts grinding my nails and then tells me she just wants to paint them a color. I told her I didn't want color. She cuts them and grinds them some more. She then stops and tells me she doesn't want to do them any more cause she's tired and tells me I have to go somewhere else. Read Less

This place is near my home, so i thought i'd give it a try. I went there about 3 times...after the third time, i swore to never go back. Floor was filthy, employees somewhat rude. Even though i asked the girl doing my pedicure to be very gentle (I have nerve damage in my left leg/foot), she ended up cutting me, and i got an infection. Also got my eyebrows waxed -- they were uneven, wax too hot. I wouldn't recommend this place. This place sucks! I don't normally write reviews this is my first time ever. My experience was so bad that I had to let who ever was thinking of going here, don't! Maybe it's not fair for me to say don't go at all because I only had a bad experience with one lady, but I wouldn't risk it. So I kept on driving and remembered seeing a nail place in the Safeway plaza by he Dollar store. I should of listened to myself when I said no, don't go they are never full so they probably suck. But I was feeling adventurous and like to try new things/places.As I thought the place wasn't full. They took me right away said I wanted Mani and Shellac. I love shellac I get them done a lot! So I know the process. So one of the ladies told me to sit down she will do it for me. I wasn't having a good feeling about it either, but F it... I'm here I'm sitting down what ever...She starts cleaning my cuticles and this is the part I hate because some people are so rough. Well this lady was sure enough rough and made me bleed! I quickly pulled my hand away and she gave me a smirk but no sorry. I said that hurt! She giggled and continue. So I just looked away trying not to pay attention maybe it won't hurt that way.. But she made me bleed again on my other fingers. Ugh I should of just left. But I'm too nice. Then she files down my nail I like it square. That's not hard just file straight. That sucked also. It was crooked. Then Shellac time. First the base coat. She only dipped the brush ONCE in the bottle and painted one hand and then once again painted the other hand. I wouldn't mind so much if there was a lot of product on the brush but there wasn't. Then the color... Came out really streaky I asked for a 3rd coat. And she seemed really annoyed when I asked that but she did it. And had my pull out my hand from the LED light before the time was up. She did that a few times.. And also with the top coat. Maybe that explains the peeling and the fading of the color I'm experiencing right now. (2 days later). Shells normally last me 2 and a half weeks and that is because of grow outs not chips or fading.THIS REVIEW CAME OUT LONGER THAN I EXPECTED BUT I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THIS PLACE SUCKS OR THAT LADY DID AT LEAST. I WOULD LIKE TO WARN AS MANY PEOPLE AS I COULD. SAVE YOUR $25.00 + Tip FOR ANOTHER PLACE. YOULL BE BETTER OFF DOING YOUR OWN NAILS THAN GO HERE.I don't want to give this place any stars at all. Horrible. Messy application. The pedi was okay. When it came to the manicure it was horrrriiibbllleeee. I don't have a problem with the manicurists that can barley speak english but this one was a tuffie. I got black and white crackle and she didn't even cover my whole nail on four of my nails. What I mean is that on the sides of the nails, you can see my nail bed. I tried to communicate with her and tell her that she didn't cover my whole nail with polish and I could tell it made her annoyed which made me annoyed because I was nice. She didn't even clean up my cuticles and one more thing that bothered me was that her nails were disgusting. Her nails were so dirty and it wasn't sanitary. I mean you work IN a nail salon. I had a pedi done here today and it is THE worst pedi I have ever had!!! Reasons: The lady didn't even clean out under my toenails, (she eventually did this... AFTER I asked ) The lady cut my toenails crooked The skin around my toes have nail polish on them (all over) Certain parts of my toenails were NOT polished There is dry skin left around my big toe If you are smart, AVOID this place!!! It looks like a two year old gave me a pedicure. I also took my niece, she had a manicure and they only took ten minutes and left hang-nails. What a joke this place is!!!!!!!!!!!!
