Wouldn’t even give 1 star if I didn’t have to. Awful customer service. They attempted to push us out the door when I was clearly asking them to fix the terrible work that they did. I guess we came too close to closing time (had they told us, we would have been happy to come back) so they proceeded to rush and doing sloppy work, start mopping (which caused one of their own employees to slip and fall) and turning off lights. If i could give this place a negative rating, I would. I have had the worst experience at this place. The lady doing the manicure cut my skin, which was bleeding throughout I was there. And after all of this, the lady just seemed to be in a rush to get her job done, without caring whether the bleeding has stopped or not. When i talked to her manager about it, she started yelling at me saying that i was mean to her. I mean I fail to understand what kind of customer service these guys are trying to run their business model on. No wonder the place is always empty. I love this place! It has a nice atmosphere, great color selection, and they do great shellac manicures that last a really long time!The only reason I'm giving three stars instead of five is because the last time I was there the woman who did my nails was very rude, condescending, and rushed through it. She ground my nails down when removing the left over polish, and made them thin and flimsy. She also shaped one of my nails differently than the rest, when I politely asked her to fix it she huffed and said ok, but that the reason it was weirdly shaped was because my nails are short. My nails are not short, they get mistaken for acrylics all the time and I've never had problems doing an almond shape in the last. I've had acrylic nails for years with no problem. I decided to try this place out. Waited for about 35-45 minutes. And when I was getting my nails done, the woman kept leaving her station to treat other guests. I completely understand the business of everything but I would have rather waited an hour to get good service than to feel like this. A few weeks later when it was time for a fill, I noticed I had nail fungi. It looks like this place does not sanitize their tools as often as they should. I was not well taken care of, at all. I have been seeing Cindy here for about 4 months and I am always so happy with my shellac! I just earned a free pedicure with my punch card, I don't get pedis very often but I am always happy when I do, every tech who has done my toes is awesome too. I also like to watch the garbage tv shows that I don't watch at home while I'm here :) headed back in for a new manicure and my free pedi in a little bit. Love this place! Read Less

Got Shallac done a week ago & they refused to give a refund even though I offered to send them photos and give my name for proof to look up my payment. Will not be going there again. You can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. Try the nail salon in Newcastle instead. Read Less

I came here a few days ago after work. I was very happy to find a salon that was open after 7 pm. I went to three different salons before I found this place. They got me right in for a shellac manicure and a pedicure. They got right to work and started my manicure while I was getting a pedicure. But the reason I have to take off a star is, after my shellac was applied, it was coming off. They asked me if I had oily hands, which I replied no. I actually have pretty dry hands and have never had this happen. I'm pretty sure they just didn't remove all of the oil they applied to my cuticles. So I had to have all the shellac removed and have it redone. The manicurist was very nice about staying after hours to finish. The pedicure had been done for a while but they were no means attempts at drying my toenails besides air drying.When I left I put my shoes on, and went home. When I got there I saw my horribly ruined pedicure, which was sad after all of that....... Should have offered me flip flops or put my pedicure under a light to dry them. Also, I think the interior designer of this place is very confused. It was Greek themed, with statues of muscular men and dramatic pillars, then very oriental bells and red themed throughout. This was not a good pedicure experience. My big toenails have experienced some trauma, but during my pedicure I was criticized multiple times for the way they looked and told about a product I should have been using to fix them. I had to ask the woman doing my nails repeatedly to clean under my toenails and even when she did, she did a bad job because she "was afraid of hurting me." Dirt and dead skin were left under my toenails. She also did a bad job of shaping my nails. I thought she had filed them into a nice rounded shape, but when the polish starting going on, I realized how bad a job had been done and had to ask for it to be fixed. They were jagged and uneven. I had to point out where to file and still was left with sharp corners at the edges of my nails and weird dents in the middle. I told her and her manager that "this pedicure is not going well." Instead of offering me sympathy for the bad experience, the manager joined in with the pedicurist blaming the bad shaping job on me cutting my own toenails at home. The manager did not ask me what else was bad about my experience. I did not want to pay for this pedicure, but with no management sympathy, I had to pay. I will not be going here again. Read Less

I walked into NailTouch on a whim last week and was delighted with the result. Facility & tools were clean, staff were friendly and thorough but gentle AND I was in and out in an hour with both a manicure and pedicure for only $32. I just went with basic colors on fingers and toes but found all coats to be evenly applied and nicely done. The woman next to me was getting Friench tips and she was very happy with the work.
