I’ve been getting my shellac manicures and pedicures at Le’von Nails for years. I’m very particular, love their work, and have nothing but good service from them. I’ve recommended their services to everyone I know. In the past 6 months I have seen a decrease in customer service and unfortunately just cannot go through the day without an honest rating anymore. I came into the salon today with a particular design in mind found on Pinterest. I asked up front if the elderly lady could do it and how much I would be charged. She said she could do it and I asked 4 times to make sure the language barrier was not an issue. Sure enough, when I asked how come she did not make my pinky fingers with the french manicure look like in the photo, she said she could but for extra money. No, that’s not what we agreed upon and I said very firmly that she agreed to do what the photo looks like and now she’s asking for more money? I was even willing to just have her paint white over my painted nails as just a workaround, but she wanted more money. I said no. To top this off, I am Vietnamese and could understand her mumbling underneath her breathe (in Vietnamese) about how I was being rude to call her out on her promise to deliver. She also said to her coworker that I was being difficult with haggling the exact cost of the job. This is why these places do not tell you the price upfront. Many places are not honest about it and I thought this place was different. I have enjoyed their services these past several years, tipping at least 20% each time. I’m really sad to have heard her comments to her coworkers. It does not make me want to return. I wouldn’t normally care any other day, but I am heading to an important ballgown event the next day and this is the look I wanted. It’s unfortunate, she could not deliver and it’s unfortunate how she treated me. Went here for a early pedicure and shellac manicure got there at 9am since they open early and got taken care of right away. Even though 30 min after they had ppl spilling through the doors I didn't feel like they rushed. Showed them the design I wanted but in a different color and they did exactly what I wanted. I stopped by here without an appointment for a full set last Friday, the salon was clean and professional and everyone was friendly! There was only a brief wait even though they were quite busy, and my nail tech did a fantastic job! I'll be back for sure to try out some of their fun nail art! Read Less

The first time I went was amazing and the 2nd time not so much .A fill and a pedicure for $69 ..I was so livid when I left because she charged me to keep the shape of my nails without telling me and when you see the picture they are clearly crooked.I asked for gel and she used shellac just because to charge me another $15 dollars.I'm extremely dissatisfied. The first time I went there they were rude to another customer but for some reason I decided to try them again.Not my finest decision.I'll try to keep this short.I went in for a fill and polish change. She started by taking off my whole acrylic all the while talking to the other staff so that I could not understand.Then she blamed me saying I had something done that they did not do there which was odd because I got them done there less than 2 weeks before. After an hour of all that she starts putting polish on my bare nail. So I reminded her that I wanted to keep my tips so I would need new ones because I only came in for a fill. She argued with me about that too then argued with me about wanting a polish change. After the argument about a polish change she could not even tell me the difference between a change and a manicure. After all of that taking 2 hours my nails were hurried through, filed crooked, and they charged me more than they said it would be originally. Rude undereducated staff and poor workmanship. When I first came in I had a really good experience so I decided to go ahead and get a classy nail design that I knew would cost a good dollar also that I knew would be time consuming and so I came today on the seventh my appointment was at 3:30 mind you I was a few minutes late I would say about seven minutes late I know that's unprofessional but I tip good so I figured it would be exceptional plus I called to let them know that I will be running late before my actual time start. I ended up being passed over from the person I was supposed to be sitting in front of to get my nails done to go to her protégé. he did a good job on my nails I'm not going to complain about them because he took his time and he perfected on my nails were actually not shaped right prior to me coming there because I also had to pay for a full set from someone else and then get the design done by Yvonne. Due to her not taking on any new clients so that was fine I figured she would've put some time aside to get my nails done but I guess she tells me that she thought I was going to get a 15 minute polish I did not drive all the way from Seattle to Kent during traffic hours to get a 15 minute polish I showed her my design she passes me over I ended up getting it done once it came time to wash my nails I see that I have a purple rhinestone in my nails I did not Initially see that but I ended up seeing it after so I let them know it does not go with my color scheme of my nails and I don't like it and want it fixed. The gentleman complained about his time and also tells me that I seen it and I okayed it. First off it shouldn't be for debate if I don't like it fix it that's what I'm paying you for it's my money. Then they total me out and the total cost was $65 for the design plus a five dollar tip that I gave them so mind you they did not do my full set I went to a separate location and paid $45 for them. And still did not get what I wanted. I had a very poor experience and I do not think I will be returning again I did not like their attitude I did not like how she passed me over when I waited 3 1/2 weeks to even sit in her chair I feel like she just felt as if I wasn't a priority and I just don't like that experience at all. I wanted a new full set. My nails were acrylic tips with gel nail polish. When the lady was removing my nails she didn't presoak them she just started ripping them off. She cut my index finger continued working on my nail while it was bleeding. Very unsanitary and painful. She didn't get a new nail clipper after cutting me nor did she sanitize it. I stop the service because while she was ripping my nails off it became too painful to tolerate. I walked out in tears. State boards should really inspect this place and write them up for not sanitizing their tools. I feel bad for the next person she service using the bloody nail clippers on them. If I could give zero stars I would. I came in wanting a new full set. As the lady was removing my nails incorrectly she cut me with her unsanitary nail clippers continued to remove my nail as it was bleeding. Then super glued it. I let her continue on my other hand because stuff happens. But she continued hurting me I told her and she made it seem as if it were my fault. I've been here on and off for about 3 years. I switch back and forth bc there is another salon that is closer to me but I like the service and quality at Le'von better. Whelp, after a few years of back and forth I've finally made the full switch. Even if this is further, it's so worth it. No matter who does my nails, they always turn out perfect- I'm super picky and will stare at my nails constantly if anything is off. Great consistent quality and fast service. That's all I need. They aren't like super talky but I prefer that. I just want to get in and get out with some great nails- no need for small talk. INCONSISTENT!! I've put off writing a review for this place because I try to give it a few chances before saying anything.  I've come to this nail shop about every 3-4 weeks.  There is a nail technician who every time I get her she puts too much nail polish on that it floods the side of my nails. She doesn't clean the edge so when I get shellac it lifts and catches on my hair.  Last time I went there I was over charged for my color change but let it go because I was just happy that the nail tech who did my nails, did them well.  I came in again for a color change and when I asked for my shape to be almond, she replied with an annoyed look that "it already was".  I didn't want to argue and just wanted to leave.  My sister who was with me was getting her nails done with Mary and I know Mary heard what I had requested.  I showed my sister my nails and she asked Mary to fix my shape when she was done.  Mary was so nice, I didn't have to tell her what shape she knew my nails weren't done right and she fixed it.  It's extremely frustrating that they are inconsistent with their work, it shouldn't vary as much as it does here.  If you can't book with Evon, I suggest Mary, Nancy, or Mai. Honestly, the more I come here, the less I like it. I had a younger girl smell like fried food do my nails, and when she had to fix a smudge near closing, the other techs walked over and laughed and spoke in a different language. I could tell she was frustrated, by her being more rough with my hands.How relaxing!!  Today, I got a mani pedi, and I asked the guy doing my manicure if I could have what was in the picture. When I asked about the finger that was all glitter, he said I didn't ask for that, sped through it, and walked off without saying a word. There's white paint outside of the nail, and my glitter looks nothing like the picture. Honestly, only go there for the owner, Evon to do your services. Today will be my last day to go to this salon. After having been going there for the last several months since I have moved I am over being asked repeatedly about getting my daughter shellac. They say bc it's expensive but I am the one paying for it and shouldn't I get what I ask for. I will be finding a new nail place the next time I do my fill and get my daughters nails done. Read Less

IM VERY PICKY AND MY NAILS MATTER ALOT TO ME!! So I went in with very high hopes because of the reviews and was a lot less satisfied then I thought I'd be. So I went in for a full set and a pedicure. My pedicure was half effort. Two women did touch my feet in this process and the woman who did the pedicure part skipped around my cuticles and didn't clean them properly or well, polish was sloppy looks likes my toes have been painted for almost a week. There's polish on the side of my toes and all over cuticles bottom of the nail bed very sloppy painting. Next I got a full set I wanted a short coffin like tip with square sides showed her a picture she said she understood but not really. She did try but came short in the end also polish job was not good. I got a very light delicate color and they didn't take the time with the polish so there's like polish lines darker nails then others my sides are sloppy and overall they could have done a lot better. This place use to be my go to until tonight. I came in with my friend to get a fill we seriously got the same thing and they charged us $48!!! And then when I wanted to get Diamonds on it it was going to be $70! I seriously get the same diamond design every time I go and pay $37 for a fill & diamonds. All because the lady wanted to go home and didn't want to do it. She was extremely rude the whole time and I will never be back. It was embarrassing that I had everyone watching me go thru this even another customer was shocked I called and asked for a refund and they hung up. I will be suing. Read Less

This is a awesome salon if your looking for a place for amazing nail art.  I stopped here one day with a friend to get our nails done.  We were walk in's but they are able to get us in without too long of a wait.  The place seemed super busy, so we must have lucked out.  Probably best to make an appointment.  The nail tech was super nice.  I was able to show her a picture of what I wanted and she was able to reproduce the art exactly as pictures.  The prices are fair.  The place was super clean.  Will be back for sure. Used to go here all the time they messed up not only my brand new acrylic nails but when they ripped them off the "replace" them they ripped off half my real nails - and no they did not soak them off - I was in so much pain!!! I must say this place is hands down the best nail salon I've ever been to. I use to go to different ones here and there, but after experiencing Le'von I will never go anywhere else again. They always do such an amazing job. Very patient and take their time to make sure your nails are perfect! All of the ladies are very skilled and Levon nail art has got to be one of the best in the world. She does some gorgeous work. Gotta check out their instagram! If you getting designs on your mani you'll get it from the best! Evon is A1 when it comes to nails and nail designs, but duh she's the owner. If your looking to get a "basic" acrylics, I wouldn't recommend everyone there. Most of them are sweet, but not all are great nail technicians. And that's just the honest truth. There's another technician (I would say second best) She does a LOVELY job. She makes sure they're perfect. And I'm VERY picky. So if you're standards are lower than mine and you're not a cheapy, then stop reading. Because if I'm gonna spend that much money on my nails every few weeks. My nails better be looked at first before you see my face. And they better be beautiful af. The first time I went wasn't all that great. One of the nail technicians was trying to make it happen but couldn't, so Ann stepped in and did her magic. Second time was for my birthday and I got Evon to do it (she only does designs for customers) and she great! Girl my nails were popping for 3 WHOLE WEEKS. No jewels popped off. Third time, a nail technician put the gems on crooked and by that time the nail place was already closing and I was tired because I got a mani and pedi after work. So I said f it. No one will notice. But a few gems kept popping off almost every other day.  I was so pissed and called Evon and she fixed it. But they just kept popping off and I was just done with the nails after a week. Fourth time I made it a point to schedule with Ann because I know for sure she wouldn't let me down. And she didn't. My nails are PERFFFFFF. Love love love them.
