Blue Water nail & spa is my new go to place! I have been looking for a new nail salon to go to for about 2 years now, and everyone I go to is a disappointment. But I found BlueWater on Groupon, and just decided to try them out without any knowledge. And I am very happy I did! They were go helpful and honest. They never tried to push me into other services just to get more money out of me, in fact just the opposite happened. I went in asking for Acrylic nails, but the women helping me told me my natural nails were strong and beautiful, and if I got acrylics they would take a long time to get strong and healthy again. She recommended that I get shellac instead. I was so impressed by that. They also did a pedicure on both my husband and I. She saw I had the start of an ingrown toenail (ouch!) and took care of it for me! My husband and I hand such pretty feet after! They never made us feel like they were in a rush. I live in Pueblo, CO which has no "black hair" salons. Went online to find somewhere that could solve my problem and Tina's Hair and Nail Boutique had some of the best reviews!! So i decided to give it a try. Tina is very knowledgeable about all things hair!! Went in to go from natural to processed and she hooked me up!!! The atmosphere was total relaxation!!! Finally found a good nail salon where I can come back for my manicure and pedicure!And very convenient location by my house , walking distance! I went here for the second time today , and writing this review while I'm getting best feet massage I ever had ! This girl is killing it ! Although my first try of this salon was a bit upsetting ( they cut my toes and fingers in 2 places , ouch), this time they recovered and I can't be more happy with my manicure and pedicure!Hopefully it will become my regular place from now on! There aren't enough words to describe how poorly I was treated at this salon yesterday. I made an appointment for pedicures for me and my friend earlier in the day. They started my pedicure about 15 minutes after my appointment time, but it wasn't a big deal. I sat next to my friend while they worked on her. During my pedi, I asked the lady working on my nails if she had time to give me a mani also. She said, "Oh, sure!" She proceeded to the mani after she finished the pedi. She was about halfway one with my mani when the salon manager(?) walked over and spoke with her in Vietnamese then turned to me and said she needed to stop working on my mani because I had not made an appointment for that service and they had other customers waiting. She said either I could sit in the waiting room or come back another time. I told her that I am leaving out of town and I don't have time to come back another time. She nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders and told me that I should have included it on my original appointment. I had to grab a towel and wipe off the cuticle softener and dead skin on my hands and pay and leave. What in her right mind told her it was okay to treat a repeat customer this way?! Why was the next appointment any more important than my own? She acted as though it was my fault that her employee told me she had time to work on my unscheduled mani. Nails only! Don't go for waxing. Brazilians are clearly outside their wheelhouse. Bought a groupon for a bikini wax but asked for a Brazilian. Not to get too graphic so let's just say I'm anything but hair free in the important regions that constitute as a Brazilian. On another note....OUCH! I know waxing is supposed to hurt but a good technician knows how to ease the pain. This was truly a horrible experience. They get 3 stars because I dig their nail expertise. Read Less

Great atmosphere, good hygiene practices, but unprofessional and too rushed. I went mid afternoon (about 1:30 or 2 pm). There were two clients (one person about mid way through a pedicure, and another who was just about finished with a manicure) and 3 employees that I saw when I entered, so it didn't seem busy. I was a walk in (did not have an appointment). I asked if they had time for the herbal pedicure, their top of the line service which includes essential oils in the water, a mint mask, a parafin wax treatment and hot stone massage of the legs and feet. I was told yes, and was led right over to the chair to get started. The first 15 minutes or so of the service was enjoyable. But then, the employee answered her cell phone, and continued to have a conversation for almost 5 minutes, holding her phone in one hand and giving me a half hearted leg rub with her other hand. I was incredulous and appalled. Soon after, quite a few more clients arrived and were given what I have come to know as the "standard" answer that it would only be 10 minutes if they would like to wait. The woman giving me a pedicure proceeded to rush through the rest of it. While I did receive all of the extras that are included in the herbal pedicure, it was not the least bit relaxing as I had expected, and definitely not worth the $48 price. Read Less

Got my nails done here and the tech that did them was new. Another tech kept telling her what to do. Which was fine. I'm ok with someone learning and getting instruction. My nails looked pretty good, got gel Seahawks colors and football's. Within the week they started falling off one by one. I've had gel done before and it lasted forever. This was completely not like my previous experience with that. This was the first and last time I patronized Bluewater nails in Issaquah highlands. Read Less

Why do these salons persist in slipshod service?  Went here today for regular pedi $28. For $7 more inspa does a superior job. (Couldn't get in at short notice so tried this place)The woman here cut and filed the nails to a nice, uniform shape but TOTALLY NEGLECTED anything resembling exfoliation. Seriously? Did you think I wouldn't notice??? A few courtesy swipes with a pumice bar and you charge $28 for that??? Others around me received some sloughing with the metal tool that resembles a cheese grater but I got barely a one over with the sponge. My toes look nice but failing grade on the actual feet. The whole thing took 30 min. Nice people but I won't be giving them any more business. Read Less

I just moved to Colorado Springs . Tina is professional , nice , and love what she does. She is awesome with sew ins but at the same time she keeps my natural hair healthy . Tina's hair and Nail Boutique is one of the BEST salons I've been to here in Colorado Springs! I've been going to Tina's Hair and Nail boutique for about 2 years now. My hair was very damaged before I came to her. She has brought my hair back healthy and long. She's very professional and she does not rush when it comes to giving you a perfect hairstyle.
