I went to this salon a couple months ago looking to do my nails and ask for a small design on one of my fingers. When I asked one of the staff for this, she abruptly said there are no spots. Horrible! It looked like I polished my own nails and The shape of my nails were uneven. Overall Probably one of the worst full sets I've gotten, and I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years. I was so excited to find a salon next to my house. I did pedicure and shellac there... Loved it was so excited... They said that my shellac will last 2-3 weeks it's only been 5 days and my shellac on my nails came off... So I went back and wanted them to re do my nails and they said its my fault that shellac came off that I've been nervous and peeling my nails.. I said what? Why would I do that and the lady said I don't know but we are not re doing your nails unless you pay us... So I'm never going back there again... So disappointed. So disappointed !!!! My daughter Booked appointment 4 days before to schedule a manicure. When she arrived at shop there were two wedding parties in shop. Daughter wasn't seated till ten to fifteen minutes after her appointment and then still had to wait. The person doing her nails rushed through the whole appointment. The picture was taken two weeks after I had my gel manicure done. Whenever I want a gel French manicure,I come to them. I love the way they draw the white tips(thin)and, they always make sure I am happy with the result. The gel they use is amazing. It's last forever and doesn't crack easily as you can see the picture although the nail has grown a little bit. I also have my pedicure done here. Visited this salon, pretty run down, they wouldn't do a simple application one I've had for two years elsewhere! So I went ahead a tried them and wasn't thrilled with the selection of colors! Girls didn't talk much or didn't understand or speak English but the main gal! My shellac didn't set had to go back the next day. Wasn't thrilled about that? But the girl made it right and they were nice definitely not what I wanted at all. They're lack of colors and new ideas will hurt this little salon! Equipment is out of date. One shellac machine per hand so took longer. Didn't want shellac somehow they talked me into it! I don't like basic boring and that's what I got! I never write reviews but I just got back from from Tina's nails and usually they are not that rude but today they were so rude to me I came in for a fill the girl told me to just get a new set instead so she starts removing my old nails in the most uncaring way it's hurting I see there is some blood but I don't make a big deal finally she gets to my middle finger and takes me real nail with the fake one there was so much bleeding she did not apologizing at all she cut 3 of my nails and hurt my nails so bad that she couldn't even give me a new set so I decided to get a mani instead and she charged me for it after she left my nails in such poor condition. I had gone to Tina's nails so many times before I never get the best costumer service but I like the way they do my nails now I'm never going there again . Read Less

Best nail salon I have ever been to! I've had acrylics for years and honestly this salon has never done me wrong. Amazing service the women there are so sweet and they make sure you leave with your nails looking and feeling fabulous. They do the most natural looking acrylic, gel, and shellac services. Their pedicures are even better, talk about a great foot massage! They take their time and make you feel relaxed. And you will never leave with nail polish on your cuticles! The ladies there are very neat and precise. There are so many good things I could say about this salon, not one negative. There have been a couple of times I couldn't make it in the area to get there so I had to try other salons for an emergency fill or pedicure before an event and EVERYTIME that has happened I have left displeased and sad and couldn't wait to get back to Tina's nail! I've tried so many other nail salons in the Lynnwood area and I always end up coming back here.  They always do a very good job.  The only thing I don't like is that they need to upgrade their color selection.  It's always the same ones I see on the shelf.  I also think they should add some Essie brand to their collection.  They probably have more colors in the shellac so people would be more inclined to pay more and go with the shellac manicure.  I don't think that's very fair.  While shellac lasts longer, it requires you to go back to the salon to have the polish specially removed and that costs money, too.  Their price is very fair however for a regular mani/pedi at $30 and I usually tip $5. Came here on a Wednesday evening around 530. Wait was about 20 minutes. Had a gel manicure. She was very meticulous, manicure was very good. On to the pedicure: she did a really good job and was very detailed. The massage was good. It seems small and questionable from the outside, but it's good and they do a good job. My sister and I have been coming to Tina's Nails for years. My sister gets her gel manicure here by Tina and is always very happy with it. I've also been very happy with my manicure and pedicure whenever I get them done here. The place is pretty spacious, relatively clean, and not exactly divey, but not fancy by any stretch either. I stopped coming here after I started doing my own nails for a short period of time, but aside from that, I also found this little strip mall a little depressing and shady. The 7-11 next door is often frequented by some sketchy characters who would then loiter around the area (I know, I know, that sounds really judgy and insensitive). When you're drying your nails here, you'd be seated by the store front, facing out into the shady parking lot. I also got discouraged from coming back because they're almost always busy (which is good for them!). I typically do my nails on a whim, not on any set schedule, so having to call ahead is just a little annoyance I try to avoid. My mani-pedi stay fresh for a little over a week, but my biggest gripe with this place is that my hands are always very dry after a manicure here. I'm not sure if it's the products they're using, the alcohol concentration in their sanitizing spray, or the dryers they use, but my hands don't typically feel so dry after a manicure at other places. I'm not crazy about the lotion they use (it smells faintly like cooking oil). The polish collection is good, not the greatest. Read Less

This salon is amazing!  I tried them one day and must say they do superior work!  I took my kid here for a pedi and when we went home she said that was the best pedi she had ever had because they massaged her calves longer then any other salon!  I am amazed of the quality and attention to detail!  Not to mention Tina, "yes the Tina!" I went to this place for first time yesterday. Tina did a good job with manicure, but the  girl with the long hair who did pedicure for me had an attitude and she was in hurry to do the next person. I asked her to make my nails shorter and she answered by saying I already did. When I mentioned that to Tina she said she is the good one and a lot of people ask for her. After going to Tina's for over a year, I've given up and switched to another place near there.Pros-Good polish selection.  That may sound odd, but some places are pretty lacking in the more unique colors.-Flat-screen TV.  Tina likes to have the Mariners or Seahawks games on, so I definitely appreciate that!-Vi does a great job painting nails.-The older gal (can't remember her name) is super nice and gives great pedicures!  She doesn't do acrylic nails, though.Cons-Some of the clientele going to the 7-11 store next door is a bit sketchy.-They don't seem to do a very good job of managing time.  If you call and say "do you have time for a fill right now?"  "oh sure - come on in right now".  Go in and wait for 30 minutes.  Not cool.  This happened more often than not.  -I've never had so many problems with my nails breaking or lifting!  I went to another salon for years and only switched when the gal retired.  NEVER had so many problems...    -I always had Vi for my nails and when I mentioned to Tina that I was having problems with them breaking or lifting, her response was that I should get a complete new set every couple of months.  Uhhh - some of the nails that are breaking or lifting are less than 2 months old.-I had Tina do my nails the last time and she spends so much time answering the phone, doing waxes, etc, it doesn't feel like she really wants your business.-The last time I was in there, there was a gal getting a pedicure who would NOT stop talking on her cell phone.  I mentioned something to Tina and she said that the gal does it every time she comes in and it drives her crazy.  Uhhh - SAY SOMETHING.  She's letting one customer ruin it for everyone else.  Again, I gave this place a number of chances, but I'm not going to spend money to have my nails break within a week (and then get charged for them to fix it). I'm very loyal to this place. Well, only my nails are loyal. I won't get a manicure anywhere else. Have Tina, the owner or Vi do your nails. They do a great job on mine and they know exactly how I like them and they do it very natural looking which is a plus. I hate having nails that look fake as heck even though they are! So if you want natural looking nails, this is the place to go. Even if it's out of my way, I still get my butt in here every two weeks or so and won't do them anywhere else. The only downfall is that they get overly busy sometimes. Even if you have an appointment, I still have to wait about 30 mins before. Read Less
