I used to go to Gina's years ago when I lived in Kent and loved everything about this salon. They did an amazing job, the staff was wonderful and Gina was the perfect host!  Over the holidays I came home and stopped in for a quick pedicure, and all these years later she still remembered me and made me feel so welcome. I am so disappointed with todays experience. I always come to Gina's and usually its good service. I went there today but Gina was not working today. My Mom and I sat down to get our pedicures. There were others who were there before us also getting pedicures. The ladies there did not understand English AT ALL. I have never had an issue with non-speaking workers because one way or the other you can understand one another. The ladies there were so rude. She kept saying "what you want what you want, you dont get done you go then." Things like these were said after I asked why my Moms pedicure lasted 5 minutes. The lady who did my Moms pedicure did such a terrible job. She was done so quick. Whereas others who were there before us were still enjoying their pedicures. Just a horrible experience. I went in at 6:30 for a mani/pedi. $28 and they did an amazing job!! They close at 7:30, so I was totally surprised when 2 people walked in for pedicures, 2 for full sets, and one person for mani/pedi passed 7 and they still accommodated! They turned no one away! I used to love this salon, but over the past year I have found it overpriced and inconsistent with costs. The staff is friendly, but I can go to another Kent location (Luxury Nails) and pay $5-10 less than Gina's nails for the same service. An employee shouldn't have to call the manager to find a price for a service. Consistency is key. Read Less

Could not recommend this lovely lady highly enough! She is friendly, professional, and having your nails done by her feels like a catch up between friends. After about a year the quality of her work went downhill and I would constantly have to go back to get nails fixed etc. there were even times when my nails were crooked and didn't match the others but I didn't say anything and still tipped good because every now and then people have bad days.. I get it. Last time I saw her it took 2.5 hours for her to do a FILL! She was constantly helping other staff do something or help other customers with getting the water ready for their pedicures.. I thought that's what she pays her employees to do.. I was so annoyed, my husband even asked where I was bc it took so damn long.. it should only take 30 mins for a fill.Let's back track a few months I gave her a Christmas present worth over 100 dollars in beauty products that I purchased for her, I'm a beauty blogger and she always asked what would work on her skin so I told her and was nice and bought her a ton of products because I'm a very giving person and she was always nice to me other than the occasional mess ups.. I didn't expect her to give me any discounts or anything but if it was ME I would have said merry Christmas this ones in me.. like others have done in the past Fast forward to about 2-3 months ago, she was always too busy to see me and when she did it took forever and she would speak in her language to her employees and not even talk to me. I went in about 2 weeks ago, of course she wasn't there again and a young girl did my nails and they were absolute shit. I had to go get them redone somewhere else. I have given this Nail salon so many chances and am extremely disappointed in their customer service and quality of work. The people who work here were very rude and are overpriced for how badly my acrylic nails came out. I paid for me and my friends set of acrylics and my friend clearly told them multiple times that she didnt want shellac nails because they were more expensive but they still proceeded to give shellac and still made me pay for them. I thought I'd try Gina's Nail Spa out because it was close to my house. BIG MISTAKE! I will never go back there again. After I got my pedicure done I noticed that they didn't sanitize the foot tub after the previous person. Today verified all my thoughts. I have a blister on one of toes and very itchy red feet. I followed my instinct & this morning had my Australia Day themed Acrylic nails put on! Had a great time which was pain free, full of chatter & laughter! Lynn took such great care of my nails, I've never had someone take their time and make sure every nail matched. I even had trouble picking a color but Gina helped me mix together some colors to create the perfect one! And I left RIGHT at close and I didn't feel rushed at all!
