My 3rd time here. She doesn't clean under my nails. They are nice and clean. They are always busy, it's almost a week to 2 weeks wait. Chairs are comfortable. But sometimes they tag team a client. Leaving me no choice but to tip more. I like the place, but they need to switch to seche vite top coat. It would look better plus last longer. Other than that I have 3 more sessions with them. Will never come here again. I called a week in advanced and made an appointment in which I ended up having to still wait for someone to help me early in the morning. The younger male technician destroyed my nails. When he filed my nails he caused indentations from the file to the middle of ALL of my nails. Now I have rough ugly indentations on all of my nails. Now I have to wait months for my nails to grow out back out for my nails to normal and healthy. I'm very dissapointed and highly upset. They're nice there but extremely busy (most nail shops are so I was thinking o biggy until..) they left me sitting for my pedicure for about 25 minutes to where the water was cold. I've never had that happen before and I've been to many a nail shops Also the lady that was doing my nails had a bloody scab on her face and she touched it while she was in the middle of doing my nails and that's pretty disgusting, she also cleaned under her nails right in front of me while I was letting my hands dry, by using one of the tools that you use to clean my nails with but that was kind of strange. I usually get a mani-pedi and my eyelash extensions done here. The owner and the oldest lady are the only people who are friendly. I've had a few bad experiences but, my last visit made me never want to come back again.They prefer not to schedule you in if you have a Groupon and I get that the Groupon price is really cheap but, if they are too booked to take clients and do not like when their clients buy Groupons they should just remove their services off Groupon or consider opening on Sundays.I am especially disappointed with this place because I was doing them a favor by not buying the Groupon and instead paying them directly. They usually tell me they could match the price but, they still charged me extra when I could have easily bought the Groupon for the right price at that moment. I wouldn't mind paying the full price because the prices are reasonable but, at that moment I wasn't satisfied they were not accommodating at all and rushed me.I also can understand the conversations that are made around the salon. I haven't been here for many years but it was one of my favorite places to stop by for my nail fixing needs back then. However now it's an okay place, they do get busy however I felt that the nail work was a bit rushed. My nail polish was a bit lumpy. When my nails were being filed I was a bit worried, she was working on my nails really fast. It was a bit painful. They are all very friendly but feel that they should slow down a little to give a bit more attention to the nail work. Terrible service and I didn't even walk in the door! Called, just ask to set up an appointment time, and at first she was like okay, what do you want done? I'd give them a zero if I could. Very unprofessional and racist. I had an appt. And as I was parking a car leaving the nail shop Asian male driving, backed into me. The guy left scene but returned to get his wife. At that time, I tried to get his info, but he didn't have insurance, licence or registration ....I couldn't get his info, so I called the police. It took maybe 20-30 min to sort everything out. And I had informed them of what had happened. The shop was surprisi...ngly empty but they said, I missed my appt. And refuse to do my nails. The owner was very rude told me I couldn't wait after other lady told me it was ok. The owner told me to make an appt when I have more time. As if the accident was my fault. I got my lashes done yesterday and wasnt happy with what she had done. She was too fast i feel like she was rushing, it didnt look as full as i wanted, after she had done my lashes she made me hold the fan infront of my face while she was on her phone using her fb! Then i had my lags waxed that too wasnt a pleasing experience, they both were rushing and were not professional, they had left the door cracked while doing the waxing and i felt so awkward, they didnt do a good job either they left so much hair, the only thing that i liked was the mani and pedi... it was suppose to be a great experience because it was my birthday treat for myself but it was a big fail! I have been getting my eyelashes done here for years. They are fast and you can't beat the price! It is always busy so make sure you call ahead of time to schedule an appointment. The only downside is the parking as they share a small parking lot with kingdom barbershop which is always busy as well. I had my eyelash extensions done here because I purchased the groupon. It was the worst experience ever. The procedure took only 45 minutes. Other places it takes about 1.5 hrs. They did not clean my lashes before applying fake ones even after I asked to do so. After it was done, I could not to open my eyes for a while, my eyes were burning. This is my second time here because of a groupon. The second experience was worse than the first . Didn't get me seated till I repeatedly asked even though chairs were empty and technicians were sitting around . Half an hour later I got seated . The nail technician did not listen as I shared how I wanted my nails . I was rushed out both times . The second time (today) I was adamant they fix the nail polish since it smudged immediately because it wasn't dry. They begrudgingly fixed in. I had to ask them to put the top coat back on. This place is absolutely horrible . They don't listen . When they cut my nails they just let it fall on the floor . Haven't seen anyone sweep that up either . So even hygiene is iffy at this point . I had a Groupon here .  Big mistake.Appointment didn't seem to matter, they took walk ins before me. (And I booked 2 wks out). There was no real foot massage, as was suppose to be with this Groupon. So disappointing! I feel like I just wasted so much money. DO NOT buy the Groupon deal!!! I bought 3 mani, pedis, and foot massages. Never got the massages (unless putting on lotion counts as a massage.) They cut our cuticles, which should NEVER happen. Cuticles should be pushed back. Cheap polish and scant color choices. Two of my friend's nails were severely smudged. When we pointed it out, they just painted a coat over it - with the wrong color!! So bad. The place was dirty. Two weeks in advance I made our appointment, but they would not do all 3 of us at once, they said they didn't have enough space...When we showed up, they had 5 chairs open, they leave room for walk-ins. Took my kiddo for a little pampering before her 8th grade graduation & it was worth the price. They had the perfect colors to match her dress & her nails turned out beatifully. I too purchased the groupon full set pedi and foot massage. My polish is really thin in my nails you can see the brush streaks. Umm when it came to the pedi; never been so insulted. I've been here two times and both times purchased the $19.99 for a mani pedi but upgrade for a mani shellac for $15 more The prices are good for a hurry. I feel like my pedis are always better than my mani which is unfortunate. They take their time and listen to your request but I their shellac colors are limited and not always what they have on display. This time I wanted a lighter / pale pink  #122 but it turned out to actually be kinda bright. They also don't get close to the nail bed, and then it makes my nail look kinda weird which you can see in the pictures. Some employees are really nice and others are less friendly. I only ever get my lashes done during spring and summer time due to allergies. Quinn is a miracle worker! But for the first time I had a different lady do my lashes there, and it was just AWFUL... they were coming off in just a few days. Please use caution when considering going to this place. I did read the reviews and saw the uncaring bottled responses from the management. I thought why bother responding to all these negative reviews if you're just going to lay blame on something else that had nothing to do with their complaint to begin with? Needless to say I decided to proceed anyway with making an appointment and form my own opinion through first hand experience and if it didn't go well I could see if I too got a non-interested response from management as well.Here is my review of my 4 minutes in the salon : I sat down for a pedicure and was sprayed by the incompetent young girl that was going to do my pedicure, she didn't just spray me once but 3 times in a row!  I was offered a few towels to dry off and to wipe their seat down and a "I'm sorry" with a giggle and smile attached to it. I let her know I was leaving because I didn't want to sit for half an hour in soaking wet jeans. So I got up and left and yes I did thank them for unwanted shower. DO NOT let Natalie do your eye lash extensions. She completely glued all my eyelashes together and glued the lashes directly to my eyelid. Had to go back in the next day and have them removed in which they used nail polish remover to do this and it stung horribly. I have literally no eye lashes now. The owner Mindy? does do lashes really good, but I just can't trust that I will get her every time and I will not go thru that nightmare again. This place is ridiculous I came here once to get my nails done & they were super rude the first time saying that they couldn't help me because they were closing in an hour . I purchased a Groupon for a mani/pedi and 10 minute foot massage. I opted to do shellac on my toes (extra $15) and I got a design on my nails and toes which was an extra $5. The 10 minute foot massage was lacking - the only massaging was with a sugar scrub for 30 seconds then some lotion rubbed on my calves. I was very disappointed in that part of it. Why include it in the Groupon if most people don't receive it?The polish job was okay. My nails are already starting to wear on the tips just a day later and the paint next to my cuticles is really uneven. I got a glitter design on my nails and toes and it just looks really clumpy instead of like a dusting of glitter like I wanted. Read Less

The nail technician that I had was very unwelcoming and unfriendly toward me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and my business was not appreciated. For a first time customer I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable. I inquired about eyelash extensions in which I was told make appointment three days later. Prior to my arrival, I called to schedule an appointment for all the services I wanted and no one answered the phone. I was a bit upset because my intended services were not priority to them. I also saw how another customer after me was greeted and warm welcomed by the same nail technicians who were servicing myself. So it was literally a slap in the face. They definitely need to work on bettering customer service skills and being kind to every customer and not just some. I have been to this location a few times. The service is average. But I went to get a full set two weeks ago and my nails have popped off randomly and started lifting two days after the set. They were arguing with each other while I was there and I think the lady who was working on me (Kim) was distracted. I went to Nails Design without an appointment and I was so disappointed with the service. It took a total of over three hours to get my services completed. First, I waited for over an hour before getting my pedicure done and then I was asked to move to another spot where the rest of my waiting took placed. The sad part was my technician left me after cleaning my nails without telling me where she was going. I kept asking the other technician where she went and all I got was ..."she be back". From time to time the manager reassured me that someone will be there to do my nail. I wonder why she just didn't do it herself knowing I've been waiting for quite sometime. As I wait I've seen walk ins customers getting service and out of the shop before I did. My friend and I finally had it. My friend questioned the manager about what's going on and I spoke to another technician to get someone else. Finally someone came over and painted my nails, but once again I had to wait until finally the manager came to finished the rest of my manicure. I was so disgusted by their service and do not wish anyone to be treated as I did. Don't go there without an appointment.
