We came here today to celebrate my birthday because we haven't been too impressed by the other nail salons in Bellingham. This place was amazing! We were given fruit and drinks and on top of our beautiful manicures we got amazing massages. If you're only looking to get nails done and spend a bit less you can go elsewhere, but this is a great place to go and be pampered AND know that your nails will look good after. I brought my friend here as part of a birthday pampering day. It was our first time and our experience was wonderful. It was quite a welcomed surprise to not walk in to a salon and be overwhelmed by the smell of polish remover and harsh acrylic nail chemicals. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by name (I had made the appointments a couple of days in advance) once we picked out our polish color we were escorted to our chairs where small plates of cubed fresh fruit were waiting for us to enjoy  the foot tubes were stainless steel and the water was not laced with cheap colored and smelly perfumes. It was clean, clear and d a perfect temperature.  The young lady that did my pedicure was caring and listened to my questions and concerns. It was wonderful to have someone that communicated instead of just smiling at you while ignoring you.At the end of our pedicure Jimmy himself cam over and rubbed a little extra cream into my heal and checked out the toes.I was so impressed with my pedicure that I gave Jimmy a big hug  The only reason I am not giving this a 5 star this time is that the polish on my right foot never dried properly in the first 12 hours (not the foot in the cast) so my big and little toe didn't look as perfect for my trip to Hawaii.  I am sure that if I had been able to return before my trip Jimmy would have made it right.I really enjoyed my pedicure and I will definitely will be back! I'm a dude who likes a good pedicure, and I've been somewhat disappointed with the salons in Bellingham. Right now, Jimmy's has my vote for the best in town. Part of that relates to the quality of service. The salon is well-appointed with comfy chairs. They bring you fresh fruit to nibble and a beverage (I got sparkling water, others were drinking beer or wine). Let's be honest, getting a mani/pedi is a indulgence, and it should feel luxurious. Great personal care!  Fruit and drinks!  They don't take all day either -- efficient without sacrificing the care. Clean and friendly - love the products. My 4 year old daughter had her first pedi and they treated her so well. We always come to Jimmys when we are in town. Love it here! Read Less

I had a mani and pedi. It's nice and relaxing. They give you sparkling juice and fresh fruit and a back massage. Definitely not the best job on the nails though. They only apply one coat of polish so it's already chipping 2 hrs later. My nails are uneven and they didn't do much to my callouses. For the quality of the job, the price is rather higher. I've been to many nail salons around Bham and this one has the best combination of service, quality work and good atmosphere. They were very busy while we were there but kept everyone happy. We got a splendid fruit plate and choice of quality beverages including wine and beer!The selection of polishes was terrific! I left my usual Dior polish at home but they had an OPI almost exactly the same shade.  On top I got a quality pedicure and my toe nails looks neat as well as stylish. Read Less

Bought a deal saver recently and went to use at Jimmys for a Pedicure. Its been over 3+ weeks and my toes still look great despite the growth. :) Typically when I have had a pedicure, toes may start to look chipped around 1-2 weeks. That was impressive. Service was standard, nice that they offer drinks and fruit. If you have any sort of balance issues, this may not be the place for a pedicure. You have to step out to the side and walk down stairs when you are done in the pedicure chair. That was a bit tricky. I had brain surgery and my balance can be a bit impaired at times. Read Less

Great reviews and perfect location lured me in but my experience was not up to par. Called ahead of time for a manicure and pedicure for two on a Monday (mon&tues $50 mani/pedi deal). Walked in on time, it was great to not have a strong chemical odor slap you in face as they use all natural products. Stood around the door for 10 min before anyone to greet us as they were all running around in chaos and the seating area was packed. The pedicure chairs look nice but are far from comfortable, do not recline, and only attempt to massage you with weak vibrations. Offered us drinks and fruit and I actually decided the $6 was worth it in an attempt to get slightly relaxed with the frenzy for a view and sitting at 90 degrees for the entire treatment. The actual pedicure was okay, color selection was scarce, massage portion was weak with a couple strokes and squeezes at my leg, poor heel scrub, slapped on some salt scrub and lotion, and at least could keep the polish off my skin. Left me for a good 20min for my nails to dry and completely dismissed the fact that I booked for manicures as well. Decided I was done at this point and did not want to add to their already over booked schedule. Basically felt like a dressed up/hyped up nail salon that serves cheap wine and beer with a side of cheap fruit tray fruit to add to your bill. In all honestly could have spent $15 more for a real spa pedicure experience or $20 less for the same quality nail care or better at a less chaotic try-hard salon. Read Less

We made an appointment with jimmy for myself and my maids of honor. We showed up 15 min late (oops) but we're greeted warmly. I'd go back for their pedicures not not their manicures. I had my first mani from them last week. The products were good quality but my technician was clearly in a huge hurry to get me out the door. She spent maybe 2 minutes filing my nails. They were all uneven, different lengths, lopsided, and a couple of them had really rough and jagged edges. I didn't notice until later that there was a small hair stuck in the polish on one of my nails, too! The shoulder massage was nice but that was NOT worth $25. Read Less

After hearing so many good things from mutual friends in the area, I was so excited to treat myself while I was in town. My initial visit was fine; friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. The gels looked great initially, but the pedicure was incredibly lackluster. I may as well have painted them myself, not to mention that the nail tech up and left after my manicure finished without checking to make sure my toes had dried. I waited a while thinking that maybe she was getting the next client prepped and would come back and check in a few minutes. Nope. Well, okay then. I got up to leave and awkwardly checked my toes, hoping that they were dried through. A little frustrating, but not the end of the world by any means. But wait, there's more. Three days later, two of my gels peeled off. Are you fucking kidding me? Upon closer inspection, the free edges aren't capped. So, there's that. I wasted $75 at this place, and will not be back. Honestly I was not impressed with this place. Today was my first time coming here, I made a appointment for 3:00pm and when I got there they seemed confused and there wasn't anyone to greet you either. This was probably one of the fastest pedi I've gotten. They didn't clean my feet at all, or even cleaned underneath my toe nails. Wow! So impressed by this place. It is more money then I'm used to spending, but ended up being worth it. I waited to post a review until my nails chipped. Usually, this happens the day after I get a manicure. It just now happened EIGHT DAYS LATER! they use chemical free products (i think? Or organic... Something like that) so maybe it was the product they used that made it last so long. But I was not dainty with it, so i'm impressed.Apart from lasting four times as long as my other manicures ever have, the experience there was also wonderful. They brought me a little fruit plate and a glass of water, they had a full kitchen next door if you wanted something to eat or drink during your services, she gave me a SHOULDER MASSAGE while my nails dried and then a hand massage to finish it all out.Truly a pampering eexperience. Like I said, it costs almost twice what the places I usually go to charge, but considering the experience I had while there and the endurance of my manicure, I'd say it's worth it. Read Less

Very nice nail salon! They offer you a plate of fruit with your service and serve wine/beer/champagne! That's a first for me! I went in wanting a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Sat in the chair for a pedi and waited for them to start to take off my old gel manicure but they didn't. I choose to only have a pedicure since I didn't want to go sit at a table for another hour for the gel manicure. It would be helpful for them to paint fake nails with the nail polish colors they offer. One for regular and one for gels. You have to dig through a box and look at each bottle to determine what color it is and some of them you have to open the bottle. Not convenient at all! Read Less

I was walking by and noticed the sign that Jimmy's uses only vegan, natural, chemical free products. I decided to get a pedicure, and was immediately greeted by Jimmy, who was very welcoming. This place is so different than the pedi shops you see all over the place these days.  Jimmy's uses highest standards of hygiene, and they just got a 97 when inspected last week by the health department.  I love the polish colors- plenty of choices. And no strong odors in the shop. I came out with a great pedi and NO headache from toxic fumes.  Bonus- they served me sparkling water and fruit (I declined the free espresso and veggie plate). This place was my very first ever manicure at the tender age of 16. Airy, soft touch luxury and emphasis on organic/less toxic products will make anyone looking for the upscale, quality experience very pleased. My first pedicure, I was given a complimentary extra long foot massage. Incredibly sweet and meticulous nail techs here. A great touch. Only ladies who can massage my feet without me totally laughing like a maniac. I recommend calling, but often can walk right on in, especially during weekdays. Complimentary fruit and sparkling water is also very nice. My pedicure water wasn't quite as warm as I'd like- my fault-should've said something. But not a big deal at all. Only reason they don't get 5* is due to the way you select your gel polish (A tiny dot on top of the gel bottle? How am I supposed to guess what it will look like on a nail?) and the cost ($20 upgrade just to add gel to a full service $55+ pedicure?). Other than that, truly, Jimmy's is a highly professional, beautifully appointed, chic salon for your nails.
