Beware of the online booking tool! I booked an appointment for a facial to prepare for a formal evening event. The spa instead slated my appointment in for a separate time than what I received confirmation for in their online tool. Not only did I miss out on the opportunity for the treatment I was counting on to prep for the event, but I was also charged  $200.00 for the service I did not receive. I've provided the 2-star rating solely because Lada is a 5 star esthetician, and the hydro therapy area is a nice touch. I've unfortunately cancelled my membership due to the experience above as I would prefer not to pay for expensive treatments that I did not receive, and need peace of mind for area's my credit card information is stored. In the spa's defense, they did send an email to confirm the appointment and the new time. I'm not sure how the new time came to be as I did not agree to this. I had scheduled a massage and it was delightful. The spa is nice, and there is the hydrotherapy room that has both hot and cool pool, steam and sauna. You are welcome to use the facility before or after your treatment. This is a shared space for both men and women. The facility is clean and quiet.The changing area is very small, when everyone gets out of the treatment at the same time it gets very crowded and you are bumping into others.  There is no food/alcohol. I really like this place. I've been here quite a few times. It's very clean and kind of posh. Aside from the hydrotherapy pool, I love the steam room. The facilities is really nice with a relaxation room with a few light snacks provided. The locker room is well equip with towels and all the essentials you need to beautify yourself after good soak. You also have complimentary parking for up to 3hours. I did find out that you now have to make reservations just to use the facility now. We were lucky that we came super early and no one was in the hydrotherapy room. I haven't tried any of the services yet because they are really expensive. I cancelled my membership with them.The staff is rude, they disrespect customers, most of the times my spa experience was ruined with their unpleasent attitude.The cool water pool temperature varies every time, sometimes extremely cold and sometimes overheated.The steam room temperature also varies every time, sometimes extremely hot and sometimes not hot enough.Sauna was several times turned off.They stopped refilling cold towels as well as clean combs.They have to improve to make the spa experience relaxing instead of frustrating, and how to deal and communicate with their customers. I LOVE this place! I have been there a few times and don't want to go anywhere else. The space is beautiful and the service is excellent! I got the Swedish Massage and my Massage Therapist was Jaala, she was wonderful! She did a brief consultation discussing certain areas that I wanted her to work on which was super helpful and helped me feel like I was in good hands. She even help relieve the Sciatic pain in my legs! Quality of service and customer's experience have seriously gone down. We are regulars and have noticed a significant decline in the last few months. 1 - There are way too many people in the hydrotherapy area for it to be relaxing. People are super loud in there and some even bring their electronics. No one enforces rules in here to provide clients with best spa experience. Sometimes, it is so loud, it feels like a zoo. It is definitely the opposite of relaxation and tranquil experience we expect from a spa. 2 - Last month, when we checked in for hydrotherapy, I was given what was obviously an old robe since it was so thin with rips and holes all over the place. No exageration. It was so bad that my friend joked this has to be a rag they mistakenly grabbed. 3 - On our last visit, one of us weren't even given robes or a locker. With a bathing suit underneath our coat, one of the service providers ushered us to the lobby instead of locker room for hydrotherapy. When we finally found someone to assist, there was no apology for the mess up. This was such a bad customer service & experience! This definitely is not how someone should be treated at a high-end spa this place tries to be. I am seriously considering cancelling my membership, because last few visits were so bad. They need to figure out how to manage customer flow so hydrotherapy area isn't over-crowded, educate customers so that they follow the rules and train their employees to provide customer service. My husband surprised me with an Eternal You Spa package for my birthday & it was all worth it! I had an Amazing relaxing day. Stayed here for almost 8 hours of pampering. Delayne was amazing, she did my Chinese body ritual & my radiant foot treatment. Cally was very warm & fun, she did my mani & pedi. Lada did my Hollywood hydrofacial & she was amazing as well. I've brought friends and family, and recently bought my mom a 6-month membership. She decided to use one of her hydrotherapy passes today and was turned away b/c she didn't have any appointment. We've never needed an appointment for hydrotherapy before. I assume it was especially busy today and that was the reason for the need for an appointment, but the lady working the front desk didn't explain that to my mom - she just very rudely told my mom she needed an appointment and that she needed to leave. No explanation of why, just said you always need an appointment, which is not true. My mom agreed to come back some other day, but wanted to book an additional treatment with her 20% member discount. She was told by the same rude lady that she doesn't get a 20% discount. This is just a blatant lie. The membership agreement states members get 20% off additional services, as do all the posters hanging in the spa. I even have a photo. Not only did this employee at best not know what Yuan Spa's policies were, but she spoke to a paying customer in an extremely rude, dismissive way. I truly hope it's not because my mom has an accent but I can't rule that out.I bought the membership for my mom for her to be pampered, not to be disrespected. My mom doesn't want to return to this spa anymore and I'll be calling tomorrow to cancel her membership, as well as all scheduled appointments. Everything here is great. Well I cannot speak for massages and facials however the spa area I have been a few times and I loved it. Always clean and the staff are great. I brought some out of town guests here for a relaxing girls day. We all got massages, and everyone was really happy with these services. Overall, we loved it, but had two small complaints: 1. The locker room is SO SO SO SO TINY. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was absolutely packed, we could barely move around or even get to our locker. I wanted to take a shower after my massage and enjoy the steam room, but there were so many people that I ended up just throwing on my clothes and going home. 2. The relaxation room. The cookies, trial mix, and fruit was gross and stale. I remember this from the last time I was here a few years ago and it hasn't changed. Had a 90 minute massage reservation for a few weeks and waiting in the relaxation room for my masseuse and nobody comes at the appointed time. I had to go to front desk to notify them and only then did they realize my masseuse hadn't shown up. Offered me a male masseuse which I passed on and they ended up finding someone who did give me a good 60 minute massage. At checkout the apologized and gave me 20% off. I love their hydrotherapy circuit. I felt incredible in that alone! I was lucky enough to have Tysan do both my Gua Sha massage and Hollywood Hydrafacial. I felt so relaxed, and just calm. Gua sha is also a great treatment for anyone who hasn't tried it. I was concerned it would be a little painful, but Tysan was really great at judging my tolerance. It was the perfect pampering that I needed, and I really needed it. I highly recommend Tysan if you're looking to treat yourself. She was wonderful! And also, my skin still looks fantastic and it's been two days. Usually my effects fade by the next morning, but I'm still glowing.The one downside I had was I booked an appointment for a massage for just shortly after my flight arrived in Seattle. I did so almost a week in advance, and I also scheduled another massage/facial for the next day (taking full advantage of treating myself for vacation!), but the appointment after my flight was somehow dropped. I highly recommend choosing a confirmation email option or something from them just to make sure it took. Although the staff were unable to fit me in for a massage, they were SO kind and apologetic. I could see they genuinely felt bad, and I was able to get myself covered elsewhere. Even with that experience, I can't give them anything less than 5 stars. I was just here getting a facial and massage after being gone for about a month.  One of the reasons I was away so long, was because no one had returned my 2 previous calls.  I had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday, but upon arrival I was told I had to leave! I had no appointment the rude girl at the front desk said.I feel like I have tolerated a lot of changes in staff, lack of management on site, equipment broken down for periods of time, without any complaints.  After today's encounter, and the bathroom being a mess, I just had to say something.The locker room is HORRIBLE. I come here almost weekly... need I say more? Ha!Jun, Delayne & Bronston are my go-to's for massage therapists; you can't go wrong with any of them! Only request to management would be to remind people that there is no talking in the hydrotherapy... If you live in the Seattle area or just visiting, this spa is a must! The only mistake I made, was not going there immediately from the airport after flying all the way from the East Coast! I have a hot stone massage that was Apsley amazing! The therapist, unfortunately I cannot remember her name, was beyond awesome!Then I spent an hour after my massage, following  their regiment of Hydro therapy. All I can say is wow! 15 minutes in the hot pool followed by 15 minutes and one of the coolest steam rooms I've ever been in. They give you an option to exfoliate in the steam room with two different natural salts, Himalayan  or Atlantic see salt. After 15 minutes in steam, next step is 15 minutes in a cold pool. Then finishing up with 15 minutes in the sauna. I could have done that over and over again all day!! My first time getting a body scrub and wrap, it was AAAAAH-Mazin! I spent an hour in hydrotherapy, which was super relaxing and the time flew by, beforehand. Then, on top of a great scrub and wrap, Bronson massaged some kinks out of my neck and made recommendations on my desk posture. He was great, by the way. However, my massage was less than mediocre because the massage therapist spent the whole dang hour talking to me. However, I had to leave a review for other people considering spending a lot of money on this place.To tell you the conclusion first, I had a terrible experience at this place last week on Friday.Me and my two other friends booked hydrafacial for girl's pamper night and we were very excited. The massage was okay (to be accurate, one of my friend really liked the massage but not me and the other one) Facilities were fancy but it was way too small. there were only 4 people in women's locker room and it was hard to move. No exaggeration. 2 other people came in and everyone couldn't move being naked.Also, I usually am very chill about small business' services because I've been working for a service related business for over 10 years, but one of their receptionist had a remarkably unpleasant attitude towards customers.. Went here for the first time last week and I definitely will return. My facial was heavenly and the pool/sauna/steam area is top notch. So why not 5 stars? As others have mentioned the locker room and relaxation room frankly suck. The locker room is so awkward and small. I couldn't even put items away in my locker without having to move twice to let people by. So uncomfortable and no way I would even attempt to get ready in there. The relaxation room only has 4 chairs, so both times I was in there I had to sit on an uncomfortable hard bench. Not very relaxing! But the spa itself is very nice. My mom loved her massage and I can definitely recommend the facial. I also thought their membership was a nice option for regular visitors. So try to snag a chair in the relaxation room and spend minimal time in the locker room. At least that's my recommendation. Read Less

This secret oasis of a spa is my guilty pleasure! I played tennis competitively as a junior and due to a handful of injuries I had to quit. Not being able to raise my hand higher than my head from bursitis and tendinitis I started calling around to each spa and asking if they could book me with their best masseuse that had dealt with sports injuries, each time I had struck out, until I called YUAN SPA. The receptionist was very friendly and explained a couple of masseuses that would be able to fix my problem. SOLD!! I booked a 1 hour massage with Bronson Young and the rest is history! Unlike the others, before my massage he asked about my background and asked me to identify any injuries or problem areas and if I took any preventative measures. Then proceeded with the massage, he talked me through what he was doing and constantly asking if the pressure was too intense, but it was just right! I love pressure and in the past, I have either not received enough pressure or too much pressure the massage wasn't enjoyable. I could tell like he truly put time and thought into how to treat my injuries, not only did he focus on my shoulder he really took the time to work it's surrounding areas as well, which I felt made a tremendous difference. After my massage he gave me specific stretches that he said would open up my shoulders to alleviate some of the aching. He is a competitive athlete as well and I LOVE that he didn't suggest that I take a break from tennis or quit, he took my injury as a personal challenge to himself and told me give him 3-5 sessions and he would get me back on the court playing in no time. Soon enough, I returned to Bronson eager to kick this injury. He did not lie to me, a couple of 1.5 hour massages and a cupping session my injuries were completely gone! From that day forward I was a believer. The art of massage is sooo powerful and would seriously recommend it and Bronson to anyone who would like some relaxation, injury work or a genuinely great friend! As far as a spa goes in the Seattle region, I really do think this is the best. Their Amenities are great bonus to any treatment you receive. It has a very high end service and atmosphere. Its CLEAN (which is a big one for me) and just well ran. Not only that but as far as massages go, seriously the best. I get messages all the time from different people for medical reasons but I will tell you right now, any massage I get here, is a million timex better. Bronsen and Geo are the ish.... like for real. Bronsen is amazing when it comes to something actually needing to be healed and treated (posture, back spasms, etc.) and Geo... is hands on. Has great pressure and continual strokes. HOWEVER... The reasons why I do not give it 5 out of 4 is the following. 1. As far as amenities goes, it is still limited. There is only one hot pool, one cold pool, one steam room, and one sauna. If you go during a busy time... it gets absolutely packed because they aren't that big. 2. Because of what's stated above, I think 40 is a bit pricey for simple amenities usage. 3. Your locker room is tiny. Its always crowded and hard to squeeze by half naked people. (but for real though) 4. They are slow to fix things. Which is a lame reason to dock someone but I mean come on.. the tiles in a steam room have been missing for like a year. There is a light that is out and never gets changed. You patch a wall but you don't paint over it. So honestly, it isn't a diss on them... it's just they need a new maintenance person. Read Less

I love this place! The price is bit more than you would pay elsewhere for a massage or facial, but included in the price for many of their service, is use of their therapy pools and saunas. Prior to my massage I relaxed in the hot pool, eucalyptus steam room, cool salt water pool, and waited for my massage in the relaxation room equipped with a gas fireplace and healthy snacks and warm tea. I had an amazing deep tissue massage yesterday by Brenna. Having recently strained my back, Brenna used her knowledge gained by working in a sports medicine clinic to ease my aches and pains. The locker room is a bit small but fully equipped with toiletries, hair dryer and even a dryer for your bathing suit. It is no wonder this place has won for best spa by 425 magazine many times. If you only want to use the hydrotherapy rooms, the day pass is $45, no appointment required.  Complimentary if you book any service over $115 (hairs and nails excluded). Go one hour before your appointment and relax in these rooms and again after you are done with your service. I can spend 4 hours here easily! My favorite is the eucalyptus steam room. The twinkling lights resemble stars and is just absolutely beautiful! Salt scrub, cool cucumbers, cold towels and infused water are provided so help yourself and enjoy! The relaxation room is dim and light refreshments (dried fruits, nuts, tea, water) are provided which is very pleasant. Showers and locker room are very well maintained and clean. Feel free to bring your own toiletries but if you're missing anything, they have towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, lotion and brushes.  Oh, there is also a machine to spin-dry your bathing suit. After a thorough search for a good massage, a memorable day with my girlfriends and an amazing spa, I finally found Yuan. They provide many services, from different types of body massage to facials and more. They also offer Hydrotherapy which is access to their steamed and dry sauna and hot and cold Jacuzzi. Purchase of any treatment of $99+ gives you unlimited access to the hydrotherapy for the day, so I would recommend getting there a few hours early and enjoying the spa to the fullest before starting with your massage.Once you get in, you fill out some paperwork and then get a tour of the place. You will be given a locker, a robe and a pair of slippers for the day. You can spend time in the relaxation room, have some refreshments and also wait to be called for your massage. You can also enjoy the hydrotherapy. They provide body salts ( for scrubbing on your body), cucumber to use as a mask, and cold water ( which is much needed after the steamed sauna). They also have an instruction on how to use the hydrotherapy and it is best if you follow their protocol ( go to the steamed sauna first, then the hot tub, off to the cold tub and finish it off with the dry sauna). Do not forget to take your swimming suit with you as the hydrotherapy is co-ed, but if you happen to forget yours, they can always lend you one. Once you are done with the hydrotherapy, you can wait in the relaxation room to be called for your massage. I had booked a 60-minute Swedish massage and my masseuse was Stephanie.  She took me to the massage room and asked if I have any trouble areas that needed more attentions. You can also buy some add ones in the rooms if you are interested. My massage was really good, with a lot of focus on my neck and shoulders ( which were full of knots) and I left really refreshed.There are membership options available as well. You can get a membership for 119$ monthly which gives you one 60-minute massage for free per month plus two free passes to hydrotherapy plus 20% discount on any treatments purchased. If you do not use your massages each month, they roll over to the next month and you do not lose them. Each massage is around $130 ( average), so if you are planning on taking at least one massage per month, you will definitely be saving some money. Since it was a date with all my girlfriends, we ended up having a lot of fun. Not everybody was happy with their massage though. A couple of my friends ended up not enjoying their massages so much, albeit I though mine was really great. I am so so so excited to find a place that offers elegance and services.With a purchase of a treatment, you gain access to the cool and hot pool, steam room and dry room. Wonderful scrubs to use while in the steam or dry room. Showers in the area are also available to be used while interchanging between use of pool, dry and wet rooms.You can also purchase a membership with access to the day spa and % off of some treatments.I thoroughly loved my body scrub and massage. I was given a gift certificate for my 39th birthday from my big brother and his wife. They live in Japan and found this awesome spa right here in my own back yard! I am a caregiver and mother of 4, with a 2 year old grandchild. This was very much needed. I enjoyed my experience from the moment I walked in the door. I was given a tour and oriented on how to enjoy everything the spa had to offer me. I was there for the Inner Peace package and catered lunch! This is the one place I tell people to go to if they are looking for spa services in a nice facility at a reasonable price. I live a fairly active life with running and going to the gym. I also have a fairly demanding career. Getting a massage is not only a treat but therapeutic to my lifestyle.
