I saw nail fungus growing under my clear nail polish a few days after my manicure which was already chipping and peeling. I immediately took it off. I waited to remove my toe nail polish hoping it was just the other nail polish that was contaminated. Unfortunately, several of my toes now have nail fungus too. I'll have to wait until they grow out in order for me to get another mani/pedi. The service was 't even good either. It was extremely rushed even though I had made an appointment. They seemed more worried about taking new customers than they did about the customers getting a service. DO NOT RISK it! Read Less

I gave this place not 1, not 2, but 3 chances! I won't be back. The reason for the 3 chances was I needed to definitely make the correlation between my french shellac manicures turning yellow and my nails turning brittle and breaking. I have definitively proven that it only happens when I get a french shellac manicure at BB Salon. I've researched these type of bad results online and have discovered that is has to be accredited to cheap product(s) the BB Salon uses for their french shellac manicures. I have also done my research by visiting other salons and finding that the results are always 100% better than what happens after I get a manicure a BB. With the other salons, my nails have NEVER turned yellow or brittle afterwards. As a matter of fact, the nails just keep growing longer until I eventually go in for my next manicure, which lasts a full month! Read Less

The spa pedicures are AMAZING, sugar scrub, mud mask, multiple massages followed up with hot stones and my toes nails always look fantastic. I am also addicted to the shallac manicures. I always recommend BB to anyone looking for an excellent mani/pedi salon. They also do waxing and eyelash extentions.Read Less

Been here several times over the past 5 years. The owner takes a lot of pride in his business and does a good job, I respect that. The last few times I've come in however, I've not had the best experience. Typically when I walk in, everyone is on their phone or iPad and hardly acknowledge you. I had a shellac mani/pedi done by the younger kids that work there. After putting my right hand shellac on I realized it was all clumpy. The young man was very nice and removed all of that hand and re did it. My toes turned out a little better than my fingers, but still was a quick job. I left with shellac on my skin in many places for $75... not sure I'll be going back. Read Less

I have not been here for a couple of years . I get my nails done with B and she is wonderful. I also got my lashes done there with Lee . She is nice but very slow . I want happy the first time visit so she corrected and it's now very good . I would recommend getting a comfortable bed cause it hurts my neck and back to say still for 2 hours . I came here today for the first time and got a deluxe pedi! Loved it. Very long massage with perfect amount of pressure (I hate it when they hardly use any pressure for the massage part) Loved the mask on my legs and the hot stones too. They have a larger selection of polish colors and the inside is clean and very nice. I will be back. Glad I finally found a nail salon near my new home that I like. Read Less

I don't know why the reviews aren't that good here. I like the place, and here's why:1. It's a 3 minute walk from my apartment 2. I've never had to wait3. This place is for the dogs, literally and figuratively. The owner allowed a small aggressive Yorkie dog to be  brought into her shop. It repeatedly barked and lunged at other customers as well as people walking outside the shop. While the owner was getting her nails done, the dog came loose and bit me on the leg as I was moving to the drying station. I repeatedly advised the dog's owner and the shop's owner to move the animal to the car. The shop owner replied that it would be ok that they would tie the dog up tighter. I found this to be unacceptable behavior for a business owner. The fact that they would allow a blatantly aggressive animal into the shop with no regard for their other clients even after it had attacked. I was left no choice but to leave (without being fully dry- and now I need yet another manicure) and call Animal Care and Control and leave a compliant against the business. Read Less

BB Nails is the best!  Tim always does my nails, and he takes his time to do a really great job every time!  Lee does a wonderful job on my pedicures. The salon is clean and everyone is relaxed and friendly. I've been to a lot of places, but these guys consistently do the best job! Read Less

I'm always pretty happy with everyone's work here. My acrylics last the two weeks and my pedi's easily a month. They could massage me feet harder but I kinda like it rough and am to shy to ask for it so that's more on me. Everyone is friendly and they can seem to always get me in so that's nice. Read Less

This was my second time here. First was for a bridal party so that was hard to judge. My second time I came here with my husband for two spa pedicures. Upon entering I asked if his service would be cheaper because he would not need color, the lady working said yes. Overall service was good. My polish ended up staying for about a week and a half. When we went to pay, the same lady said that we were the same price because my husband had more "massage" time while I was receiving polish. False. He was patiently waiting with his shoes on the entire time I had polish put on. My only complaint of this place ... Hence the low stars. Read Less

I love this place! Staff is talented, friendly and accomodating! Great spa pedicure and massage and I get biweekly shellac manicures that are always awesome. The only negative thing I have to say is that there was one time when I was the only person there and the entire staff with the exception of my manicurist was eating snacks and one lady even sitting right next to me eating an apple and watching Hulu! I came here with my sister-in-law. I was happy we were able to get in within an hours notice. The girls who did our pedicures were very friendly and my girl gave me an amazing massage! The polish application was perfect as well and the pedi was priced right too. The salon is clean too. The only down side is finding parking. We'll be coming back here for sure! Read Less

It was clean and nice inside, but the service and skill level was quite low. I am not satisfied with my nails; they left the nail polish lumpy and scarred. For my toenails, I went with the French toenails. Once again, you can see lumps of nail polish, and the line was crooked and uneven. Not to mention that the price wasn't too great either. When I told the employee about my dissatisfaction at the counter, he didn't bother taking care of it, and just took my card and continued on with what he was doing. I thought the nails I had done here were pretty good but after a week, they were coming off and when I went to another salon to ask to have it fixed they told me the lady who did them made them very thick and that was poorly done. The place was nice overall, looks clean so I can only hope the tools they use are clean.  The staff were very nice, speaking among each other with their own language was not an issue for me. The only thing that I did not like the fact that they only accept cash for payments.  I did not now that and when I went it was time to pay, I was infomred that cash or checks.  So, I had to walk  and get cash from the ATM.  Who does not accpt credit cards these days.........????     so, in the future, i will stop by the ATM first. I had been going there for about a couple months.  The ladies move around like they are on a chain gang, talking in their own language and laughing.  The last time I went there I acquired a fungus, bec ause they do not clean or sanitize their tools.  They just go from one person to another.  My girl friend also acquired a fungus and we both had to go to a Podiatrist for the infection.  I would never recommend this place, it looks nice from the outside and the inside looked clean, but their tools are not clean or sanitrized.  I believe the State of Washington Health Dept would like to know about them. If I could negative stars I would.....Within 5 minutes of being there the girls started talking about my friend and I. Yes, in most salons there is some degree of trash talk, but this got more and more overboard as we stayed. At one point, one of the girls told another to "hurry up and paint those two bitches nails so we can go home early." WTF?!? What kills me is that I'm Vietnamese and understood every word, but they apparently didn't care or think I was Vietnamese. About forty minutes in, one of the girls finally asked if I was Filipino....I said no I was Viet....next question from her was "oh but you don't speak"....my response was "I speak fluent". They then sat there grilling me with questions in Vietnamese trying to test how fluent I actually was. Eventually they realized I did understand them and still not a single apology.Finally when we were all done, the job was just mediocre. When we tried to pay they said they don't take credit card. Cash or check only. So she tells one of us to run across the street to go get cash. WTF...what business doesn't take credit card anymore!! Read Less

I came here New Year's Eve with a friend who'd been a regular before she moved. We both went for fun colors, and settled down to enjoy our pampering.The technician working on my nails was excellent. She had to soak my gels off, which took a while, but she didn't ruin my natural nails in the process, which I appreciated. The end result was amazing, and I will definitely be back. Read Less

I went to BB Nails for years for acrylic nails and the occasional pedicure. I was never terribly impressed with the finished product or their service, but kept going for lack of a better place to go (that affordable). I was always a little freaked out when I observed the fact they NEVER sanitized anything, but nothing happened....that it is until I got really nasty infection on my toe from a pedicure. I had to go on some heavy duty antibiotics and have the wound drained. It bothers me that WA health services doesn't crack the whip on dirty nail shacks like this one...especially with the scary bugs that exist today. Beware. Read Less
