This is very popular nail salon in Bellevue. There are parking spaces right out front. It is right next to my vet's office and a couple of very popular restaurants.The ladies who work here are SO SWEET! I was skeptical after reading some reviews, I took a chance and my god I'm so happy. I've ad shitty nail job after shitty nail job. My job requires me to have my hands in water most days and my really nails get weak. Mimi did my acrylics, and let me tell you no one will ever touch my nails again! She makes them natural and beautiful, she was meticulous and diligent. She looked at my nails from every single Angle before she let me go. I'm so happy. She took her time to do the best job she can and I wouldn't want it any other way. They did everything they could to get me in when I needed it and tried a new technique on my nails! This is my go-to nail salon in Bellevue - I live about 5 minutes away and the variety in color selection is, by far, the greatest I've seen. One issue I normally come across when trying out new salons is that there is a limited variety of neutral tones, but this place has SO many colors to choose from that you may witness the customer in front of you become overwhelmed with indecisiveness. In terms of quality, I almost always leave very satisfied with my shellac manicure - they do a quick, but thorough job and my gel manicures typically last anywhere from 2-4 weeks. The owner is so friendly and welcoming and her interactions are so personable. The staff are also great and they do an amazing job at prioritizing customer service. I've fallen into the trap of being one of those last customers to leave after closing hours and the ladies are never rushed to finish my nails. That's something I truly appreciate because my schedule rarely permits freedom. The only con that I could think of is that the shellac pedicures are priced at $40 which is a little pricey compared to other salons around the area - it would be nice if it also included a sugar scrub, paraffin wax, or some sort of extra service that came with the price. Sometimes it gets so busy that I find myself waiting around for 10 minutes, but that's normal with any quality salon. Give this place a try - you won't be disappointed. Read Less

I've been to multiple stylists here and it's a hit or miss everytime. I tried to get a balayage and Heather messed it all up. I went home crying. It was horrible. I just got it redone by a different stylist yesterday after having to get an olaplex treatment a couple weeks before. Heather ruined my hair and I will never go to posh again. ESPECIALLY for color. I've been here a few times and always leave with happy nails. They have the largest selection of colors (OPI and Essie) than any other salon I've been to. Staff is friendly and more than happy to point you in the right direction if you can't choose a color! Service is quick, but not rushed. The shellac manicures last the 2 weeks, sometimes more. This place is alright. I have been there a few times, it's your typical quick and cheap nail salon. The plus here is that they have LED lights for shellac, which is nice because no matter what people tell you, all UV exposure is bad and has potential for skin cancer. Having said that, I probably won't go back here in the future because the French manicures I got just weren't all that awesome. They were French, but they were uneven and just didn't look great. Often, I went home and just painted over the shellac. So, if you're going for just a regular manicure or Jon French, I think it's alright. Absolutely love this place! My shellac always lasts at least 2 weeks, incredible. Also the girls are always so nice and welcoming. The salon is very clean and sanitary! I love that I know what my service will be like every time. They have a routine and they always preform all services- no shortcuts like other salons. First of all... She told me she could do coffin nails and does them all the time! LIE & LIEI TOLD HER LONG NAILS... She cut them short! She tried to cut corners doing coffin nails.... Attempted to cut them at a slant with clippers rather than file them as they are supposed to and need to be! Once my acrylic was poorly applied.... She pulled out the dremmel (which is only meant to touch up any mistakes in the acrylic & to even and smooth out the acrylic & shape it into a nail) MY GOD I HAVE NEVER HAD A TECHNICIAN DREMMEL MY NAILS FOR SO LONG!!!! My top nail on my pointer finger began to burn and so I started shifting in my seat and tugging on my nail, she kept going at it... All of my nails were being drilled so heavily and for so long that the acvrylic nail was nearly a sliver, once I got home I realized MY ACCRYLIC NAILS ARE FLIMSY! They were so thin I could bend them back and forth very easily! I was appalled, I had my first broken nail within an hour of having them done! *and not to mention, I was already unhappy with the shape and all around look of them finished! they turned out nothing like I described and were nowhere close to the picture i showed! After having them done for a couple hours i noticed my right pointer nail hurting especially bad and I recalled it was a nail that she really dremmeled into. She had pressed pretty hard on that nail to the point it began burning and hours later... The burning sensation is returning!To make a long story short... That nail ended up absessing! it swelled up the size of a golf ball almost!!! Underneath my nail filled up with enough Puss to fill an eye drops bottle!!! my nail came off from the pressure (my fake nail)  and a couple days later after excruciating pain  the abbesses beneath my real nail pops and oozes tons of Puss out from underneath my nail!!! pain and misery are the only things going through my mind... Oh and a really fuckimg ugly nail! The real nail is beginning to reject! Now j am missing almost my entire pointer finger! All because of this incompetent woman who simply DOES NOT NO HOW TO DO NAILS! Please beware of this place! I think this woman is the only one who does the acrylics at medina nails! So DONT GO THERE! I came here with a friend right before I left for vacation. We both got Shellac and holy cow the color selection is AMAZING. Colors on colors on colors. The WHOLE WALL is full of colors. I think I paid about $30 for Shellac manicure, not including tip. I've been to places that offer cheaper shellacs, but this place is quality. I got the shellac done on February 26th... today is March 24th and I kid you not.. NONE of the tips have cracked or peeled off. The bottom of the polish that is close to the cuticle did start to peal about 3 weeks in, but I painted some glitter nail polish at the bottom and painted clear top coat over and BAM a temporary fix and flashy new "shellac." Fast forward to today, glitter polish is falling off and starting to look janky ... I definitely I need to get this removed soon. I posted a picture of my nails today, excuse the awkwardness and yes I know that my nails need some TLC, but at least you everyone can see that the original Shellac is still intact! Parking is TIGHT. They are located in the same complex as Facing East and Boiling point, so there is a heavy flow of cars. Parking spots are close so be careful when getting out of your car. I believe there are a few spots reserved for the Medina nails right in the front of the store.I recommend calling in and getting an appointment because they can get busy at times. I got a gel pedicure done on a Saturday morning.  The younger girl helping me wasn't great.  She did hardly zero massage.  She left my nails pretty long.  And she didn't leave them under the light long enough for the polish to firm up.  The end result was a pedicure that was chipped on the ends and bubbled on the top.  So I went back a week later on a Saturday to ask them to fix it.  This was a very slow process.  They were unapologetic for the sloppy work.  I won't be going to this nail place again.
