I go to Issaquah Nails in the Issaquah Highlands almost once a month and have never had a problem.  I only get pedicures and have very sensitive feet so am particular about who I work with.  I've been going there for over a year and never had a problem.  Once I left on my own without letting the polish dry and smudged my toes getting in the car, so I went back in to get them re-done.  Although I was willing to pay because it was totally my fault, the person at the front desk refused to accept the money.  One time one person asked for cash instead of a card and I said I only had a card and that was it.  Other than that, no problems! I never do reviews unless I feel an urgency to warn fellow nail salon seekers. DON'T GO HERE! Unless you like non stop chatter from entire female staff (in Vietnamese). Not friendly, except to each other. All I wanted was a pedicure and to feel pampered instead I got the worst pedi of my life. I got very minimal leg and feet massage (my favorite part.) The polish must have been old or not properly shaken because it bubbled and scraped off within an hour. Maybe because she didn't apply a top coat. Just so disappointed. So......you have been warned! Although I've heard some of the complaints from other people, I think it has to do with who you work with. I consistently ask for Jenny and have never had anyone better. Great long leg messages and beautiful nails that last. She's friendly and remembers my preferences. I love seeing her as I know I will have a relaxing time as well as a beautiful pedicure when I'm done. When she's done my gel nails, especially the French manicure, I get tons of compliments and she makes it natural without the big wide thick white part. Give this place a try and ask for Jenny . These people don't want your business and they make sure you feel like an annoyance and imposition if you interrupt their catty gossip sessions to purchase services. They are borderline hostile, like, so, sooo rude. I just suffered through a mani pedi where the woman only spoke to scold me and violently yanked on my fingers to make it more convenient for herself. Hey lady, words work too. Then their credit card machine didn't work so they took it upon themselves to tell my sister to pay and have me pay her back. Service is terrible can't quality is inconsistent (shellac lasts 1 week). Done and done. If anyone at all opens a nail business in the Highlands, they'll make a killing. Just like Sarah T's review my experience was very similar.My pedicure was probably 15 minutes and when it came down to paying the lady at the front was fucking rude. As I pulled out my card the lady yelled "do you have cash?!" and I said "what you don't take card?" to what she replies "we prefer cash!".Its 2017 everyone and their mom pays with card. If you want to run a business expect your clients to use their cards as a form of payment because most people don't carry cash. Also how about don't sound so greedy to your clients when they're about to pay. Because of that I only left a $3 tip due to the fact of how disrespectful they were. We were able to get in for a pedicure after waiting about 45 minutes. They didn't spend too much time on rubbing my legs/feet which is most of the reason I go, but the techs were nice enough (no small talk, which I appreciate, but others may find annoying), and my nails look great. Well this place sucks.  My friend and I stopped in, I needed a pedicure and she needed a manicure.  After we were told to pick a color there was no further communication from the lady who did my toes.  She was rough!  She didn't adjust my chair or roll my pants up or ask about the temp of the water.  Cut my nails way too short and then used her finger nails to scratch my legs during the "massage" portion.  The chair was uncomfortable and she didn't even do a good job painting them.  Plus, another employee who wasn't working came and sat in a chair next to me to look at her phone - it was just a really weird experience and I truly felt like I was not wanted in the businessMy friend was told that the design she wanted "wasn't pretty in short nails" and was told several times it wouldn't be pretty.  They cut her cuticles and made her bleed 3 times!!  To make everything better when you pay they loudly ask you how much you want to tip!  My friend and I both left there confused about why they would be running a business when they make you feel very unwelcome.    Don't go - horrible!! Lynn is by far the best nail tech there. She pays such close attention to detail and has the best ideas for designs. They are so friendly and everything is clean and sanitary. The colors to choose from are great as well. They do a fairly good job rotating polish so that you don't end up with old polish that will chip quickly. Read Less

My first time and last time here. Terrible service and the owner had the nerve to ask me if I had a cash tip for the gal that talked the whole time to her co worker while doing my nails. When she was done, nobody ever came back to check my nails etc etc...poor service. Read Less
