Have had very good experiences for nearly 3 years. My hairdresser wasn't available so I booked with someone else, showed up, and was told my appointment wasn't for another 2 weeks! Doesn't make sense since I could have had an appt. with my usual person then. I took my little sister there and we both got our nails done. Beforehand We called and they said it was $25 for an acrylic set for each of us.We got our nails done and the lady told us that the total was $90. I gave her 100 and she even had the audacity to ask if I wanted change back and when I said yes she glared at me. Came in and asked for these gorgeous nails I saw on Pinterest, they *nailed* it (haha nail pun). I felt a little bad because the design was pretty complex but they made it look so beautiful and exactly like the picture and all the staff were so friendly. I came in thinking I was going to get a full set for $25 and I thought that was great deal because I'm on a budget. I went in and when I was done she said it was going to be $35 so I asked her why it was $35 instead of $25 like it said on their board and website. She said because it didn't include the top clear nail polish and something else. One of the best pedicures and waxes I've ever had. The massage was so relaxing. The basic includes an exfoliating scrub and a lotion massage plus a hot stone massage as well. All that for only $23. The employees were extremely nice and friendly. I have pretty thick eyebrows and the lady who waxed them did a perfect job. I went here often after work and at first everything was great. Both the manicures and pedicures we relaxing and the color lasted a long time. It was the perfect stop after a long day at work....Now the service is very poor. The last 3 times I came in the girls were rushed even though there was no one else in the salon. I was cut twice and she put the sugar rub on my dry skin scraping and scratching my skin like sandpaper. She then put menthalated cream over so it began to burn. This last time the woman who worked on me had very long nails that were pointed so they were poking and scraping my skin. My pedicure only lasted 10 minutes and I felt like I was burdening them for coming in. I think they are getting too money hungry and the customer service is not the same. I've been going to this salon for quite a long time. Their service has drastically gone downhill. The last time I was in, a woman became unconscious in her chair. The owner didn't seem all that concerned. In fact, It was one of the patrons that called 911!!!! Sheesh, great customer service! My shellac manicure barely lasted 2 days & it was 30 bucks!! Hubby gave me a day at the salon for Christmas. I walked in, only intending to have a pedicure. The first delightful surprise was when the young man providing the pedicure remembered my name, although it was several months ago when I first used their services.  It wasn't hard to get talked into a full nail set and brow wax. I was a regular customer of another local salon but I felt taken for granted and left. The sugar scrub along with the paraffin wax booties was deightful. Hot towels, stones.  The scrub with leg massage was so invigorating and I enjoyed it very much. My nails, both hands and feet, are perfect and the brow wax which turned into a face wax was also perfect. The two people taking care of me were considerate, gracious, talkative and made me feel special. I spent $100 and tipped the pedi person extra $5 for each ingrown toenail they take care of. I've been to this place twice so far. I called in to reserve our time for my mom and myself. It was pretty busy and at first weren't rushed as we picked colors. However once we got into the seats our experience wasn't that great. They rushed through the whole service, we did mani and pedi. It wasn't great and the job they did was OK. The second time we went in we again reserved our time. There was no one there and they tried everything in their power to upsell us on everything despite telling them No thank you. Also despite nobody being there they rushed us like crazy!! I barely got a chance to even take my shoes off let alone be able to relax and set the massage chair. Quality again was ok. Oh and they wouldn't accept the pricing they had listed on their website. No ok in my book. Friendly people but I wouldn't recommend anyone going and I'll be finding another location. I originally went in because it was the nearest nail salon and I really wanted my acrylics removed that I had done a few weeks before done somewhere else. She got them off fairly quickly then asked if I wanted a manicure. After seeing my nails post-acrylic I said yes. Then she asked if I wanted nail polish and then offered shellac. She was clearly trying to upsell and I was trying to save money, but I decided it was worth it for the polish to last longer to get shellac. I love this place, they give the best and most affordable pedicures here. It's only 23$ for hot stones, a hot towel massage, orange sugar scrub and other treatments! They are so friendly and accommodating, they definitely made my friend and I feel pampered for our spa day. I asked for a flower last minute during my pedicure and she surprised me with the most intricate and beautiful flower design I have ever had done! I went to Bothell Nails, due that it's closer to my home. Terrible mistake. I had a full set done, 3 were broken that day. I didn't have time to get them fixed. But, went in to show them, so I could get them redone the following day. When I went in, they blew me off, giving me attitude, etc. I left. I was disappointed in the quality of the pedicure and insulted that the tech wore gloves to do my feet and the patron sitting next to me he removed them. I was given mismatched separators for my toes that looked used after closer inspection. When I complained about the polish looking streaked because the paint job was rushed I was told to let it dry. The quality and concern seems to be for the customers that come on a regular bases. I have not found a nail salon in Bothell yet that does quality services. They were super nice, but the mani-pedi I received was NOT GOOD! I've had LONGER services and this is my ME time and unfortunately the mani was done within 15 minutes and the pedi was done in 20 minutes. Worst of all they tagged teamed me! I hate it when two nail techs work on me at the same time because I can't focus of one nail tech is asking me to do one thing and the other is talking to me at the same time. When I was getting  my shellac nails done, the nail tech put the UV light dryer on my lap with the pedi water underneath me. I was so uncomfortable! And yes, I do not want to be electrocuted please (the cord was dangling over the water).Please don't go here. Had a bad experience. I don't mind when nail salons try to "upsell" you as long as the "upsell" is worth it. They will charge for Extra length and shaping for acrylics,  and of couse for designs. Well worth it to me, though! I love my nails with all their little up sells, and loved that they were very fast for a full set/pedicure :) 1 hour total and it probably could have been less time had they not received 7 walkins during that time.  I'll be back! I'm not the type to write reviews but I'm too mad not to! Decided to take a chance on this place because my mom lives nearby and she needed to be pampered for Mother's Day. We got here at our appt time and were sat down in the chairs. My mom doesn't like nail polish so she just got a manicure and pedicure. They did both at the same time and finished BOTH IN 10 MINUTES!!!! Is this a joke? She is supposed to be pampered, that was the point of bringing her in. I moved here from New York and have been searching high and low for a good place to get my eyebrows waxed that does not cost an arm and leg.  My search is now over, having found Bothell Nails. Person who was helping out was barely speaking English - maybe that's why they did not do the job right; the manicure was looking ugly and nail polish was everywhere - on the skin and even on the dress. Not to mention that the original request was to get the acrylic set. After the complain the refund was not offered and they even demanded to pre-pay for acrylic set.
