Unfortunately, I wanted to like this place. My kids and I came in on a Wednesday morning hoping to get 4 mani/pedis. The lady working said she was the only one but she would call the owner/worker to come in. We agreed to stay and she started working on my 3 kids. 2 hours rolled by and 3 other customers walked in and out. The owner lost out on most likely 300 dollars in sales and for myself, due to time, I could not get my nails or toes done. So an additional 75. The individual working was nice however poor management of time and resources. I would have never stayed if I would have know the other worker was not coming in. Currently, still waiting for my kids to be done and we are hitting the 2.5 hour mark. Make sure you have the time or call ahead if you have more than one person. Massage chair was nice Read Less

I had a great time here. The ladies that work here are very friendly and the woman that helped me was amazing. I get a shellac manicure and am very picky with my nails when it comes to length and shape because they are my real nails. My nails were the perfect length and shape, she had me check my nails before painting and even asked if I would prefer a third coat of nail polish. I loved the way she cut my cuticles because she was very gentle and managed to get everything. The paint job was clean and even and the job never felt rushed. Had heard from a friend they did a good job, but I was dying to leave while I was trying to get pampered. I do better manicures on myself! I hate to leave bad reviews, but it was horrible! Nails are filed in such a strange shape, I had to remind her that she hadn't done the gel base coat, ask for another coat of polish because it was still transparent...there is polish all over my cuticles  and my finger tips were stuck to my nail with the polish. I went in with friends for a relaxing afternoon and was very disappointed. Even with making an appointment they were understaffed and therefore unable to finish all of our services at the same time, leaving some of us waiting for over 30 mins. until the others in our group were finished. The ladies doing our pedicures were really rough with our feet, kept gesturing toward us and talking and then just disappeared into the back for ages... we felt really uncomfortable and finally had to ask if we could pay so we could leave. As for the quality, my manicure didn't even last a day before it started chipping and the paint on my toes was uneven and bubbly. Also noticed that they don't clean their pedicure tubs, just change the plastic covers (which is so unsanitary). I would not return, or recommend. Read Less

I've been to a few salons in and around Wallingford without success... This one I'll stick to! The service was phenomenol. I had my eyebrows, hair, and nails done. I took up a lot of their time (5 hrs) and never once was I rushed!!!. I wasn't sure exactly what type of mani or pedi I wanted so Carmen explained the differences and listened to my concerns to find the right fit and my feet look and feel AMAZING!!!! I intended to do an allover color and cut but mentioned I wanted to do something crazy. My stylist Jen supported my crazy idea of spontaneously adding some hot pink to the underneath of my hair and I can say I've never been more happy with a decision!! I'm 8 months pregnant and my feet are very swollen. My husband called to see if they could see me on that day and they took me in immediately. The place is so beautiful, clean and relaxing. Everyone on the staff is so attentive and catering to you; very classy. Gloria the owner went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and pampered. With pregnancy, you have to have a special kind of pedicure and I was not aware of that. She was amazing. I felt great! She not only took care of me but also my 2 girls. WOW! I did not expect the level of incredible service that we received! I came in with my 2 month old. I've never been to a salon in Wallingford that is as clean and beautiful as this one. Started with a pedicure and all was fine. Not the best, but not the worst I've had. You can tell they thin their polish out for more use, because the OPI polish I chose didn't have that thick full coverage that they're known for. After the lady next to me finished, I saw that they DID NOT sanitize the foot tub after her use of it. All they did was put a plastic cover. By law, they still need to sanitize after each use. Even after this, I proceeded to have a full set done. My mistake. The files were worn down and over used. The tech then proceeded to file my nails without covering the entire bed. The heat alone made me pull my hands back. The techs weren't very knowledgeable about how to prep and kept saying that it's because my nails are thin. I know my hands and I this isn't my first rodeo. Never had an issue until now. The low stars is because of the lack of sanitation, lack of knowledge and the corners that they're cutting while charging full prices.Read Less

Stopped by for a manicure. The wait time was super short. However the actual manicure was only okay. They cut my cuticles a little bit too short, and used old tools when filing and cutting my nails. The nail polish also seems a little bit old or watered down. My nails chipped 3 hours after leaving the salon. This is a great spot for a quick, cheap manicure, but don't expect the manicure to last for a week. Read Less

My daughter (almost 4) and I went to Glorious yesterday for manicures - her first! I have to say, we were both very pleased. Not only do our nails look fabulous, but everyone on the staff was super nice, and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. My daughter cannot stop talking about the nice ladies from the salon. I told her we can go back again around her birthday, and her reply was "Is my birthday tomorrow?" Thank you all so much!!
