I walked in and they were able to take me right away. Asked for shallac with some pearls on my cuticle line of one nail on each hand. They did a great job, exactly what I wanted, was in and out in maybe 35 min and they were really friendly. The price was good and this is week 3 with no chips or peeling. There are many nail salons within a 2km radius of this area but I will always choose Nail Candi. Every 3 months I take my daughter here to get her nails done while I get a pedi (yes, men need to take care of their skin as well). The staff here are attentative and are always asking how my daughter and I are doing to ensure that we are comfortable and are getting exactly what we want. They take the time to keep my daughter engaged so she doesn't get restless. The ambiance is modern and the massage chairs are great! I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed! The first thing I noticed as I walked in was how clean and modern the place looked. Not only were staff very welcoming, it was clear that they were well trained in their services and in keeping things clean and sanitized. Dirty dirty dirty !! A friend of mine has a fungal infection on 7 of her 10 nails after getting powder dipped gel done... thank God one of them fell off and she saw the green and brown disgusting ness that was developing before it got any worse... she went back to the shop to ask for help, they made 1000 excuses, and the technician tried to send her away with the nails only half off because the manager confirmed that the friend refused to pay to have them removed and she didn...’t want to do any more work if she wasn’t being paid ... they wouldn’t do anything to make the situation better .. when she asked what form of sterilization they use on the tools, they ignored her while discussing in a different language, and then said they sterilize them in alcohol, when she asked if the tools that were being used on her were sterilized, she put a bunch of the attachments into a bowl and poured some alcohol in it... horrible service, and unclean conditions... she will be reporting to Alberta Health Services. The first 7 times were an alright experience here. The last three times I have felt like an inconvenience. The service is an average nail salon, however I recommended my sister go here before her wedding. The gentleman who runs things here was FURIOUS we didn't have drinks, when we said we tentatively would have. He was so angry and slammed closed a table, he said he purchased a special banquet license for this. Last time I was here for a wedding party, we could barely drink any champagne. Because of that it really didn't seem worth it to buy food and snacks to have them sit on a table while we get our nails done.Today I came in and was asked what I wanted done. I said I would like a manicure please, and the younger girl awkwardly said oh I don't know , probably don't have time,  then started speaking in another language to her colleague. My 12 year old granddaughter had a very very bad manicure, was told to hurry up and pick her colors because" I have people after you" really...... they were walk ins and we had appointments. She did my other granddaughters nails first and they were beautiful. The 12 year olds nails were a mess, not sure if she was having a bad day or just doesn't like 12 year olds. Laura and the other, I think owner, were so gracious and so apologetic when I complained, Laura redid her nails after insisting on it , what a wonderful person and what a beautiful job! We will be back, will not let one bad technician keep us away, The rest of the girls are so friendly and they bent over backwards to fix the problem, even throwing in nail diamonds free to make a little girl from Phoenix very happy. Growing up in Calgary, I have visited a lot of nail salons. This place does one of the best pedicures, manicures and shellac/gel applications. You really can tell the difference. Lasts forever too so you don't waste money touching up every two weeks. The nail techs all pay attention to detail, take their time, and the environment of the salon just makes it so worth it to come here to be pampered. I see Laura to get my nails done and she is definitely a perfectionist and super gentle at the same time. Over 350 shellac colors to choose from. Will definitely be back! Read Less

I normally don't write poor reviews but we had such a terrible experience with our pedicures. I booked an appointment for two pedicures at 430, we were not even acknowledged until 445 and not started till 450. They did us one at a time not together so our entire appointment was almost an hour and a half. They did a terrible job at painting the nails as it began to chip off the next day. Not to mention they cut my toe nails crooked and uneven. The other pedicure her feet were still dry and rough after the appointment. It was not worth the money spent. Read Less

Very cute, modern, clean and free of nail odor!Upon arrival on a weekday afternoon, I noticed this shop is definitely busy. While my friend I waited, we noticed the employees were turning away customers asking them to return later because they were so busy.  Plan ahead and schedule your appointment!Located in the QFC shopping area, this shop definitely has a good location for all the shoppers.Waxing and pedicure experience was enjoyable and staff was friendly. I came here as a gift from my husband and I liked it. The second time I went I took my daughters and my best friend. I was in love with my girl. I can't remember her name and will have to update this with it but she was OMG amazing. I showed her a picture and she got the unique design spot on! I was so impressed that I will always go here, which is not that close to me, for my toes :) There is two bad seeds here though, watch out for them. One was already named in on of the other review. Her work was sloppy and I had to go back and my girl redid my girl's toes. The gentleman at the front is super nice and the place is really clean and I love the theme. Read Less
