Came in on a thursday evening i didn't have to wait at all, the staff was quick and very helpful when finding me a color for the homecoming (very specific) burgundy nails i wanted :)They also did a great design on the corners of my nails that i absolutely adored!! the prices are great as well, even a punch card. would recommend to all in the Kirkland area or visiting!! This place is PURE STRESS! A large TV was playing horrifying news stories while terrible glam rock plays over the speakers!! I had an appointment and waited 15 minutes for the nail tech, Kathy. She complained that I came late in the day and then scalded my foot with the HOTTEST water I've ever placed my foot in and was barely apologetic! Once I arrive ed home, I noticed that the soles of my feet still had issues that was supposed to have resolved but, did not due to carelessness. I regret tipping her and will never go back to this place. It should have been relaxing! P.s. I've gone to this place a couple times before. The woman doing my nails cut my cuticle a few times and sealed in some blood with the UV polish, so I could still see it for the 2 weeks my nails lasted. They did my hands and feet at the same time, so the UV light for my fingernails had to sit on my lap and almost fell off a few times. I didn't feel pampered, I just felt uncomfortable trying to balance that large light on my lap while my feet (and therefore legs) were being moved around by the women doing my toenails. Read Less

Came in for a shellac manicure and traditional pedicure. The manicure was decent, but it started to crack and ware down on the tips within a few days, which is much faster than shellac usually lasts. The staff were nice, but I did feel kind of rushed, even though I showed up 90 minutes before closing and was out well before they closed. Read Less

never ever coming here again. worst service i've ever gotten. i was hoping for excellent service since this place has 4.4 stars. i saw one bad review and i should've listened to that review. but i decided to try it out anyways. i came in for a full set, but i asked if she could remove my previous acrylic that ive had to have new acrylics. she ended up breaking two of my own real nails. my whole finger was dripping in blood. i was worried that my real nail had fallen off. she couldn't do anything for about 10 minutes because of my nail constantly bleeding and the pain. i couldnt do my full set because of how damaged she left my nails so i ended up just doing a manicure. i was accompanied by my sister her work was not so great the lady was really rude. they didn't have enough work stations so they ended up finishing my manicure on a pedicure station! i know its a small place but could've waited until you finished me instead of taking in another customer. they also didn't have any drying stations so i ended up drying my nails by blowing it with my mouth! i was still charged full price. i was expected to atleast be paying half price for what happened but no i was charged full price. Sloppy trimming, even sloppier paint job, with nonchalant response to errors made. While cleaning my cuticle the lady was heavily involved in chatting with another lady on the next booth over and failed to pay a reasonable amount of attention with me and ended up painting my joints with cuticle oil instead. From ripping to pulling I felt some minor burning sensation which I kept to myself. End result of my cuticle is as if I'm a serial cuticle biter who hasn't missed a meal or two. Polish weren't even and it had bubbles from not brushing excess amount off before application. It also had this deflated balloon effect that occurs only when you apply too much of the polish onto your nails before the base set dries, haven't seen since my middle school days. When I showed these to the manicurist, she simply said let it dry, be careful and it'll go away... I'm not a professional but I don't see how bubbles trapped under topcoat or the wrinkles in my polish will go away, if I just "be careful"I even prepaid to prevent smudging and did not touch anything else after we finished, so I don't see how I could be more careful. Based on the polish job itself, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know. Read Less

So I called the number listed. Spoke with a lady and I asked her if they had time for a full set, she said yes. I then asked how much a full set would be she said $28. I then asked if she had colored acrylic powder and she said yes. I spent time in traffic to drive all the way out here to have them look at me like I was stupid when I said I'd like to do a full set and she told me to pick a color, I asked of I could see the powder color selection and then she said they don't do color acrylic. Really? I just talked to someone a half hour ago when I left who said you did. Okay, so I start to look at colors for shellac instead then she comes up to me and tell me she has an appt at 1 and that she'll start on me, then when the other gal gets here work on her, then when she's done will come back and work on me again... okay so I'm going sit here for an hour with unfinished nails just waiting for you to get done with your other full set client. I just walked out. In retrospect I should have made an appt. But the inconsistency here is insane. This is the 2nd time I've stopped by and walked out because of scheduling / pricing timing is f*cked up. But when someone calls in and they say they have time for a full set and they have plenty of staff, if you come in now? So I came in right away to just walk out. I'm not coming back here. Read Less

Stopped by for a fill without an appointment and they were able to take me right away. She was able to give me the nail length and shape I desired. This nail salon is absolutely amazing, this family business is so sweet and friendly. When I came in for a pedi and mani they were super welcoming and friendly. I chose my color and they put me on a seat and gave me some free refreshments, also their massage chair is sweet, it was absolutely relaxing. They're so many colors, so whatever color you're thinking of they probably have it. Their pedicures is absolutely amazing and definitely soothing. They're talkative and it's just a very friendly environment. After I got my pedi and mani the outcome reached my expectations. The workers are just so good. I absolutely recommend this place, this shop is clean and it doesn't reek with acetone. When you're around Kirkland definitely stop by Juanita Nails. Read Less

This place is GREAT I love going here.I was introduced to it by a friend about a year ago and I've been going to them ever since!My typical day here is getting a manicure with shellac nails, and there have so many variety of colors! I always go for darker colors, but they have a great selection of brighter colors for the summer and spring too! My favorite part is they take really good care of you. I've broken my nail completely in half before and they helped me fix it by using acrylic to keep it in place until it's healed. They do an amazing job with the acrylic, however I prefer to shape my nails in an almond shape when I have acrylic so that it looks more natural. In addition, they always give me tips on how to improve my nail health and what color would look best. As for pedicure, I've only done it twice because my feet are very ticklish, but the two times I've done it barely tickled! It was relaxing and the scrub feels great. For me pedicures are a great "pick-me-up" when I want to treat myself.I've never been disappointed going here and I now forever a regular! I highly recommend coming here. Read Less

Came in for a manicure today and was seated right away. My nails turned out very nice although there is a little bubbling on one finger. I appreciated the quick manicure and the hand massage was very nice. The back massage was a little awkward but at least they gave it some effort. Read Less

I highly recommend this salon! I walked in and was blown away. The pedicure was very relaxing and I really enjoyed the massage chair. The stylist was very friendly and also moisturized and massaged my feet and palms. My nails feel great and I feel like a new man. It's a great location, very easy to find, and lots of parking. This nail salon is awesome! Not only do they do a good job with the manicures and pedicures, but they are SUPER FRIENDLY. I've been here a few times and have always left satisfied! As a (lazy) college student, I highly recommend getting shellac/gel nails since it last a super long time (2-3 weeks). The price that they offer is super affordable, which is a definite plus. I was able to get right in.  I was greeted warmly. They were equitably polite to all the people that came in afterwards.   They were also willing to accommodate people's schedule.  The staff was very polite.   It appeared very clean and I am on the lookout for creepy diseases that sneak into your toes.   They didn't make me feel rushed, and it included paraffin wax and a bottle of water.  A good value with the nice staff I would highly recommend. This shop is cute, well done.  However, the quality of my nails was very, very poor. I went in a week ago for a gel polish.  I picked a color based on the guides they have hanging.  The manicurist began to work on my nails, and did not ask me if I wanted to keep the length, or what shape.  She did mostly a good job, they were a little shorter than I wanted, but most of them looked alright.  There were a couple that I asked to fix because the shape was wonky, or they were different shapes/lengths on different hands.  Turns out the color I picked didn't match the actual color of the polish.  So I went to pick another one.  Same thing.  I was looking for a nice pink color.  She didn't ask me if I liked the second color, but just went on painting.  Alright. So, when she finished, they were fine.  The color wasn't what I was looking for, and I had to go back and reshape a few of my nails.  The next morning, one of my nails had already chipped.  Now, a week later, the gel on one of the nails has snagged...not my nail under it - just the gel.  AND - the most annoying part - is that the color has yellowed.  It also is not consistently painted, so I can see variances in the polish on some nails.  But now they're somewhat a yellow, and pink, and they look terrible. I've been here twice - once for a mani and more recently for a mani/pedi.  Connie has done my mani both times and I've been so pleased.  I don't know the name of the woman who did my pedicure but she was great too.  Both times I was greeted warmly and shown to a chair right away and offered water.  The service is speedy but I didn't feel rushed.  The manicure (both times) lasted a long while with easy maintenance on my part.  I painted a clear top coat every other morning.  The prices are reasonable and being able to get in right away means I'll continue coming back to this nail salon. The place recently had a change of owners and they're a sweet family. The prices are great and the atmosphere is pleasant. I've gone here several times and always got the shellac!
