I've been going to Rose Hill Nail salon for a couple of years and have gotten acrylics, shellac manicures, pedicures, and waxing done. This has become my regular nail shop. You can almost always get in as a walk in. They take good care of me and recognize me as a regular. They often throw in a free arm/back massage if you get a mani/pedi. The real treat here is the leg massage! They are very generous with the time they spend on you-Love it!! Read Less

4 stars because the employees are really nice, the place is generally clean and their massage chairs actually work, however there were a few things that I wish had been better. Maybe I'll try another time to see. Got a regular pedicure and shellac manicure. Pedicure was great except she left some polish on the side of the nail which looked sloppy and I scraped it off later. It's not a huge deal but part of the reason I get my nails done at a salon is so that it make it look neat because I can't do that myself. I don't like to nit pick about things but I feel like I have to mention these:The inside of the UV light was not clean. I've been to other salons where they've used the exact same light so I know how it's supposed to feel. There was some weird goo or something inside and I could feel it on my fingers. It felt like lotion or vaseline or something. It was grossing me out so I mentioned to the technician but he just looked inside and said it was fine. I didn't want to make a fuss so I just went with it. The really weird thing: nail techs usually use a metal tool to scrape the old shellac off after softening it with acetone, but this guy used his (one) super long thumbnail! While I can't think of a reason why this would be particularly unhygienic since he washed his hands, it was still really weird and awkward. I was embarrassed so I didn't say anything and just let it be. Granted it gets the job done but it's just kind of... gross? Meh. There were also bits of shellac polish on the skin around my nail once they were done. Forgot to take a picture; it wasn't too bad, but still noticeable. Like a splotch on the side of the nail. So overall, cute salon and nice employees but it could be a lot better with a little more attention to detail... and scraping polish with an actual tool. Read Less

The ladies here are very nice and friendly, but unfortunately things didn't go well with me :( I was a walk in to get a manicure and Shellac, i was told to wait for 10 minutes...i waited 40 minutes. The only reason why I waited was because I had had waxing here before and it was great, so i was seated and the area was dirty with red acrylic residue from previous person the towel they use was not even cleaned. I feel like the manicure was rushed and when the Shellac came on it was not even smooth. There was bubbles on the Shellac and it was not an even coat. The 2 minute message hurt...but i said nothing because i didn't want to cause a scene and they were busy at this time. I also had waxing done but that was a different story, they did a good job. Michael, Lynn, Kimmy are the dream team. I love this salon. It's clean, friendly and they do a wonderful job. I've been coming here for about a year now. If you really want to relax and enjoy a long pedi ask for Michael, he always takes his time. I noticed it's set as $$ I feel the prices are very good. Also you get what you pay for. The ladies here are so sweet and work incredibly quick while doing a fantastic job! I highly recommend using their services and they are willing to fix any mishaps for free. I have driven from Shoreline to Kirkland to have my Mani/Pedi & eyebrow wax done by Lynn & Tracy for 11 years. They have a clean Salon and always make sure I am satisfied before I leave. I have a bad habit of accidentally bumping my nails when they are drying. After 11 years of me doing this, I have never seen them get upset or irritated, they just happily fix it. I have tried over the years to find a location closer to my home in Shoreline but I can never find one that comes close to the results that I get at Rose Hill Nail Salon. Plus I see them as more then just ladies that do my nails and wax my eyebrows I would say that they have become friends of sorts as they are genuine caring people that I look forward to seeing every few weeks. So nice! I love these ladies and on gent  they always do a great job! Brought in my mother in law, who's feet needed some serious attention. They did a great job! I've been to this salon a few times and it feels like home. I brought in my 7 month old baby, he's a handful and it was difficult to get a pedi and a acrylic re-fill with him on my lap. The technicians took turns bouncing him around and were very nice and pleasant about the whole thing. I received a pedicure and it was great. They take their time to give a good massage and used several different types of lotions and scrubs. There was some left over paint in places but nothing that wouldn't come off in the shower. I also got a shellac acrylic fill, it was a very routine procedure and turned out beautiful.I know some people prefer to not have much conversation, but this is my social hour to get out of the house. The owners talked the entire time and make you feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend to others. Read Less

Came here 8/2015. I received a regular manicure and it chipped TWO days later. Also when the technician was cleaning my nails, I started to bleed a little and she didn't seem to care. I do not recommend coming here. Very careless. Read Less

I have been to a lot of nail places around the Kirkland/Overlake area.  I found this gem about a year ago and have not gone anywhere else since.  They are honest on the wait time if they are busy which a lot of salons don't do.  Pedicures are nice and relaxing with their massaging chairs. They are quick with my fills which I appreciate without lacking quality.  They have a large nail polish selection and always getting new colors. Read Less

Very sloppy work, I got a shellac mani and a pedicure and the service time took a total of 25 minutes and the work was very inconsistent and sloppy. It looked like a child did my nails. I was so upset that I didn't tip the gal and she was very upset about that. She asked twice for a tip and then tried to shame me for not tipping for such a terrible service. She then very aggressively slapped me on the back and said merry Christmas. I will never go back to this place! Read Less

This is not my usual nail salon to go to but I was taking the girls I nanny out for a treat to get pedicure and manicures I went to a place close to their home. They were very nice but got all 3 of us done in less than 30mins. When my usual place I go to takes at the least 45mins. The girls manicures didn't even last 24hrs. They didn't buff them or anything. Went straight to only putting the nail polish on. I will never go back. Very disappointed. Not only with the way they did things but for the girls too:/ Read Less

This review is for Shellac mani only. My usual place couldn't get me in right away and I was in a hurry. 1 review... I thought what the heck, I'll give them a chance. Place looked clean enough, staff was friendly, quickly seated and a variety of colors to choose from. All downhill from there... The whole thing was rushed (no one was waiting after me) fastest Shellac I've ever gotten. Did not do a good job with cuticles, to remove my shellac she used a file and her nails! I asked her to keep the shape but file a little shorter...she started using the nail clipper and cut them shorter than I asked for. I left with uneven nails and I'm talking shape and length. Also, had the shellac paint on my fingers not just nails. You're probably wondering why didn't I ask her to fix it while I was there...I did about 4 times, she would mess with it and say its good now...I just wanted to leave and gave up. Read Less

I usually visit next door, but I always see a lot of customers go in and out of here so I decided to give this salon a try. I'm always concerned about how sanitary nail salons are but this one is very clean and they also have massage chairs. They definitely did not disappoint! Prices are very reasonable and the ladies are extremely nice. I had a shellac manicure done for $25 and they said it would be $15 if I don't need my nails filed and cuticles cut. I think it's $45 for shellac mani/pedi. Regular is like half that price. The lady also gave me a really nice hand/arm massage and even a shoulder massage, which I really needed! Went Sunday for a mani/pedi. It's always a little different depending on who does your service, but all in all very nice. For the mani/pedi they do the hand softening wax on hands & feet, I got a really good foot massage and a neck massage. Plus the chair is a massage chair. The cost was $32.00 for both.
