Had a good experience the first time... second time was a disaster. It was busy, too busy for the amount of people working.. and they just kept taking more and more people in! I just needed a simple fill and shellac that took me over an hour and they rushed when they finally got to me. My nails turned out all bumpy where they didn’t level out the acrylic just kind of slapped it on there and called it good. Then I asked for sparkles on four of my nails and they told me (not even kidding) “we don’t do that here” and I’m like you’re joking right last time I came here you did. Every place I been to does sparkles. “No We don’t do that”. I left with a plain boring, bumpy ass looking nails, not even close to what I wanted. Not going here again. Read Less

I popped in today against my better judgment, after reading some of their reviews, because I desperately needed a pedicure and was short on time. You bet I’m glad I did! Walked in without an appointment, at noon on a Friday, and was seated and attended to immediately. Linda was very sweet, concerned with my comfort, skilled and efficient. She did a beautiful job! I hope I get her next time, as I’ll definitely go back! They had a huge selection of polish and shellac colors, and an entire menu of mani/pedi/waxing services. The salon was fresh, clean and tidy and although they were busy, the vibe was very relaxed and friendly. My new favorite nail salon! Read Less

Awful customer service! Made an appointment and they didn't get to us for an hour. What should've taken 45 minutes took 2 hours. They don't attend you. They don't answer your questions and are very rude. I do not recommend this place! Read Less

Good pedicure. Dreadful manicure. However, I specifically came here for the SNS manicure. I told three people I wanted it to look like the poster on the wall. They insisted on a color so the manicurist and I picked a pink color. I asked about white tips like in the picture. Didn't happen. My hands were not washed before the work began nor were hang nails ever trimmed. End results when I asked why no tips like the picture they said it was a misunderstanding. They had a good chuckle at my insisting a picture is a picture and I was clear of what I expected. I ended up with a monotone manicure that was thicker on some fingers than other and goop under my misshapen nails. I won't go back. Read Less

Always friendly. Kathy does great work for acrylics! They do have a rush in the afternoon and evenings so I would suggest a morning appointment to not feel being rushed on. Wait times during their busy times can be 10-20 minutes for walk in. Read Less

I normally get a pedi here and yesterday I decided to get sns nails and the end product is bad. I wanted gray and they didn't have it; they don't have a lot of colors to choose from. Any way, the nails look bumpy, uneven and just bad in general. I think that $48 was way to much for the crappy nails. Read Less

My review is not only on my manicure but also the customer service I received. I went here on a Monday to get an SNS manicure. I've had SNS once before and loved it. When they told me to pick a color, they just brought me a big basket with all the powders. I thought it was odd that they didn't have swatches available. It was hard to tell what the colors would look like on my nail through those little jars. I wanted a pinkish nude color and when we went to put it on, it was super sparkly and not at all what I wanted, so we then went back and opened up a few until I found one I liked.The manicure was fine, and she put on a gel coat instead of a regular top coat which I liked because I didn't have to wait for my nails to dry. It looked great and I was happy with them. Fast forward about 5 days. My nails started chipping like crazy. My last SNS manicure lasted over 3 weeks and probably would have lasted longer but I got them redone. But 5 days in it was chipping, the gel top was starting to literally peel off the top. By Sunday they were so bad and I was so upset. I was going to just peel them all off myself, but decided I should contact the nail salon because this wasn't cheap and it's supposed to last. I called Monday morning and they told me to come in so they could look at my nails. I went in and the woman hat did my nails said she had never seen that happen and she wasn't sure why that happened. She apologized and offered to redo them completely. She gave me the option to do shellac this time around instead to avoid the issue happening again and I agreed. They took the SNS nails off, let me pick a new color, and did a full shellac manicure and it looks amazing. They kept apologizing and did it all for no charge, and I really appreciated that. I tipped them because I was so happy with how it was handled. It's sometimes hard to get good customer focused service from nail salons so I will definitely be back as a loyal customer. Read Less

Dang, what a nightmare! I am a man, went for a simple pedicure, just clip my nails. I got the old blind lady. Most of my toenails she looked at, didn't know what to do, so she massaged my feet. I asked her to at least cut my big toenails. Happily, she understood. But at one point she looked at me and said "you ok?" I didn't see blood so I said "yeah". When I got home I noticed I was cut. I picked away the hangnail shrapnel she left behind and applied a healthy dose of neosporin. No infection yet but still got sharp edges on a few nails. Tomorrow I'll go somewhere to get them fixed. Thanks fellow yelpers for a great recommendation! Yesterday, Friday, after a long work week of staring at my "desperately-needing-work-gel manicure" I read the reviews for lavish nails, made a quick call, and secured myself an appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure just five minutes later, despite this busy time slot. The salon it's self was attractive, modern and clean. After just a couple of minutes, I was ushered to one of the best auto-massage chairs I have experienced in a nail salon, and received excellent service by a pedicurist, and then the manicurist, Rannie. Both worked together for a while, until it got just a bit too busy to have two of them working with me simultaneously. Despite the busy time, I never felt rushed, as Rannie helped me match my finger and toe nail colors, and put many coats of gel on my well manicured nails. I had the basic pedicure treatment and gel manicure, but felt that both were very thorough. Always great to find a new option in the Kirkland/Bothell area. I'll be back for sure! Thanks Ronnie!
