I have been looking for a pedicure home for months and am having the worst luck ever! I NEEDED to seriously relax, so my friend recommended this place. Yes, the family was nice. Maybe I just came at the wrong time. But she started my pedicure at 6:35pm and was done by 6:57. I don’t think I EVER had a pedi THAT rushed. The honesty of just saying “No we don't have time tonoght” works well. I didn’t get the good massage I was hoping for to end my rough week. I guess I will continue to look, but this was tough to pay for 20 min. For that I could just got a polished change. I may have been more satisfied. Oh well. Worst salon i have EVER been to run! First off i walk in and the place appears clean however it wreaked of wet cat food and an old folks home. I was asked if i wanted gel i said no. The guy was so sloppy with my acrylic he got it all over my fingers i tore a bunch of my skin off trying to get it off i specifically asked him to be gentle due to them being sore because i had to pry off the acrylic! He did not listen he kept hurting me then when i had asked him to correct the shape of some of my nails he goes "no they are fine" and refused. I then got asked to live for the lady to paint my nails i had asked specifically when i arrived if they could do a matte black nails and showed a picture for reference. They agreed and seemed confident. They we so dishonest so rude and they used gel even though i had specifically said no! Then she tried to charge me for it when i had told her i did not want gel and not to use it! I did not want to lay for gel so i had said no to it yet she decided to ignore my saying no and attempt to charge me anyway i voices my opinion about my nails multiple times she was nothing but rude, she yelled at me they were fine and that they were done well when they were not i was so upset i asked her to please just allow me to finish drying what i had on my nails (the 2nd matte top coat) and just leave it be she then screams "do you want another coat or not" i replied no and repeated i am very unhappy and would like to finish drying pay and leave i won't be returning. She never once apologized she never said she would fix it never offered to help resolve the situation and when paying she argued with me about refusing to pay for gel that i specifically asked she not to use! You don't get to force me into paying for something that i specifically asked you not to! She proceeded to argue with me and then yell at her husband and he seemed to have just said screw it. She rang us up for $59 which is BULLSHIT and threw the receipt at us along with the clip board. I usually only come here for my eyebrows. The lady is always very quick and always does a super good job on my eyebrows. I don't like to get my nails done here only bc of how long it always takes since theres usually only the couple working here. Its really clean inside tho. So that's a plus! Read Less

I came in for a shellac manicure with CND (dipped powder). The technician could not keep track of what colors she was using, and when I commented my hands were two different colors she replied "no, they are fine." The same day two of the nails cracked when I opened my car door! I called to ask how they would make it right, the female technician argued and even shouted at me that she hadn't done anything but good quality work... $45 dollars for the WORST manicure I've ever had. I live down the road and the location is super convenient however it's always a really lackluster experience and today will be my last visit. I walked in to the owner doing his own foot soak and I had to wait until he looked up from the book he was reading to speak with him. Came in for a pedicure and the lady working here is rough throughout the process. Not much of a foot or leg massage like most places. No warm towels or wax either. Additionally, I've been sitting here with my toes "drying" with the toe separators on for over 30 minutes!!! The lady walked past me several times between other customers who came in after me and I'm still here so I guess I'll remove the toe separators myself and hope I'm not waiting at the counter to pay as well. Not very customer service oriented and the employees must be on a dare of who can go the longest without smiling. Not worth coming again. Read Less

I will not go anywhere else! I have been going to this place for 10+ years, first at their first location and now at their new I have made the mistake 2x of having to go somewhere else mainly because I travel for work and couldn't get in....I have learned my lesson x2 and will go with out! I never have problems with my nails they never break or separate. Super clean shop! And if you like French manicures the pink and white is the way to go it only took 10 years to start doing them lol...after Han the owner said let's do it! We laughed but I absolutely love them! I've been here twice for a Brazilian bikini wax, the lady is very sweet, the first time their was a mix up with pricing but the second time I went in she fixed it! Very great customer service! Owners are nice but the impression they try to portray is the highest class nail and wax salon in the region. They are only a few dollars more than any other place, but not worth it. The few times I've had a fill, the area near the cuticles always start to lift within a matter of days. You'll get the same quality for less just about anywhere else. And, there are other nail salons in the Lakewood area that do more precision work to your liking. Read Less
