Front desks staff was unfriendly, didn't say hi until I did first. But my eyelash extension specialist, Stephanie, was super nice and did a great job adding my eyelashes. Almost 4 weeks later and I have several still on. She did take almost an hour and a half for both eyes. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back to Bellissimo, even with Stephanie. Read Less

I am giving a strong 4 star review to Viktorea, who did exactly what I wanted/needed for my hair. I used a Groupon for this because I really just wanted a trim and most salons don't differentiate a trim from a full on haircut, which is generally anywhere from $40-$65. Yeah, no fucking way. So Groupon was the way to go here, and I chose bellissimo out of the other salon options on there due to the fact that viktorea has done my moms hair twice and did a fabulous job. My mom had cancer on her head a few years ago and now has a deep, large scar covering the entire front part of her hairline (no hair grows there) so it is very important she gets a stylist who can do the perfect sideswept bangs and layer combo to really hide it. You'd be surprised how hard it's been finding someone to do just that. But she loved the cut from viktorea so I knew I was in good hands. Also, the salon is absolutely adorable and quaint. Read Less

Nice salon and friendly girls that work there. I went here as a new customer off of a Groupon and while the customer service was alright, I definitely got a coupon haircut. I was cutting quite a bit off but it was still a lot shorter than she was telling me she would leave it when cutting, and incredibly choppy with chunks everywhere and 'shelf' layers. I see Christi and she is a hair ninja! I love how experienced she is with different hair types and color techniques- she always educates me about why we should or shouldn't do something so that I also understand how to make good decisions about the health of my 'do. I love my appointments with her because she is also super fun to talk to and be around, and so far the rest of the staff there have also been great. "Out with the old, in with the new!" is a phrase I've heard a lot of lately. I've entered a new life station that feels all kinds of disorienting, and my well-meaning friends have done well to wine me, encourage me, feed my face, and buy me gift certificates to places like Bellissimo, so I can get 6 inches of "the old" chopped right off. As fate would have it, the stylist assigned to my appointment (Brianna) is living a life that mirrors my own, and she has the spunk to match my sass. I went to this salon with a Groupon and didn't have the highest expectations (because of that), but was pleasantly surprised when I drove up to the salon.  It is a warm beautiful salon with very kind staff.  I had Ashley as my stylist and would HIGHLY recommend her.  I just asked her to do whatever she thought would look good on me and she did a fantastic job.  It has been almost two months since my cut (sorry it took so long for the review) and I am still getting compliments.  She knew just what to do and was so easy to chat with. I just recently moved back to Seattle and have had my hair done twice by Kristi.  Both times I have absolutely loved the cut and color. We went a little shorter and the layers were great. This last time we lightened up my ends and added in some blonde for Summer. The color came out even better than I had pictured and I love it!!! Cute salon, great service, and love the girls!!! Viktorea was amazing!  I initially purchased a groupon for a haircut and ended up at this salon with little expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was super friendly, salon was adorable and i admit i walked in a few minutes late and Viktorea was so nice about it. I came in with pictures of what I wanted and explained I'm a no fuss kinda girl when it comes to my hair and away we went! Viktorea and i chatted the entire time( and i dont know about you, but half my reason for returning is personality not just the cut) and when she had finished styling my hair asked if i was content. I actually wanted it even shorter and she jumped right back in and got the job done! I cant recommend this shop and especially Viktorea enough! I hate to give this place only a so-so review, but I didn't like the cut.  I tried to like it, but after 2 weeks I went back to my regular place to get it fixed up.Ambiance: hip, modern - noticed some IKEA pieces mixed with cool antique findsParking: Downtown Edmonds, ehh, just depends on when you go - but you can usually find a spotThe Cut: Well, she really seemed to know what she was doing - she was very fast and efficient, it just was't exactly what I wanted - ended up looking sort of frayed everywhere - like I didn't just get a haircut.  She curled it, so it wasn't until the next day that I saw what it really looked like.  She used thinning shears which no one has ever used on me, the result wasn't pretty.Service: Wonderful!  They gave me a call letting me know they would be a little late which was okay by me because I was running late as well.  When I got there the stylist immediately greeted me and was very friendly the whole time.  I felt very comfortable and relaxed with her.Recommendation: I tried this place with a groupon.  I think if you have a more clear picture of what you want, and bring pictures I think you'll be fine. I desparately needed a trim for my split ends and I hadn't gotten a haircut in over 6 months! Groupon led me to Bellissimo where I got my hair done by Ashley who was great! Really nice to talk to and she did a great job of fixing up my long, layered hair and bangs.I will DEFINITELY be back as this was the best haircut I've had since moving to Washington.  Cute place, friendly stylists, quick, and I loved the end product! Being new to the area, I took to Yelp and Groupon to find a salon to try out. Bellissimo had a great deal on Groupon, and given their reviews on Yelp, I knew I had to try it out. I love the salon's look and feel -- clean, trendy, and in a nice area in Edmonds. I was booked with Viktorea for a 1pm appointment. I arrived about 15 minutes early, knowing I would have to wait for my 1pm appointment. When I got there, another stylist greeted me and told my stylist I was here for my appointment. I was told she was running 'a little behind' and when I asked how long 'a little' meant, I didn't get an answer... but, I figured 'a little' would be 10-15 minutes. I opted to sit in their comfy waiting area to flip through some magazines. It turns out 'a little behind' meant 40 minutes behind... yes, I didn't get into the chair until 1:40pm. Fortunately I had time to wait, but that doesn't mean it wasn't irritating to have waited that long. To her credit, Viktorea was apologetic. I took pictures and a sample of a hair extension for the type of cut and color I wanted, and Viktorea achieved that. She was very friendly, and once I was in the chair, she got to work quickly and I was in and out under 2 hours. I was happy with the results.The only reason this review is not any higher is because of the lengthy wait. I've never experienced such a long delay for a hair appointment before, and being that I drove from Everett (where there are several salons closer to home) it didn't really give me the best first impression.I may consider going back because I do love that my hair looks and feels great, but first impressions are everything... As soon as I found out that this is an Affinage salon I knew I was in good hands! That is the only brand of red dye I use. My stylist Brianna knows her business and managed to make my previously butchered hair look human!  ** I have to update my earlier review. I found this salon through Groupon (they had a cut, partial foil, and style coupon). The reviews on here is pretty much what made my decision on coming to this salon. I haven't been to a salon for probably a year (I usually color my hair at home) and obviously I was long over due :) I got my hair done last Saturday. I brought in pictures of the kind of color and layered look I wanted and I am so happy with the results!  My stylist was Viktorea, and she was great. Love her outgoing personality and willingness to work with my hair (fine asian hair, sensitive, dry scalp). She made my time in the chair very comfortable and enjoyable, no 'awkward silence' like some other salons. I love how the salon had a 'vintage/boutique' vibe to it! Each stylist (from what I saw) seemed to be very talented and friendly. But I'd definitely come back and schedule with Viktorea :)ONLY negative - Parking....BUT I guess that's pretty much common with busy Saturday mornings and off-street parking :) Read Less

I've found my salon for life! When I first walked into Bellissimo, I immediately felt at home. It's decorated in a very chic Tuscan cafe style with warm yellow walls and beautiful dark wood. The staff is super friendly and not at all overwhelming; I was greeting upon entering with a smile and a hello (I had heard about the salon and made a previous appointment, but I also understand they take walk-ins when available). I was offered coffee, wine, water...anything my heart desired! My stylist asked me lots of questions about what I was looking for, and when I asked her opinion, she gave me very specific and creative ideas about what she thought would look good on me. And she was right! I've never felt more comfortable giving over complete control to someone, and every time I visit I love my hair more. They do EVERYTHING at Bellissimo: mani/pedi, hair (of course!), eyelash extensions, permanent make-up, extensions (which I've had a few times and LOVED), skin care, bridal parties...everything! If you're unhappy with your current salon and want to try something new, or if you've never had a regular stylist and want to start, I urge you to go to Bellissimo. It's right down on Main Street in Downtown Edmonds (which is possibly the cutest little town ever) and every time I go I get excited. I love this place! Read Less
