I am a nail art addict, so I'm usually on Yelp all the time browsing through photos to find new nail salons and can be pretty picky about where I go. Not to mention, I'm not a fan of acrylic so the art is always free form on my natural nail. I've come in with pictures and have had nail technicians flat out tell me they won't do it, even when the examples are from their photo gallery or similar to.I had a completely different and so much more pleasant experience at Envy. I was worried at first because I thought my example design made the technician a bit nervous, but she never said no. Ok, I've found my new go to salon! Mina did my pedicure, she was wonderful! My big toe was tender and she very gently cleaned it, said it was an ingrown toenail but she took care of it and there is no more pain. She also took care of all my dry skin and gave me a beautiful pedicure!There were two other clients who had  driven from Carnation!! Apparently all 3 manicurists worked together in Duvall and moved here in February and have a following. They are all amazing and kind! So thankful to have found this place!! Read Less

I got an acrylic fill with a shellac. I must highlight that this is the first nail place in this area to not push back when I asked for a certain shape (short rounds)  also first nail place to give me what I asked for exactly. That is worth all the points. This is a small clean location that seemed busy I recommend making an appointment but they do accommodate walk ins. Prices for services are more than fair. All nail artists/techs seem to give great attention to detail. The only minor negative is not within the shops control there is a bar three doors down and the people come out to smoke and are audible. plus side is you may hear an interesting story or two. My bestie and I discovered this wonderful little hole in the wall last month. We needed a new place for a mani and pedi outing and this place was great!!! The techs are so sweet and nice! They are extremely detail oriented and literally the best manicure I've ever had! My nails have never looked this great! Fantastic mani pedi with amazing attention to detail. Just moved here from NYC and the prices here are a lot higher but it was worth it. I got the 'tropical' pedicure which includes a leg massage and mask containing eucalyptus. I'm currently marathon training and this was a much needed treat for my feet. Nails came out amazing also. Just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a new spot and checked out this place after reading the positive reviews. It's small and low-key, but they got me in for a pedi and shellac mani right away, and did a beautiful job on the mess of my cuticles (we just moved house, so they were pretty beat up). My biggest complaint is that the tools don't seem to be properly sterilized. They weren't wrapped or anything. Also, my pedicurist left me in the middle of my session and started on a woman who was a walk in so someone else came and worked on me. I didn't care for that. Then I felt like one of my toenails was shaped oddly- basically crooked. I told woman #2 and she told woman #1 and it seemed woman #1 was not pleased to hear this. She barely fixed it. Walked in on a Monday at 5pm and was seated right away.  I had a great pedicure and my tech spent a great deal of attention on my feet - very impressive.  I also got a french shellac manicure.  I can't speak on how long it will last, but the manicure looks great.  He gave my cuticles the attention they needed and was very precise in all things. This place is amazing! I called at around 1:30 today to see if they had any openings, and they had me down for a 2pm shellac manicure and spa pedi in moments. I was the only person in the shop the entire time, and truly, I shouldn't have been. These ladies are great! The massages (both leg and arm) were extended and wonderful, and both ladies took so much care prepping my nails for polish. Just moved to the area and needed to find a new nail spot. After looking over the reviews I decided to give Envy a try. I came in at 1 o'clock on a Wednesday and was taken right away. I was welcomed with warmth and kindness, offered something to drink, and just overall made to fill very comfortable. It can be intimidating to visit a new salon but I felt comfortable here right away. My gel manicure looks perfect (and I am one of the more temperamental gel clients - just very specific about what I like). My pedicure was relaxing and done very well. Came in this morning to get my first set acrylics, and Hannah was so patient with me and even made the shape exactly what I wanted. Even after she got the shape perfect I changed my mind to shorten them and was not rude at all about my decision and was genuinely happy to get them perfect for me. Their assortment of colors for shellac polish was huge and they even had a matte top coat, something I've been looking for! I love how clean this salon is and organized! So easy to look through the colors and had them very well labeled. Never knew there was color changing polish but definitely will try that the next time I come in! While I got my nails done my bf enjoyed a mani pedi, they gave a strong handed massage and were very attentive to detail. My little sister and I have a Valentine's Day ritual of getting our nails done with acrylics but we were busy on that day and decided to go to the closest yet reputable nail salon instead of our usual which was booked. I will NEVER go back to this place. My sister's cuticle was ripped by the electric filer and left bleeding yet ignored. I received glares and treated like I was stupid when my hands (which shake from medical issues) barely nicked the paint on one finger and needed one extra coat. This made me too scared to ask when the top got smudged when I was rushed from the chair. They failed to make even an almond shape nail on my sister after her asking multiple times.Overall the quality was mediocre, by the end our real nails were in pain, and the service was more intimidating than inviting. It was my first time at Envy Nails today and I absolutely love it. Lily and her sister and Mum are so meticulous and detail-oriented. The decor may be a bit dated but the service, skills and reasonable pricing more than makes up for it! It's $47 for gelish mani & basic pedi, but you just need to top up another $15 for a gelish mani. And it's absolutely worth it. They do a really nice job with the sugar scrub, massage as well as a paraffin hand wrap. I'm definitely going back and bringing my husband along. Read Less

I have been here a couple of times now and each time I walk away thinking "they did a pretty darn good job!" So....it's not the cutest place. There are nicer places. Duh. But each technician that has worked on my nails, has been so detail oriented and precise (my type-A personality truly appreciates that). Every summer I come back to Racine and frequent Ivy Nails. I usually request Max, who does an amazing job.  My last appointment, in late July, I had a very nice pedicure and the tech even offered to put an extra coat of polish on to be sure that I was happy with the color. The tech who did my fill and gel polish was a young man a couple rows back on the right side of the shop though I do not remember his name.  He did an amazing job on my nails, giving them a very nice squared shape without making them look wide. I went a full three weeks without any lifting or issues, somewhat of a miracle for me.  I have had nothing but positive experiences at Ivy nails - Racine and was very excited to see them expand over the past year. I went to Envy Nails for the first time today and am so happy with the whole experience! Lily was there with her mom and another worker, all were very nice. I went in at 1 - was seated as I walked in - without an appointment on a Tuesday! Lily's mom started my pedicure after I picked out my colors and treated me very nicely. The other worker (who's name I didn't get) and Lily both worked on my hard (Lily painted my nails and the other lady did the rest). It was my first time with the paraffin wax and I am addicted already! The sugar scrub and massage was very nice too! Next time I"m going to get a hot stone massage added in! I got 3D nail art and even though it was her first time doing that design she did great! She's super detail oriented and took her time making my nails look as neat as possible. I have been to nail salons all over Kirkland, and this is my favorite place to go. I have been dreading writing this review, because I don't want to share the secret. Lily and her sweet mother are so good at what they do, and they are not afraid to turn away customers so they can give you their full attention. They have a pedicure and gel manicure combo that is $5 less than if you got each service a la carte - my favorite option.Not only do they take their time and pay attention to detail, but they are also generous with a scrub on the legs/feet, paraffin wax treatment on feet and hands and lengthy massage. It's really like a spa experience. It's a very small salon and sandwiched between two bars, which I'm sure deters some clientele. But it's very clean, and they take care to really clean the basins and their utensils.All of my mani's/pedi's I've had here have been perfect - no complaints! Read Less

Not a great place. First of all, the work is sloppy and fast (you get what you pay for I guess). I went last night with my friend and the nail technician helped her roll up her sleeves and got wet nail polish all over her brand new (expensive) sweater. She did try to get it off with acetone which did not work and then she even charged my friend full price for her manicure. When I asked the owner if she was planning to pay for her dry cleaning and why she was charging her, she acted like she did not speak any english. In my opinion, there is a universal language for what she did and even if she did not understand me, she was WELL AWARE of the damage that she caused and she should have not have had to pay for her service. Her sweater was $148 and was brand new and is now ruined. To top it off, my manicure was quick and I had to ask for the massage part. (they were trying to skip that) and some of the nails are smudged and uneven. There are plenty of nail places in the Juanita area and I do not plan to return. Read Less

I like queen nails salon quiet and nice clean atmosphere and their technician are great. It's easy to make appoitment .I like kelly do my nails she did a perfect job I did tried many places but not the same. She did very good job, and their price only 23 dollars for a full new set. So i'll refer more of my friends come to see her soon.
