When I walked in, it was very busy. I sat in the waiting area for about twenty minutes until I was seen, however the employees were all very friendly and continued to engage me in short conversations, i.e; telling me I would be next, asking what color I wanted for my manicure, etc. It's not the salon's fault they were busy, so I wasn't upset. Once seated in the chair, I had to constantly reiterate to the nail tech that I wanted my nail set removed entirely. After he weakly acknowledged that he understood, he walked away to work on a different customer. Finally, a woman came over who seemed to understand what I wanted and then began to remove my old nail set in a very uncomfortable way. She did this by clipping the fake nails off so short, she cut some of my real nails that were under the fake set. After she clipped them, she used her own fingernail and a fake nail to jam between my actual nail and the remainder of the fake nails until they were pried off. It was extremely uncomfortable, not quite painful however, I think that if you have a low pain tolerance it would've been painful. She left, and the original guy came back to give me the manicure. He did an okay job. There were actually a few imperfections in my nails but I wasn't too upset about it. I just wanted to get out of here at this point.Throughout the time that I was here, random children were crowding around me that were related to the workers in the shop, but no one said anything to them. Finally, my nails were set to dry. After about five minutes, a completely different nail technician came over and pulled my hands away from the fan and pressed on my nail testing if they were dry, leaving fingerprints. He commented that they were in fact not dry yet and instructed me to keep them by the fan. After another two minutes, the same nail tech that touched my nails told me that they were dry and I was good to go. I didn't think that I was exactly ready to go, but I got up anyway, paid and left. When I got to my car and took my keys out of my bag, I noticed that my fingernails were completely smudged on four of my nails. I'm going to have to go home and remove the polish and paint them again myself. I could've saved myself the 12 bucks for the manicure had I known this would happen. I really wanted to like this place. When I initially walked in, I was going to try my hardest to find reasons to justify leaving a five star review. But at this point, I really can't. It looked as though a lot of people were satisfied with their manicures and pedicures, but I'm not exactly sure if I can give this place a second chance to see exactly what all of the good reviews are talking about after so many mistakes on a single customer.
