Get your pedicure somewhere else.A friend and I were able to make a same day appointment while visiting Anacortes. After sitting down, they told us the hot water heater was broken so they were boiling water to use. That was ok with us, we understand things happen. However, there wasn't much effort as far as the scrub or massage. The lady basically just touched each nail with the tools (I'm not exaggerating!) but didn't remove cuticles. Our feet weren't smooth like they should be after a pedicure. They don't have a large selection of polish but we were able to find a color we liked. The job was sloppy. At one point while the polish was drying, the lady that painted my toenails touched my friends' toenails messing up the polish since it wasn't completely dry. Instead of removing the mess and reapplying, she just brushed another layer on. We were both very disappointed. Read Less

SLOPPY. I would give 3 star because the eyebrow waxing was good (my first time). They give a nice scalp massage as part of the service. But the pedicure however was nothing to brag about & quite disappointing. It was the fastest pedicure I've ever had. The girls touch was lazy. No effort. After leaving I realized my feet were still very rough around the edges. I had to finish that at home. When done properly, you're feet feel so much lighter and softer. Mine still felt heavy and sore. They didn't push back my cuticles let alone trim them. The toenail that ripped off about 1/3 down (not a lot) had nail polish on the skin that I had to scrape off. Finally the nail polish itself was lumpy looking and not smooth at all. Past visits were descent. But never anything to write home about. I went to American Nails to get a spa pedicure and Shellac manicure done for a wedding. I got in really quickly since there was only one other customer there. I wasn't too impressed with the decor or the environment in general. It was pretty clean but super messy. There also wasn't a large assortment of colors compared to other places I've been to before, but they had the ones I wanted. However, as soon as the woman started on my pedicure it was heavenly. I didn't catch her name (wish I did though!) but the woman who did my spa pedicure was AMAZING. She was friendly and made simple chit chat and the pedicure was well done. I've never enjoyed a foot/leg massage until now. She had the perfect pressure, used yummy smelling lotion and used hot stones for my feet and legs. I got the same treatment for my Shellac manicure. I told her it was my first time getting one done and she walked me through the process of the multiple layers plus using the nail dryer every other minute. Finally the prices were on point! $25 for a spa pedicure and $28 for the Shellac was music to my ears. I was in and out in less than an hour, and both my pedi and mani were dry to the touch. If you aren't bothered by the disheveled atmosphere, the service is great and the prices are even better. Read Less

Highly recommend! I had a mani and a pedi, one of the best I've ever had! One of the owners, Jane, gave my a nice relaxing pedicure, complete with a great scrub, massage and even hot stones.  I had the french tips and they look great. My manicure was equally as great.  She really took her time and did a great job.  I usually just get a clear coat and I've had people just put one top coat on and that's all.  She put a few coats, a base and top coats and they look, and even feel awesome. I had a terrific experience, I got a mani and pedi and I couldn't have been happier. I had Diana and she was really friendly. I stayed until after closing and they never said anything and still gave quality service. One of my nails got messed up and without me saying anything she completely redid it. I think this one qualifies as one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. She cut my toenails so short it hurt. And then they were so short she couldn't even get paint on them correctly so she ended up painting half my toes. She told me not to worry it would wash off in the shower. I showed it to one of the other people who worked there and she was really apologetic and fixed it for me but she had to remove all the paint first. She was really nice and did a good job so I made an appointment for a couple days later to come back and get a full set. When I got there they told me they forgot to write down the appointment and asked if I would like to reschedule. When I had been there before the same thing happened to another person. Most wonderful nail place ever!!! They do an amazing job, they really take the time to rub your feet. They don't try to make conversation if its obvious you don't feel like talking. Its wonderful here. I would recommend it in a heartbeat! Read Less

Went here today for a $25 spa pedicure and it was worth every penny. The foot & calf massage lasted much longer than normal nail salons and they even used hot stones! Not the most luxurious decor but the quality and price are right on. I will be back! Read Less
