Have been going here for years through a few groups of management. They are friendly and get to know you. They try their best to fit you in if they are busy. There are some here that rush a bit more than others but it's not bad at all. Some of the Male workers here are amongst the most gentle and talented I've ever had do my nails. Most the time they are very careful and gentle, and the pricing is what you would expect for a small salon attached to a grocery store. They keep the place clean and are very hard workers. My one suggestion would be for them to slow down sometimes in order to be more detailed but it is not something that stops me from coming here. I don't go anywhere else now. Read Less

PLEASE DONT BOTHER!! I received the worst shellac manicure I have ever had!!! IT STARTED TO PEEL AFTER A DAY! No shellac manicure should ever peel after a day, let alone a week. By day three already two of my nails had peeled off. Still haven't made it to the week mark yet but I can tell more are peeling. From the get go I could tell my mani was bad. There were a few bumps at the bottom, my cuticles weren't cut back properly, and it wasn't painted to the edge of my nails. I literally could see them started to lift right after I got them. Really bums me out that day I decided to treat myself AND be nice and give a larger tip than expected. I was thinking of going back but after reading reviews online it sounds like they don't fix your mistakes, or if they do they make you wait really long AND PAY FOR THEM TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE! This is a very convenient location for me. I would have visit more often if I am more confident on their sanitize work on their tools. The tools always store inside a beat up box with a half peel label "CLEAN".  Today, I saw nail file dust all over the box. I can never see them pull tools out from the UV box. When asked, they always say yes the tools are clean. To the owner:  I don't mind to pay more if you can assure me how clean the tools are. About the polish job, it really depends on who is working on your nails and how busy they are at the moment. If I go, I definitely go during their off peak time to avoid rush job. This is the first nail salon I've visited since moving to Kirkland. Ill be honest, it was my first choice as it's very close to my home, but my experience was so good I'll be going back for future services. I went as a walk in, was greeted warmly, offered a water bottle and placed right in a chair. The services were wonderful! My toes, feet, and calves are soooo rejuvenated and happy right now. Been going here for 6 years. I highly recommend this place for pedicures. After trying several different people always ask for Lana and she's the best I've ever had. I have sensitive feet and she's very careful and gentle when cutting my nails. But her real talent is the foot massage and she has magic hands that take all my stress away. Unbelievable service...as in we NEVER WANT TO COME BACK! My wife came here a few times to get her nails done since we live right next door, but this last time will actually forever be the last time. It seems they've changed owners because we only see a few familiar faces but we mainly see new ones: The new lady who did her nails, Kathy, rushed through my wife's service and did not seem to care at all about my wife's thoughts throughout the whole appointment. We loved everyone else at the salon but Kathy is the only one who bothers my wife the most. My wife has had rude experiences with this particular lady as well- she would be saying something to my wife and then just turns and leaves without allowing time for my wife to give a reply. This kind of service is why they have such low ratings now and we will find a new salon with better customer service. If I'm paying money for my wife to get pampered, I want her to enjoy her time and relax- not get rushed and then pushed out the door so they can make more money. I had a lovely afternoon at this salon. The staff were very friendly, extremely detailed and the overall salon was very clean and pleasant. I had a Rose Spa pedicure and a UV gel manicure. The treatments are packed with lots of extras including lotion messages, paraffin treatments, and even a surprising upper back message. They are very capable of doing complex designs. HORRIBLE job on my nails and terrible customer service. I asked for a refund as the nails did not fit on the bed of my nails and the person who did my nails were really rough on them and my cuticles. The male who did my nails, raised his voice at me in front of customers and walked away. They would not issue a refund. My recommendation is to stay away from this place. Read Less

Got a pretty good French manicure here ($18), the lady doing my nails was quiet but pleasant to talk to and didn't rush me which was nice. I've been coming here for 3 years and have NEVER had a problem with cleanliness or paint chipping or whatever else people are complaining about.Every customer that walks in whether they've made an appointment or not, gets seated right away. I used to be a regular for eyebrow waxing and now I'll never go back. The staff is border line rude. The last time I visited, the lady who was waxing my eyebrows talked on her blue tooth the entire time. She was very rough and it was clear she was in a hurry. I mentioned that it hurt more than normal and she told me it was because the hairs were longer. I don't believe it, I've been getting my eyebrows waxed for 10+ years. I give them one star, only because they took my hard earned money.  This place is awful in all aspects.  First off they trimmed my toe nails and cuticles with dirty instruments.  Aftet  she aftet used them she put them back into the the cart drawers.  I put my feet into cold water to start with and I thought wow I thought it would be warm water.  Well when the pedicure was over the lady got up walked away and said nothing I sat for 5 minutes thinking she was going to work more on my dead skin on my heels.  I know the instruments were dirty because she rolled her cart over to the next victim and started working.  And when I got up a lady sat in my seat seat with out cleaning out the foot soak at all.  And she talked on the phone the entire time via blutooth. OK this was my first pedicure after talking with my wife and daughter it sucked I still have dead skin on heels.  I will venture to my wife and daughter's place next time to get it done right. I went here for eyebrows and Pedicure. Service was very average but the unacceptable part was hygiene of the salon and unprofessional staff.Why unhygienic ?  Wax bottles, wax kit, table, linings all were stained. I was horrified to see how untidy the inner room where they did eyebrows. White towel used as a bedspread was almost brown in color. How unprofessional ? Forget about engaging the customer and feeling their presence, all the ladies there were non stop chatting in their local language. It was seriously so frustrating as they did not even stop for a minute. At some point, I almost felt like they were talking about me. It felt very rude and unprofessional. Vin has done my nails and I have been satisfied.  Apparently today he was busy and a woman beat the hell out of my cuticles, nipped and cut me under my nails then superglued over the cuts; so much pain.  Then she slapped on a mess of lumpy nail polish and had to clean up all the nail edges with acetone.  I have NEVER had this happen and I was in tears from the pain of acetone in my filed open cuticles.  Hours later, my fingers all still hurt and I need to change this child-like nail polish application .  I just can't bear to use the polish remover.  Despite previous decent experiences, I'm giving one star.  When I called for an appointment you should have told me none were available rather than stick me with this maniac.  Customer lost. I've been coming here every 2-3 weeks to get my eyebrows, under arms, legs, and gel nails done. There is one lady who always does my nails and she is the BEST. I always make an appointment to make sure that they have time for me. service:  gel mani, recommended by friendpro:  nails looked good for 5 dayscons:1. station was gross - lots of nails and filings on the counter/wrist wrest2. got very upset when I wanted to see the actual bottles before choosing a color from the nail board, walked off in a huff muttering.3. Then put the color on her own nail to show me how it looks I guess?4. Used a buffer from a previous client on me, lots of white on that thing.5 Wiped the polish off my cuticle wiith her own nail (no gloves) 6. Ripped the heck out of my cuticles7. Small table fans were not turned on, and client next to me was getting fills, which made for quite the inhaled fumes.8. may be just my nails, but polish started to shrink after 5 days. 9.  pointed at garbage for me to throw away paper towel after washing my hands...but wasn't sure what she meant, since no English.10.  this place is not clean, unless you have pretty low expectations.bottom line: I will never go again, it was a traumatizing experience Read Less

[UPDATE 5/5/14: I miss their old pedicure massage chairs! They used to be really strong and massaged the crap out of your back. They new ones...you can barely feel the massage chair at all :( That was my favorite part about coming here. Service and pedis are still great though... ]I came in for the first time today and enjoyed my experience. Here are a few highlights (and low lights). Nail polish wall was a little chaotic. No organization to them (I like when they're arranged by color - less anxiety). Not a huge selection, but decent. Shellac colors were on separate wall. I'll have to try that out some other time. The guy working here did my pedicure. He was very nice. He shaped my nails as requested. Worked on my calluses - even busted out a dremel to grind them down. I kinda felt like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber. Slightly embarrassed. Anyway, he gave a great massage. It was on the rough side, but nothing near painful and I liked it :) The massage chairs are the best. Those things crank your back - loved it. The actual paint job wasn't spectacular. The polish didn't cover my entire toenail on two of the toes, but nothing major. Clean space, not too tacky on the decor. Mellow music playing in background (some 90's jams that brought back memories). Price was reasonable. $23/pedicure. I got in right away for my pedicure, but as I was leaving a wait had started. So come in early or make an appointment. They have earlier hours than most places, which is nice (opens 9:30a, 10a on Sunday). Just a mile from my house and I'll definitely be back. Read Less

In a "not recommended" review, Cat wrote scathing things about this company.  I was there during her "incident".  She was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered.  They asked her to wait for a few minutes and they would repair her nail as the shop was full.  She refused to wait and started arguing loudly.  Everyone in there tried to calmly stop her.  She swore, saying "Don't f... with me!"  I was close to calling 911 as I had my disabled daughter with me and I didn't know how far she would go.  This is a great shop.  I've gone there for years and have referred many people to this shop that love it.
