The salon is very nice and clean.They offer the SNS powder dipped gel nails.Those are the only two positive things I have to say about this salon. Every lady that works here is just outright rude. The only reason I even came to this salon in the first place is because my friend told me about the powder dipped nails. I was intrigued and really wanted to try it out. I made an appointment for SNS powder gel nails and a pedicure. That was the fastest pedicure of my life. No massage, no scrub. Just a polish change and nail trim. The lady doing my SNS nails was just foul. She was about to start dipping my nails when I stopped her and asked her to trim and shape them first. You would think I asked her for money, she got such an attitude about it. She did such a bad job shaping them that they were crooked. Asking her to fix it was another ordeal. During the entire dipping process she kept telling me I am not holding my finger out correctly and that if the nails look bad it's on me. The nails looked just fine, thank you. However two days later one cracked and broke. I came in to get it fixed and she left me sitting there for 10 minutes. No other customer where in the salon. Two women who worked there were just sitting on their phones. TEN MINUTES. She told me I must have done something for my nail to break and that it was not her fault. Then she charges me $5 to fix it. Please note that every other salon will fix a nail for free if it happens within a few days of your appointment. I don't care how good my nails look, I will not be back here. I enjoy getting my nails done, it's a nice quick recharge where I get to put my phone away for an hour. This salon ruins the peacefulness of the experience. I went in for a balayage with my hair already lightened. Chelsea began by darkening my roots then lightening my ends. 5 hours later the end result looked like I had a black ballcap on top of my head with blonde sticking out from underneath. She was ready to send me off like that if my boyfriend wouldn't have stepped in and said something. We requested for her to blend it in she was very kind and tried. The end result looks like I have blonde grow out with a harsh line of dema...rcation. The process cost me $170, I walked out feeling robbed. My boyfriend and I were quite upset with the outcome he went back on to talk to Chelsea. She admitted to him that she had made a mistake with my hair and that it wasn't her best work. She offered the tip back and said she would email us to further to discuss the mistake. At this time we have not received any word. Was intimidated by all the trendy colors and new looks I saw online, as I work a conservative job, but Chelsea led me to the perfect look for my career. She is truly talented at her profession down to the simple fact one of my ears stick out more than another. She gave me a style that accommodates that, which I never would have realized is a thing. The lady was extremely rude. She rushed on my nails. Was not pleasant. When after 3 days a brand new set she did, broke 2 nails I came back saying I would like it fixed. She blamed me somehow breaking them and did not take any responsibility. Her response to my "it hurts so I don't want it ripped off" was "were professionals we don't need help". Jessica did my hair and make-up for my husband's military ball. I had so many compliments on both it was amazing. Then I went back for a trim and most recently did a bayelage/hombre (probably spelled them both wrong) on my "stubborn" black hair. It took quite some time to get the color to lift but Jessica was wonderful. I just had this done yesterday and already have had so many compliments today while out and about. I give one star for the cleanliness and that is all. I live about 5 minutes away from this salon. I used to go here frequently. Probably 5 or more years then stopped regularly getting my nails done. I went here last year and it was not a what it used to be. That was in November of 2014. I am not sure why but the cost was at least $20 more for a mani pedi then it was before even though I declined the $5 up charge for the scrub they asked me about during my pedi. I chalked that up to just a bad day. There were bubbles in my shellac and the French part was uneven and thick. I took my daughter there last summer in preparation for a family vacation. When we walked in we were the only customers. My daughter is 8. We both requested mani pedis with shellac. We were sat in the pedi chair and each of us were attended to by two ladies. One for our nails and the other for the pedi. The girls just talked amongst themselves. They pulled at us and we're pretty rude. I let them know that I wanted the white part on my French thin and they could not get it thin enough. The gal doing mine told me "you to picky. You won't like. I know" I continued to ask that she make it smaller as my nails are short. I just stopped talking as it did no good. When it came time to pay the owner had shown up. I told her that I was not happy and why. I was respectful and she did not say she was sorry or offer any apology at all. The girls that did our work overheard my complaint and started yelling at her in a different language so I'm not sure what they said. At any rate I paid the $92 with no tip and haven't been back. DO NOT GO HERE!! I used to love going to this place. The owner is so sweet BUT there is a lady who works there (a little larger than the rest) with short hair and older, who is the rudest person I ever met. I was getting my nails done here for my wedding with my grandma. She told me I should "go back to my country" for my honeymoon because we were speaking Tagalog (Filipino) ......funny she was offended because she was talking bad about us the entire time in Vietnamese. She yelled at me for moving and hurt my fingers. She yanked at my hands and feet during the manicure and pedicures, unnecessarily.  She was mad that we came in 45 minutes before they were about to close... Well they shouldn't have taken us then. Great Salon!  I just went there today for a mani/pedi and boy, did I feel pampered!  I got their signature pedicure which is a little pricier, but you get a couple of leg massages, paraffin, a leg mask, hot stone massage and of course, the pedicure.  my manicure was similar minus the hot stones.  I chose the lavender scent and it is amazing!  I will definitely be a repeat customer. This is the only place I will let do my nails. I get shellac manicures and pedicures on a regular basis. Every time I try any other places, I am always finding myself comparing it to this place. The salon is very clean and the staff are very nice. There has been a few rude people in here, but they seem to no longer work there. When you arrive, you fill out a form selecting the types of service you would like as well as the scents you would like with your service. They are very timely and always try to squeeze in walk-ins when they can. Often times, the place is very busy, which is usually a good sign that it is a good nail salon. I have gotten shellac at other salons as well, and NONE last as long as my nails done by Angel Nails. I have also had brow waxing done here, and the waxing room is very clean, and their waxing services are great also. I cannot say enough great things about this place, and I highly recommend them. Very Clean... My mom and I were walk in's at 4 O'clock on Sunday afternoon when they closed at 5. Both of us wanted mani pedi's which they happily did with so little time before closing. They took there time on us, and didn't rush. We got to choose the scent of our exfoliating scrubs and lotion, they did hot stone massage on our legs, feet, arms and hands, along with paraffin wax on our hands and feet, and slathering our arms and legs in mud as they finished our nails. Best set of pink and whites I've received. I bite my nails and asked her to use a pink that wouldn't show thru and to extend my nail bed and it turned out very nice. Other places never used a dark enough pink. Everything was sterilized and very clean. Read Less

I used to love this place and go there regularly but now they seem to call in just anyone when they are busy. About 8 months ago, I had a pedicure and the woman was very rough with the scissors and cut the sides of my nails and I had to tell her to stop since it hurt so badly. The next time a different woman pulled an actual piece of nail out of my cuticle that had been sitting there since the last time. I have had ingrown toenails ever since and spent hundreds at the podiatrist having them fixed. Will never go to a cheap nail salon again as you pay more in the end! Read Less

The salon was clean and I felt that the two ladies working the front of the shop did an excellent job. They were both working one1 client at the same time. One doing the Pedi and the other doing the Mani while she sat in the Pedi chair.I went there today to get a quick eyebrow waxing. A girl comes of the back holding a phone to her ear. she signaled me to come back there. The whole process took all of 10 minutes, but she never hung up the phone. She never addressed me and just continued to talk on the phone. It was the rudest service I have ever received. I really hate to write a negative review. My Mom who is 90 stopped by this morning. I went in and asked how long for TWO fills. She said 15 minutes. After 20 they took Mom; an hour later I was still waiting..... then they wanted to take me when she was DONE. Then she could wait an hour. No thank you. I expressed my displeasure and that didn't go over well; the manager followed my outside and wanting to talk about it and took me by the arm and I finally said quit hanging on me and we finally left. First let me say that the ladies here are nice, I did have to wait both times I went for the nail tech to finish her lunch to come out to my appointment.  But I can look past that.  The first time I had a pedicure and pink and white full set done. The pedicure was very good, the pink and white set was messy. She left white flecks on most of the nails from where she sliced out the white shape with the back of a nail tip. I hoped maybe she was having a bad day or out of time or something so I gave a second chance and came to a second appointment when it was time for a fill.  I wasn't anymore impressed the second time.  I hate  leaving a negative review but this was just my honest experience.  I tried this place because it is very close to my house.  I ended up letting the tips grow out and taking them off.  Waiting a couple weeks and tried a new place that is a little farther away from my house instead. This place was really clean and did a great job the first time for my full set of french tip acrylics and pedicure, but when I went in the second time to change the white tips to black, instead of removing the top part of the acrylics and cleaning under the nails, they just kept them on and filled the small spots of my nail that was showing and painted over the white tips. They weren't successful at it and I didn't have time to tell them how bad it looked. Ever since then I haven't been back there, yet I'll probably go back here soon.They were nice ladies and the pricing was fair as well.If you're ever around the area, I recommend this place as well. A friend and I went and they were great. The salon is nice and clean and it has an open feeling. It seemed that they did a good job keeping the place clean. I got a pedicure and they have massage chairs. They have a good choice of colors and they did a good job. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have $15 spa pedicures which was a really good deal. If you are looking to go into a super clean nail salon where everyone looks up and smiles at you immediately, you are going to love this place.   They are quick and thorough and offer you something to drink if you'd like and have you pick out your colors from a super broad selection.  Their prices are great and when you get a pedicure sitting in the fantastic massaging chair while they are rubbing a salt scrub into your calves, think back to how I mentioned it  and how glorious it would feel.  All in all, I think this is the best nail salon around and it is worth it to me to drive to Lynnwood from Ballard because my pedicures last well over a month and they are just so friendly and sweet in there.  All the ladies were great!Oh, not to encourage anyone to do so, but they are really awesome about taking clients even when their posted hours of business are coming to a close.  Talk about the best customer service around!!
