Jan did my hair it turned out amazing! She really listens to what you want and does great at making it happen..I also got a pedicure by Natalie ... she was very friendly and did a great job. Lisa was so nice when my husband came in and purchased a gift card to surprise me for Valentine’s Day. She also scheduled the consultation with Jan to talk about prices (since I like to know ahead of time what I will be paying) and also while I was getting my hair done she made me the “Jan’s pick me up” milkshake that was delicious... Disappointed! Went in for my scheduled 1100 appointment today, 10 Jan 19, and was informed that my appointment was at 1000 and they now didn’t have time to do the service. I showed the young lady at the counter my e-mail confirmation from “Rachel” that it was at 1100. Response was a “so what” attitude, and an insincere apology ... with a statement that they could reschedule. I was getting the service done for an anniversary date, so a reschedule would not work (in addition to living almost an hour away). Luckily I had a number for Brittany’s Beauty Bar and they were so nice to squeeze me in. Hair looks fantastic ... thanks to Krysta. I raved about this place to my friends and coworkers. The person that I was going to left but I remained a loyal customer. I attempted to make my usual hair appointment but was told that since I no-show'ed the last appointment I booked, that they required a 50% deposit. I declined to pay for a service before hand and I'd like to add that I'm sure I called to notify the front desk that I will not be able to keep the appointment. What happened after that was out of my hands. I've always been a respectable person and I will not disrespect the latter stylist I was going to by not showing up. Recently visited this Salon for the first time for a haircut. It was a very pleasant experience and the service received was outstanding. I went in wanting to improve my current, more alternative type haircut. Not only did I get zero judgement for my hairstyle (like I have at other places), but my hairstylist KG gave me tips and ideas for what would look good with what I had envisioned. Which is particularly impressive considering my description was rather vague. She did very well in trying to fix mistakes previous hairstylists had made as well. I am very impressed and am definitely going to keep returning. I am quite a shy person and this place made me feel at ease. Came in for my first ever spray tan with Mrs. Abby. She did a great job of explaining any and every question that I could think of before we got started. She was extremely professional and personable, and did a wonderful job! I found The Body Shoppe almost a year ago. I had just moved here from Chicago and struggled to find someone who could handle my blond hair. I had several bad experiences around town. Then I found Candy. She listened to my concerns and got me back to the blond I had been searching for! I've been seeing her once a month now and never leave disappointed. If she isn't happy with the color, she fixes it. Nothing is routine for her. Each visit, she examines how my hair is dealing with the color and adjusts accordingly. I started going to the body shoppe when my granny would get her hair done when I was younger and I started getting my hair done when I was older by Candy not only is she my hair stylist but she is my step mother and Amber is my step sister. Amber does amazing styling that I have seen and Candy has done miracles to my hair from my hair being fried and having to cut it wayyyyyy short almost two and half years ago to know which it is long and healthy and back to natural blonde h...air I'm in love with it and I receive compliments on my hair on a daily basis because Candy has been working on getting my hair long and healthy, about a year and half later of cutting it short I wanted to go back to my natural blonde Candy toned it last July, she did not want to do highlights at the time be she didn't want damage my hair by highlighting so I went back in November of 2015 for another tone she told me then that next time my hair would be healthy enough for highlights so in April of this year she did a partial highlight and it went great I loved it and knew I was on the way to blonde hair again and in June I went back to get another partial highlight done and after that it was perfect it's long healthy and blonde, I know Candy is my step mother but I have also seen her with her other clients as well when I have came to visit her She ALWAYS has her clients best interest at heart See More Read Less

When I walked into this spa, I discovered the staff was very welcoming and the facilities were very clean.  My massage itself was so relaxing that it left me sleepy.  The lady who gave me the massage was very interesting, but talked through the whole massage.  It would have been nice to enjoy the quiet music playing in the background.  I didn't come to socialize.  I came to relax.  The nail technician was also very nice.  I was disappointed in my manicure.  I brought my own polish  and the young lady repeatedly tried to convince me to use the studio polish.  I had her use mine On my toes, but I gave in and allowed her to put the studio polish under my personal polish on my fingernails.  MY nail polish (on my toes) has lasted a week, but the nail polish on my fingers (salon covered with mine) began chipping the next day.  (When my husband looked at them the next day, he asked if I had gotten my manicure yet.) The young lady doing my nails kept looking at the clock as if I was putting her behind schedule.  (I had reservations.). She actually left me at the end of my manicure with my fingers in the dryer.  She showed me how to operate it for ten more minutes (2cycles) so she could go to another client.  She also pushed (4 times) this body wrap that she is privately selling even though I expressed very little interest.  The smoothie I tasted was the best thing about the experience.  Try the strawberry white chocolate.  Divine! Got me a pedicure here, and when I left the only thing that looked different was that my feet and legs were scrubbed with some of that sand soap that scrubs while you rub it. $45 for the pedicure, and I didn't notice nothing different in my feet.
