Update: After leaving this review, someone by the name of Kim (who I assume is the owner or at least an employee because she is the one who has uploaded all of their photos) contacted me calling me "B-I-C-H-E-S," accusing that I've never actually gone there and to show my real face on yelp. I find this so very extremely childish. If perhaps they had instead owned up to their mistake and offered to make it up to me, then maybe just maybe it would have convinced me to give them another chance. Or maybe I would have increased their review if they at least took responsibility and gave an explanation. But after this display of immature behavior I have decreased the review from 2 stars to 1, and will definitely NEVER be back, and STRONGLY advice against this place. I've been here for eyelash extensions, manicure and pedicure. All experiences were mediocre at best. Instead of adding one extension per eyelash, she clumped on ~3 extensions to 1/2 of my eyelashes, which upon first glance looks very glamorous, but is not at all practical. This was way too much weight so once they grew out a tiny bit they either drooped, popped off or made my eyelashes fall out, and I was left with only a few extensions and 1/2 as many natural lashes after maybe a week. The extensions she used were also way too long and straight instead of curved like they should be to look natural. The manicure and pedicure were mediocre with little attention to detail and honestly just pretty sloppy. For a manicure or pedicure with attention to detail to perfection I would highly recommend Idol Nails, on Bothell Way.P.S. No, I am in no way affiliated with Idol Nails. Walked in at 5:30pm and they had only one customer inside and three employees. I asked if they do gel removals and immediately one of the employees just said "we're busy", not even answering my question. I then asked when they're open until to see if they just wanted me to wait a moment until someone can help me, but the employee just said "come back tomorrow". Their business hour posted outside says they open until 7pm, but I guess they are happy just taking one customer at 5:30pm and then get ready to close the shop for the day. Read Less

This has been my go to nail salon since o discovered them about 6 months ago. They are always accommodating to my last minute plans to come in and very gracious to both myself and my daughter. They do a great job on my nails, never rushing, never compromising quality. I always walk out of there feeling relaxed and pampered. Read Less

Disgusting. Went here with my best friend and did a terrible job. We got our acrylics filled and a manicure. In a the manicure he painted my Nails but messed one nail up. I than Moved my hands to look at the mistake and he then started yelling at me and caused me to be embarrassed. He than got irritated with me and Told me to sit at the other table while he gave my friend a massage and finished her nails well done. Not to mention him filing down my acrylics super thin and really breakable. He also seemed rushed and talked to other women getting they're nails done around us and getting easily done distracted and played on his phone while having something dry. Don't go there. Read Less

I just had the worst experience there.I wanted waxing and got into a glaucous area at the back of the shop (not even a real room).Hygiene is questionnable. A plastic spoon was used to apply the wax and clothes material instead of paper bands to remove the wax.I did not feel confident and asked to stop. Still I had to pay even though I left with not even half of my leg waxed...I absolutely recommend that you find another place. Read Less

The eyelashes here are so good. I've been getting my eyelashes done here ever since I had a bad experience with my old eyelash place! She's very gentle and quick. The prices are very reasonable as well. I have recommended many of my friends here, it's a really good place and everyone is so kind. Also get your nails done! This used to be my go to nail place but over the years, service has deteriorated.  I've not been here since spring but thought I'd try again today.....I will not be coming back and this will be for good!  Today, I soaked my feet with plain 'ol water, no salt or anything, just plain hot water and the lady didn't even ask how the temp was.  I asked for a design and she came up with 15 dots that are supposed to resemble 3 flowers for $5 extra dollars. I don't mind paying extra but the workmanship was just very bad, I'm certain I could have done a better job.  And when I was done, she didn't even take the time to help me out...like removing the foam thingy they put in between your toes or picking up my sandals that was under someone else's purse that was kinda out of my reach. I paid and just walked out!In the interest of full disclosure, I have to say that the wife does a really good job and I am always happy when I get (which is very, very rare).  She takes her time and you feel really pampered.....I just wished everyone else does the same quality of work.**************As of today, 8/25, I have received 3 emails from a Kim J. who I'm sure is either the owner or employee of Golden Nails, who by the way, has posted a 5star review of this place (can you say FAKE review!!).  So unprofessional....what a bunch of losers!! Extremely friendly staff. I was a walk-in & they got to me right away for a mani-pedi. Facilities were very neat & clean and the massage chair was on pointe. Both of the ladies who worked on me did an excellent job and listened very well to my specific instructions. I am definitely going back. Just moved to Seattle from Brooklyn, and they made me feel right at home. Read Less

Just checking out other nail salons in the area, so today I went to Golden Nails off of Juanita drive NE for a basic mani.  As you approach the salon & see its window front  it is filled with welcome stickers, lite up signs and specials written on computer paper. Once in side, I was greeted after a few seconds and asked what service I would like. I sat down and the operator was very nice and sweet. She had a gentle touch, a little too gentle for my massage but still was fine. The service did seem a bit too quick for the amount ($15). Some off my dislikes were the salons decor, it was very unorganized, and had lots of clutter. Great for a quickie but not for relaxation. Read Less

I don't get my brows waxed anywhere else. Perfect every time!  Quick, painless and not as expensive as places that don't do as good a job.  I have gotten a mani/pedi here before. No complaints. The new chairs look like fun but I haven't been in them yet. :) Read Less

I have been going to Golden Nails for 10+ years - as long as I can remember. They are an amazing, local salon that caters to the entire neighborhood. I'm surprised to see some of the nasty reviews here, as this has been nothing like my experience with Nick, Ann, Lynn & Di. I enjoy all of their work. I get a pedicure and shellac manicure every 2-3. Their prices have remained the same and they are very consistent with their work - I never have a complaint.I will continue to recommend this salon to all my friends and family. Read Less

Lynn does a great job on eyebrows, really takes her time to comb it out, tweeze, and wax. Sometimes I come straight from work 10 minutes before they close and I never feel rushed. I just recently got a mani from Nick whom I don't mind most of the time. This is my first mani here and it may have been a long day (I didn't come in 10 minutes before closing this time), but it felt like he was lazy. He rarely looked like he was paying attention to what he was doing and only spoke to me suggesting I come every week and upgrade use their new products. He massaged my hand AFTER having painted my nails which means he couldn't do a great job massaging without ruining the fresh paint. Read Less

Horrible. I don't think i have ever gotten worse service in my life. I got tips and had to return every week to get a nail fixed because they kept breaking without any force at all. by the 4th time i had to go back i was getting a little upset, i walked into this place with a good attitude and a smile on my face despite the difficulty i was having and the man ROLLED HIS EYES at me when i told him i needed my nail fixed. I decided to suck it up and sit down and wait to get it fixed, after 10 minutes of being ignored i decided to leave. but thats not the only thing that makes this place awful, Yes the inside may look nice and clean BUT the people are not, one of my many broken nail expierences I sat down and the woman presisted to go from doing a pedicure as she was touching someones FEET and then toucing my hands to fix my nail... another time i arrived to get a fill and the man had to wake the woman up to help a customer she was sleeping in one of the pedicure chairs, and was falling asleep the entire time she did my nails. ANYWAYS, sorry for the novel but DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, WORSE SERVICE EVER. NEVER EVER EVER GOING BACK. =) Read Less

I've been here for eyelash extensions and acrylic nails and both were great! They have the sparkly acrylic powder here that is impossible to find at other places and they always do a great job! Be sure to call ahead as it can get pretty packed in here, especially at lunch time! Read Less

I've been here a few times. the first time i came my friend and I went in there for an eyebrow waxing and it was HORRIBLE. The guy there left wax in my friends eyebrow and told him to just go home and take it out, and with that said, the eyebrows were totally UNEVEN! The other time i went I got a manie and pedie, and they did it sooo quick, like they wanted you in and out, some of  the nail wasn't fully painted, and plus I couldn't understand half of what they were saying. the quality of the manie and pedie was awful! For the money you pay you want something great, and It was everything but. Don't waste your money here!**UPDATE** Mike H contacted me right after I put this review up and told me I was a Liar, and that what I wrote wasn't true. Mike H works here and puts fake reviews up. I think this is very immature. I agree with Sally J I just wrote what I experienced, I am not a liar, why would I want to write about something bad, I like supporting local businesses, but I will NOT go here, and don't recommend this place, especially since after writing this I got harassed with 4 different messages from Mike H about how I'm a liar.
