I've been trying to find a nail shop in the Hawks Prairie that does liquid gel fills. It seems many nail shops don't offer this yet. I've been to Elegant Nails twice now and they have done a very nice job. The shop has been there for years...at least 15...so they have a good following. Some of the employees don't seem super friendly, but last time I had Anna and she was very nice and pleasant. There are tons of colors to choose from, and they have lots of both mani and pedi chairs. Beware..... Always have extra money with you!!! I usually am very happy with these guys, but here recently i feel like its a bit of joke. Almost like they make up the prices at will!! Theres the occasional "fixing nails" without asking then charging for it. The other day I asked for a basic pedi and at the end the lady says she "forgot" which one she was doing, leaving me to pay the difference. Because Ofcourse it was a more expensive service. Then when I had a full set put on (which i been doing for years with them) im now told its $5 more because my nails are "Long" and told (after the work is done Ofcourse).. No longer than they ever have been any time before...... The sign doesn't say $25 and up.... Just $25...... My point, beware and always have extra money with you, it seams to be the new business practice to adjust the prices at will Read Less

Awful. Worst experience ever. My nail was bleeding the whole time due to her clipping and all she said was "oh bleeding". Still charged me full price. My nails look awful and sick. At least they should have said sorry and put a medication on it.Read Less

I just had the best gel manicure and pedicure ever. I finally took time for myself. LIsa was awesome.  The place was very nice and the staff as friendly as ever. I love coming here.  That's why I keep coming back. Read Less

I love this nail salon! It is clean, busy but they always get me in for a pedicure, and the prices are extremely reasonable.  I never feel like I paid too much and the extra $5 for a pretty nail design is always worth it. It lacks some fancy bells and whistles like free wifi or refreshments, but for a nice experience this place is great. Read Less

I've been to this salon at least 20 times but my experience yesterday was the worst of any salon I've been to. I wanted a new set so she was taking off my old ones and she cut me with the nail clippers under my nail! I told her I had to work at 4pm but she still went to do another job and had me sitting there for 10 minutes. This whole experience took over an hour and a half. I have been going to this salon regularly for over a year after trying several others in the area without feeling satisfied.  Elegant nails has a calm, relaxing ambience. The staff is terrific and very skilled.  My gel manicure usually lasts for 3 weeks without chipping.  The luxury pedicure is fantastic complete with paraffin dip, hot rocks and massage. Got both gel mani and pedi. Great array of gel colors. Showed them a Pinterest glitter design and they delivered. I've had faster service but I'm on vacation so I didn't mind. I would suggest mini waters or coffee bar or up the tip scale. Read Less

I've had much better pedicure & manicures. The manicure I got was rushed..didn't go around the cuticles and get hang nails,dry skin,etc. Expensive for what you get. Will look for anotherplace that pays more attention to detail and take their time. Read Less

Been here 3 times and loved it every time. Girls are nice they always rub your shoulders with an manicure.  I have never had anyone get my cuticles as well as they do too.  Gel/schlack always stays 2 weeks of not longer on me. Read Less
